As you all know, I am new to the world of great undies.  I have wanted to try various pairs and see how they differ from the ones I would normally buy at my local retail store.  I stumbled upon this site and began communicating with the editor who, in turn, asked me to join the team and give a straight man’s perspective on undies.  I agreed to do my best.

I was recently given an opportunity to review a pair of briefs by Bone Wear.  The editor knew of my love of all things sheer and when he received this pair, he of course thought of me.  They are a great brief with sheer panels on either side of the pouch area.  The sheer mesh is a light green in color.  When I opened the package, I immediately had to show my wife.  She liked them and could not wait to see them on me.  Of course, I wore them the next day and modeled them for her appreciation.

BONEWEAR

The briefs are constructed of 100% Spandex.  They support everything very nicely and due to the fact that they are spandex, they form to the assets, showing them off nicely.  The elasticized waistband is very comfortable and shows off the brand of undies well.  I needed to adjust the leg openings slightly in order to be completely comfortable. Once that was done, they rocked.

These briefs, along with an assortment of other Bone Wear undies, can be found at Dead Good Undies for approximately $34.68 US Dollars.  The briefs were generously furnished by Bone Wear for review.

I think underwear should be fun no matter what occasion you wear them. If it’s to work, hanging with friends, playing sports…no matter what, they should fit and be enjoyable. With that in mind, the same holds true for date night underwear. These undies I reviewed would be really great date night undies. Not for the first date you strip down but a few dates later.

A designer, Lee Gregory in Atlanta, GA, has come out with a whole line of bejewled underwear. I know exactly what you’re thinking, and no, they aren’t like the bedazzeled spectacular jackets some women have. They are fun and have interesting phrases on them and different designs. I realize these will not be for everyone, but I think a lot of you out there may enjoy them immensely.  Mr. Gregory has done shirts and underwear, but since we’re an underwear blog, we are going to focus on the pair I received.

I got a pair to review from the Poster Hut here in Atlanta. I was given a pair that featured the phrase “Hung Like A Jury” which made me chuckle. It was probably one of the best sayings I have seen on a pair of underwear in a long time. They are black boxer briefs accentuated with writing in red jewels. I could imagine the first experience of taking pants off and hearing someone ask, “What do your undies say?” You stand back, put your hands on your hips, poking out the midsection, and let them read! I imagine it will add something to the bedroom fun.

The undies felt really great, I wondered how the jeweled writing would hold up throughout the day and was relieved to see all of them still intact when undressing later. I also loved the nice fit. From what I learned while at the Poster Hut, Mr. Gregory doesn’t make the undies but adds the embellishments. I totally enjoyed wearing these boxer briefs.

I know we have all seen the new underwear coming out to help guys control what they have…putting it nicely. Women have had Spandex for years to make them appear slimmer to the public. Now, guys are beginning to want the same thing. Equmen has come to the rescue be creating slimming fashions for men. I was very curious about how their products work. You know you’ve seen things online and wondered if they actually worked. Being a tall beefy guy, these really struck my interest and I had to give them a try.

Equmen’s mission statement is:

EQUMEN™ enables men of the world to be at their best.  Using the latest high performance technologies and state-of-the-art designs, our garments are engineered to optimize and energize the body, from street to sport, work to weekend.

EQUMEN™ is about looking sharp and living smart.  Every man, every day, every wear.

You may ask what this mean to you? The underwear they make helps with posture, slimming, and back pain. They do this by helix mapping used in making the underwear. Helix mapping is a system used to support and reinforce the body’s natural structure to the core. It sounds scientific and confusing for underwear, but it’s just a way to say they have really researched their underwear and believe strongly in its purpose.14

I received the two styles…the Singlet and Long Boxer. I decided to wear them to a networking event. Why not try to show my best there? I got out of the shower and I have to ask, “Have you ever tried to put on something nylon/spandex blend after a shower?” It doesn’t work well! I wrestled with the singlet to get it on. When I say singlet, it’s more like a tank top than a wrestling singlet. Had I waited a few minutes, I would have been able to get it on much easier. I tried for about 10 minutes. I wish I had recorded the experience. It would have made for a great YouTube video. I finally got into it and headed to my event. Something I noticed is that it really improves your posture. I noticed how I was standing up unusually straight throughout the night. It also made me slimmer, yet no one said, “Have you lost weight?” I could tell!

