I got the chance to spend some time with the boys from Skmpeez at Magic in February. They were a lot of fun and I got to see the preview of this collection. I think they are really doing some fun and innovative things in the world of men’s swimwear! They have mixed things I never thought of, but it looks traditional. When you look closer you see more patters, prints and just interesting designs. I think they are really fun.
Here is the inspiration for this years’ collection: SKMPEEZ attempts to take the old and make it new again. Much of the 2010
SKMPEEZ collection has a retro feel to it. Inspired by both the 70’s and 80’s, SKMPEEZ draws colours and shapes from both time periods making this collection very bright and vibrant. The 2010 collection also takes many classic patterns such as houndstooth, gingham and plaid and adds it’s own modern twist and flare to it.