I had concerns about the boxers. As you know I’m not a boxer fan, but I do try to keep an open mind. At first, I thought they were going to get loose as the night carried on and drive me crazy. They didn’t! They provided great support and I hardly noticed I was wearing boxers; amazing in itself! They fit great, even though I might have been able to go with a smaller size.

You can see the entire line on the Equmen website located at http://www.equmen.com. The singlet retails for $99.00 for the High Compression we reviewed or $109 for an extra high compression version. The Enhancing Body Fit Trunks are $60. Also, look at the trunk and briefs.  The underwear I reviewed was furnished by Equmen.

I have to start off this review by saying, “HOT”! That describes exactly how I feel whenever the subject of wrestling singlets comes up. Here is part 3 of my 4 part review of the N2N Bodywear workout/active wear. I personally own two singlets and love how they feel when I pull them on. N2N Bodywear is great supporters of UnderwearNewsBriefs.com and sent us their Ultra Skin Singlet in size large to review.

UltraSkinSingletFull09

I have to admit that there are not many places where I can sport a singlet.  On that note, I did have the opportunity to pull on a singlet and wear it out. I sported the red N2N singlet at the premiere party for a monthly event called CODE. The dress code included sports gear so sporting a singlet was totally on the agenda and I wasn’t the only one in a singlet that night. Furthermore, about a half of the guys sporting singlets that night was sporting the N2N singlet in various colors. It was great to see!

The singlet fit well. I have gained a bit of weight since N2N sent me this singlet to review but large still worked. For me, an extra large might have been better and allowed more give. Other than that, it hugged my body well and didn’t ride or pinch in any places. The material was strong and durable. This was good since I had several people tugging on it all night long in various places. The material and the way in which it was put together make this a very lasting item.

UltraSkinSingletPop08BUltraSkinSingletPop08C

I think this singlet looks great on me as well as others. While I was sporting the red singlet, the majority of the other guys sporting the N2N singlet were wearing the blue version. The N2N singlet is very nice to look at and it’s a total eye catcher. I turned several heads as I walked past. This singlet is a great option for any fetish/gear party you plan to attend or if you and friends want to get together and show of gear.

In conclusion, the N2N Ultra Skin Singlet is a very hot active wear item that is on top at any fetish/gear party you may be attending. But please, don’t let me tell you when and where to sport this item. Wherever you want to sport it is fine. I would love to hear how others sport singlets. I give it an overall rating of 4.5 on a scale of 5.

N2N Bodywear provided the clothes that I have reviewed.

Hello all, I am back for part 2 of my 3 part review of the N2N Bodywear active wear. I know that I called it workout gear in the last review, but based on the items in part 2, I am going to switch to active wear. The reason being is that some of us out there would love to wear this type of clothing to the gym and most of us can’t pull it off. Why can’t we pull it off? Well, because it’s a bit more reveling than those of us who are body-conscience would like it to be. Mesh will do that. Love it…but be mindful!

MeshLongShortFull09MeshSplitShortFull09

The two shorts I am reviewing are the Sports Mesh Long Shorts and the Retro Split Mesh Shorts. I have sported both pairs around the house and I wore the long shorts out one night to pick a friend up from the airport. Realize that I never got out of the car when I wore them out. Being a jockstrap guy, it would have been a bit too much for public eyes to see.

The Sports Mesh Long Shorts are comfortable and very breathable. Obviously, if they are somewhat see through, they are going to be very breathable. I received a size large to review and they fit well. They have a drawstring waist so I was able to cinch them up if I wanted to. They have small front pockets that are nice but since they are not too deep, you can’t do much with them. Then again, for me personally, I would not be wearing them out of the house, making them great for lounging around at home, especially if you are like me and are comfortable being naked. These shorts give you some coverage but still allow you to feel exposed. I like that. The mesh material is comfortable and feels great against the skin. I felt great sporting them commando.

MeshLongShortPop08AMeshSplitShortPop08C

The next pair of shorts is a bit more on the skimpy and revealing side of things. And yes, that is a tall order since we are already talking about mesh shorts. This pair is the Retro Split Mesh Shorts. They are designed off of the classic idea of running shorts with the high cut of the sides for freedom of movement. You know, the very short, short look. The material is the same as the long mesh shorts, so they are comfortable and easily worn commando. There is one more very interesting aspect to these shorts, that in my opinion, makes them a pair you actually have to wear commando or with just a thong or jock. They have a built-in pouch for your package to be cradled. So I can tell you, it is very interested. Furthermore, the pouch is detachable. It attaches via several snaps.

In conclusion, the N2N Sports Mesh Long Shorts and the Retro Split Mesh Shorts are unique active wear items I feel are better for lounging around the house or out at a friend’s place where you feel comfortable sporting mesh shorts. I give it an overall rating of 4.2 on a scale of 5.

I was given a pair of Extreme Ring Brief from Undergear® to review and they can be purchased for $16.99.  At first I thought it was a swim suit as the material reminded me of swimsuit material.  I examined the brief and realized that indeed it was undies.  It has a material inside that you use to keep the boys forward to enhance and create a nice eye catching bulge.  However, the pouch that is suppose to house the boys once through the ring seemed a little low and I had to make adjustments to make the boys comfortable.

It’s in an army green and I really like the color.  Once I had them on I enjoyed the material as it is soft and flexible and supportive.  The cut was nice and comfortable but I don’t think these are useful for all day wear.  They would be great for a date night or special occasion.  Every time I had to take care of personal business I had to re-feed the boys through the ring and adjust the pouch just to be comfortable.

You can get the Extreme Ring Thong directly from UnderGear. They are currently selling for $14.99. You can get it in a bikini and boxer as well.

ObviouslyThis is the first pair of thongs I have tried in a while and, I must tell you, I was a little unsure about wearing it.  My wife bought me a thong for our honeymoon many years ago and it had a basic string back.  This pair had about an inch worth of material instead of a string.  I was not sure how comfortable it would be having that much resting in the vertical smile.  Obviously for Men has done it right and you can purchase it for $22.68.

The material turned out to be amazing!  The softness of the Modal is something I haven’t ever felt in men’s underwear.  I put the thong on and it hugged the boys nicely.  The strip in the back rested nicely and I was off for a full days work in the office.  I did not notice the thong back as it was so very comfortable.  I loved the bright green color and the little design on it was a nice touch to add interest.  They were so comfortable I wanted to keep wearing them the next day but refrained.  My wife really appreciates them as well.  She likes the color and snug fit.  They will become a regular addition to my daily wear and I can’t wait to wear them again as they are that comfortable.

I am back with another great review for all you folks. It has been a while since I have posted any reviews or articles. I have been dealing with the logistics of moving from Atlanta, GA back to Washington, DC. I am hoping I don’t have to move again, anytime soon.

cx08_mesh_main

To the topic at hand, underwear! I have mentioned in previous reviews that I have certain favorite brands that include C-IN2, Baskit, Andrew Christian, Nasty Pig, and N2N Bodywear. There is another that is high on the list…Cocksox. The Cocksox Part Mesh Brief was UnderwearNewsBriefs.com “Underwear of the Week” a few weeks ago and for good reason. It only seems right to give it a review as well so that you can get the details on this great pair of briefs.

I have known about this brand for several years. I stumbled upon their website several years ago and purchased a pair of the original briefs in black. Once I slipped that bad boy on, I was hooked! I loved the feel and the fit as well as the way it showed off my package. I am an avid fan of less is more and those briefs fit the bill very nicely. That said, I am here to let you know about these new revealing mesh briefs.

cx08_mesh_sidecx08_mesh_backcx08_mesh_side2

Let’s start with the fit. The fit of these briefs is great. I was a bit surprised since my first pair was a size medium. The mesh pair I was given to review is a large. The pouch fits very well. Again, I love the way it helps to lift my package up and out. This particular pair has a full coverage pouch while the rest of the brief is a tight mesh weave. The waistband is an added feature to the Cocksox briefs. I love it. The original briefs do not have a waistband so I love the fact that you can get these briefs with it or without. The mesh material is comfortable and has good coverage.

cx08_mesh_close

The material of the briefs is high quality! Again, the pouch is very comfortable and soft. The mesh material is also comfy against the skin. I would have to say that the briefs are well put together. The combination of a perfect fit and comfortable material makes this a great addition to anyone’s underwear drawer. I think these briefs are both revealing and still leave something to the imagination. The pouch is not mesh so it allows an air of mystery. But, if you are on the bold side of things are in LOVE with mesh, they have a pair in complete mesh as well. I have worn this pair several times as well as the original briefs and I find them to be great for everyday wear. I have even worn them to the gym and out running.

In conclusion, the Part Mesh Cocksox briefs are a very sexy and hot pair of briefs. I give it an overall rating of 5 on a scale of 5.

JSCheekBoxerI was given the pleasure of trying Joe Snyder® Mini Cheek Boxer.  Upon first inspection, I wondered how I was going to get them on and wear them.  I did a little modeling test run for my wife before we went to bed and was surprised how well they fit.  Later in the week, I decided to give them the full days run and was not disappointed.

It took a little getting used to such a low-rise boxer but they did not hug my cheeks as shown in the picture.  I was somewhat pleased by this as I didn’t want to be spending all day running to the restroom to adjust the back for more comfort.  I am used to things sitting at my waist rather than down around my hips but these felt great.  They are well put together.  The sheer material is very nice and they have a little “JS” logo on them.

There was enough room for the boys and there was no binding around the legs. They did not ride up much and the waistband didn’t curl.  All in all, it was a great experience and I was so glad I was given the opportunity to review them.  They washed well and never lost their shape.

N2N Bodywear Sport Mesh Short
N2N Bodywear Sport Mesh Short

I recently got the chance to review the N2N Bodywear Sports Mesh Short, available at the N2N website for $22.00. You can select from gray/yellow, burgundy/gray, or black/gray. These shorts were provided by N2N for our reviewing.

With everything mesh, some people have an automatic turn off switch. I am not the world’s biggest fan of clothing made of mesh. I have worn different articles of clothing from underwear to the popular mesh shirts of the 80s.

Once I wore a football practice shirt to school. My teacher flipped her lid because it was very revealing. Saying that, when you wear this short, and you know you’ll be around others, be kind and wear underwear. As you can see from the side view picture below, the jock being worn is in clear view to all who glance at the shorts. You will not only be kind to everyone around, but you will be kind to yourself. I wore them for a very brief period of time without underwear and I can say it wasn’t comfortable with skin poking through the holes. I would go as far as saying this would be best suited for a workout at home.

As with the N2N Bodywear Trainer Short, these use a drawstring waist. Unlike the trainer short is

N2N Bodywear Mesh Short - side
N2N Bodywear Mesh Short - side

the use of elastic, making it a bit more of a hold instead of relying solely on the tightness of the drawstring. Another aspect of this short is the use of pockets on the front. These pockets extend almost from the top to the bottom of the short’s length. Possibly an iPod or other music device could be carried in the pockets. If something were to come up and a pocket was needed, it has one on each side of the front. These shorts also sit low on the waist. I reviewed a size small and they did not feel weird as the trainer short felt. When I put them on, they fit as I would expect a small size to fit.

The material used is 100% polyester. It is lightweight and moves with you. And since it is mesh, this material is extremely airy. While wearing them, there was not binding or moving on me. All day wear would be something of a personal choice, as would be where it is worn. Overall, I personally give this short a 4.7.

N2N Bodywear Trainer Short
N2N Bodywear Trainer Short

I was recently given the chance to review the N2N Bodywear Trainer Short. This short can be purchased from the N2N Bodywear Site for $24.00. They come in black/olive, gray/yellow, and navy/white. N2N provided these for review. These are gym/lounge shorts, but who’s to say you can’t wear them as underwear. That is totally up to you! They are comfortable enough for either.

The material of these shorts is so wonderful against the skin…smooth and not clingy in the slightest. The material is stretchy and 100% cotton. I reviewed a small and there was plenty of room. If there was an X-small, I would have been quite content. The drawstring came in good use. I felt the waist sat low.

I wore these shorts for a while before I put them through a workout. I knew from the moment I put them on that one should wear either briefs or a jock underneath. There are still a bunch of people out there at the gym that are very conservative and don’t want to see, much less imagine, someones junk flopping from side to side. I looked at my crotch and could see an outline of the guy. Given this, I put on my briefs then put on the trainer short. All was corrected. I’m sure if one chooses to wear accentuating underwear underneath, you will get as much of the attention you are expecting or wanting to get.

If there was anything I would change, it would have to be the drawstring. I’ve never been that crazy about drawstrings on any article of clothing, including jogging pants. I’m more of an elastic waistband guy. Why? Because the last thing I want to deal with when I go to the bathroom is having to stop…untie…pull out…put back in…tie back up. With these shorts, the issue is when you untie, you better be ready to have a hand free to hold them up. Otherwise, you will be the weirdo at the urinal with your shorts around your ankles. Just let me know what gym you go to first so there can be pictures!

Overall, I will give the N2N Bodywear Trainer Short a 4.76. The fit for the size was a little weird, but that is just personal taste in my workout gear. The material, as I said, feels fantastic. Make sure you read the care instructions…”Hand or machine wash cold water and tumble dry low.” My personal issue with the drawstring affected the put together score and more the overall score than any other aspect. The look is great and daily wear is all a matter of what you are comfortable with in public.

cx03_mhblue_side2

I consider myself very diverse when it comes to brands and cuts of underwear.  I have had the opportunity to expand my diversity and my collection thanks to the UnderwearNewsBreifs.com website.  One brand I was super excited to review was Cocksox.  Just cx03_red_side-1from their band name, this was a brand I knew I would enjoy.

I had the opportunity to try the white Cocksox Brief with the new waistband in a size small. The first thing I noticed was the pouch.  Cocksox is known to help enhance your package with its “sox” design.  There are no rings or slings in these bad boys though; just an over sized pouch that is designed to fit the natural curve of your package.  The fit is a little tighter than most standard briefs, but with the pouch design, it felt as if I wasn’t wearing anything.

The fabric is a unique blend of 92% Supplex and 8% Lycra.  These undies stretch in every direction, making them one of the best pairs of undies I own.  They don’t bunch or ride and this unique blend of fabrics is so light weight, which in the hot humid summers of Iowa, is much appreciated. The waistband is also made of very comfortable elastic and is branded with the Cocksox logo in blue.

cx03_mhblue_backIf I had to find one downfall of these undies, it would be the way they are cut along the butt.  The cut is very high and doesn’t offer as much coverage as a normal brief allows your back end. I am a “less is best” kind of guy, making this not such a huge issue for me, but can see where it might catch a few guys off guard.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Cocksox brief with the new waistband.  The “sox” design makes these undies some of the most comfortable I own. I have worn them both for daily wear and out for a run and these undies held up for both.  I have already ordered 2 more pairs from this amazing Australian brand. One thing to watch out for is the sizing.  I am a 32 inch waist and in most undies, I take a medium. With Cocksox, however, the size small fits me perfectly.  Check out their sizing chart on the website to make sure you get the right size.  If not, Cocksox does have a pretty good exchange/return policy.

Obviously is a brand I have heard so much about. Everyone I know whose purchased them has loved them. Needless to say, I was really excited about reviewing them. They came and I put them on the next day. First thing I noticed was the pouch fit me rather funny. It has a very good and fitted pouch, but it felt like it was slightly squeezing me. I thought, if this is going to feel this wPage_body_product_PLBR_green_sinuousay through out the day, there is no way I can wear them. After about 20 minutes, however, I didn’t notice it.

I wore them for that day and they fit very well. The material is incredible. We have told you about Micro Modal before and I wasn’t sure how it would fit. It reminded me of a nylon lycra blend. It was comfortable and breathed through out the day. I was glad they lived up to their reputation. The best thing is they sent me a green pair. Do you ask why I was so excited? Well, green is my favorite color and whenever I see green undies, I get them. It’s not often you see that color in the choices.

One thing I noticed is that you should never wash these with anything containing Velcro. I washed them with some cargo shorts and I Page_body_product_PLBR_graphite_sinuousfound my briefs stuck to the cargos. I thought,”What in the hell is going on here!” I first thought that maybe they melted but I didn’t set the dryer that high. When I looked further, I noticed it was the Velcro. It didn’t do any damage to the undies except a little to the inside of the waistband.

I did like these and will wear them again. The materials are my favorite and I hope  more companies use this type. It’s truly amazing. Even though the fit didn’t agree with me at first, they became much more comfortable and the day passed.
These were furnished by Obviously and you can pick them up at the Obviously website for $23.59, depending on exchange rates. We will be reviewing more Obviously, so look for them soon. They include the thong and jock!

wSaxx Apparel is a very interesting company. They make boxer briefs, which you know is not my favorite, but they are made to keep your boys in place. They have a very interesting design with panels that keeps everything up and also dry. This is great if you do sports or are real active during the day.

Upon seeing the design, I was a little unsure of how it would fit. It was one of those things that it was either going to be incredible or sidepanel-imgsomething that would, as in today’s lexicon, would FAIL. I got the regular boxer briefs and gave them a shot.

I got what was listed as my size, and they were a little big. I figured, “oh no, I’m in trouble now!” But, it really was comfortable. I was surprised the pouch gave me such support. I like everything being held in place and these did that. When you see the design you will be like, how does it do it? I will answer, I don’t know but I’m glad it did. It’s a great design and one that I wish I had gotten a smaller size. I was told that if I wash in hot and dry on high they would shrink. I will update you on that. But all in all they are well worth a try!

I would say if you’re active, you should definitely give Saxx a try! They are made for the more active guy! I think they will go far! We just did an interview with them and should have that posted in the next week or so. If you’re on Twitter and following them, they posted about their photo shoot last week. And gave you a preview!

Red 2xist Evolve

It’s not often that I try new brands of underwear I find in a department store. Most times I have done this, I have been let down as soon as I pull them into place. The problem I find is that the crotch was not taken into account by the designer. Did the designer want this new brand to be in the adult men’s section of the store? After finding this to be true on numerous occasions, I stopped wasting my money on uninformed decisions.

This past week, I wondered into a local Target. As with all stores I enter with men’s clothing, I found my way to their underwear section for some enlightenment…or should I say, heightening of blood pressure. I found the usual brands carried by such stores, but after roaming for a few seconds, I found a new brand. I walked over with my Elvis lip in place, expecting to be disgusted by another futile attempt to make a comfortable design of underwear. I looked over the model and became intrigued. I read the package, finding these briefs were named Evolve. In smaller letters, it said “by 2xist.” An employee in this department almost had the joy of picking me off the floor. A 2xist product was hanging on a peg in a Target store? This had to be a mistake. A two-pair pack for $12.99 contained a black and a red pouch brief. I gladly took this to the front for a hasty checkout so that I could get home.

I opened the package and pulled out the black pair to do my initial inspection. The material is a cotton/modal/spandex blend (55/37/8). This is some stretchy stuff, let me tell you. I immediately pulled them on to find one brand of department store underwear to fit me like a glove. It was as if a higher power designed something for my tackle to rest. Evolve by 2xistI wear a small and this fit true to size. The name EVOLVE appears on the waistband over the pouch. Nothing about this brief fails my primary inspection.

I wore the red brief all day to a doctor’s appointment the next day. Never once did the leg openings pinch. The waistband did not roll while sitting. In no way did I feel like the underwear was restricting, especially after becoming aroused when spotting someone nice looking. By saying that, you can be secure that when you stretch, so will they. I never once had to reach back and pull material away from a “crack attack.” The day progressed and I wore them to the bowling alley. I generally never wear underwear while bowling, but these briefs vetoed the matter and have assured me that they can hold up to the test of various bodily motions. I would go as far as saying these would work perfectly well in the gym.

After so much praise, I couldn’t give these briefs anything less than a perfect score. These will become the highlights of my underwear collection. That means, they will probably need replacing a long time before any of the rest!

As of right now, the only place I have seen these briefs has been at Target. If they are not carried at another store, I will be fine with that fact. I will not be happy, however, if this line is eliminated. This line has proven itself worthy to be on any man’s midsection.

I know that most of you guys think our blog/website is only about underwear but obviously, since we have reviewed swimwear as well, you can tell we like to venture out and touch on other topics we love. Well, I have another topic worth chatting about…workout clothes. The great people over at N2N Bodywear have given us here at UnderwearNewsBriefs.com some workout gear to review. They were kind enough to send several items. To cover them, I will be breaking up this review into 3 parts. This review will focus on the Trainer Hoodie and Long Shorts.

TrainerHoodieFull09

As you can see from the pictures, these items are very similar in both material and design, leading me to believe they are meant to be worn as an outfit. The fit of the shorts was just right. They were a good length, being not too long or two short for my tastes. I did’t exactly like that the shorts were drawstring instead of elastic, but they fit fine regardless. The hoodie was interesting. It also fit well and I loved the fact of it being sleeveless. I personally like wearing sleeveless shirts when working out and I know it might seem odd to wear a sleeveless hoodie. I do know that my other half thought it was very strange. Granted, when he tried it on he was excited to wear it to the gym to “test” it out.

TrainerHoodiePop09ATrainerLongShortPop09BTrainerLongShortPop09A

As I have said, the material is light and breathable. The cut of both the shorts and the hoodie resisted binding or uncomfortable gathering. I don’t like baggy clothes at the gym, but I also don’t like skin-tight clothing either. The look of the shorts and hoodie together is great. The white strip along the side of both the shorts and the hoodie give both items length, supplying a fit, slim look to the wearer. I would say that this outfit is great for gym wear but also lounging around and relaxing.

In conclusion, the N2N Trainer Hoodie and Long Shorts outfit are a terrific outfit for any work out. I give it an overall rating of 4.8 on a scale of 5.

Hey guys, and maybe, even a few gals. I would like to inform you about a new brand I was introduced to recently. The brand is called Justus Boyz. My good friend John wrote up a review on several pairs of the fitted trunks and I wanted to echo his comments as well as give my two cents.

justus-boyz-fitted-trunks-like-it-hard-series-str8-boyz-lg

I wore the “Str8 Boyz Like it Hard” fitted trunks for a whole day and my activities included my workday in the office as well as mowing the lawn and hitting the gym for some cardio. Normally, I don’t wear trunks since I am a jock lover, but I gave these trunks the benefit of the doubt. I found the trunks to be very comfortable and fit quiet well. The waistband was made of very durable elastic and the size large I was sporting fit me as well as I desired. The material was also soft. It gave ample coverage both in front and back. The pouch was designed well for my junk. I would like to agree with John’s review and say that I liked the way the trunks are cut. They are not too long or too short.

prd_justus-boyz-gay-boyz-like-it-hard-trunk-1justus-boyz-fitted-trunks-like-it-hard-series-gay-boyz-lg

As far as the look, I enjoyed the blue colored trunks with the screen print writing on the thigh. I would, however, have to agree with John. “Is that all?” It would be nice to see something more. I did enjoy wearing them, regardless of that fact. I felt they were great for daily wear and I plan to wear them again whenever I am sick of wearing jocks.

In conclusion, the Justus Boyz fitted trunks are a great pair of boxer style underwear. I give it an overall rating of 4.8 on a scale of 5.

We received the other day some great gear from AussieBum. We were pretty excited since most of us have never tried them before. The only one who has is Greg, whom has posted a few pictures under our “What we are wearing” section. In the coming weeks, you’ll see AussieBum Bodiformreviews on the Clan and Hero Lines.

The first thing I noticed was the waistband. As you all know, I absolutely love waistbands. I’m not sure why, but I love branded waistbands featuring the company brand or logo. I guess it goes back to seeing them peek over the top of a guy’s jeans or shorts, displaying to me what they were wearing. A funny side story is when I went bowling one day, there was a guy in the next lane and it took me a few moments to figure out what he was wearing. It was a white waistband with a blue line. I finally realized it was Nautica. Branding makes it easier to recognize! Getting back to the waistband, the first thing I really IS_bodiform_shape_2noticed was how soft it felt. This is probably the softest feeling band I have ever had on a pair of underwear.

They say, in their advertising, this selection is made with high quality materials, and I found that holds true. These were made out of an extremely high quality of cotton and conformed to my body, feeling great. Very few other undies are made with these materials.

If you’re looking for a smaller brief these may not be for you as they are a full cut style. I wondered, at first, if I would like this style. It was quickly apparent that I love them. They are some of the best briefs I posses. If you are a brief fan, you will love these. Heck, even if you aren’t, you should try them anyway. They have been incredible!

A few years ago, a friend gave me a pair of Cocksox briefs. The one thing I didn’t like is that they were too big! I loved the way they fit but they didn’t fit as great as I had hoped. The ones we recently received fit great!cx01_emerald_front

The first thing you need to know about Cocksox is they have a very pronounced pouch. I wouldn’t suggest wearing them where you don’t want to show off your junk! Wearing them to work may not be a good thing.

I am reviewing the green briefs without the waistband. Green being my favorite color. I put them on and, again, they turned out to be another great pair I have worn as of late. You must be saying, “Don’t you guys ever hate a pair?” Yeah, we have in the past, like with Wraith and the Priape briefs. We have been sent some really great pairs to review that fit awesomely…for which we are forever thankful and which says a lot about the current trends of underwear.

These are more of a bikini cut; they are one of my favorites. They have very thin sides and a pronounced pouch and covers fully in the seat. I chose the regular pouch moreover the snug fit pouch option. You do have a choice! I wore them under my cargos and ran around on the weekend. I will say that I did see a noticeable difference in the cx01_emerald_backbulge department. Obviously, I’m thinking that can be a good thing. These would be great for going out dancing because of the great support they give.

The best thing I like about these is that they are like enhancing undies, but they have no gimmicks. They have designed the pouch to give you some incredible support. These also would be great to wear to the gym or for any another athletic activity.

We all know I love Ginch Gonch! They are one of my favorites, which when you think about it is kind of strange. I love a good pouch and things that fit like a glove. Ginch Gonch doesn’t have a pouch; they are pretty much briefs plain and simple.

The thing that is not plain and simple is the way these briefs are made. They are made not from the traditional cotton, but from a cotton/spandex blend that just fits me so well. In fact, I’m wearing the other Ginch Gonchs I reviewed back in Nov/Dec right now. How ironic!

Another area that stands out is the choice of patterns. The ones I am wearing feature motorcycles. It takes you back to when you were younger and had fun underwear.  No one really cared about it then. I’m glad to see a lot of the “fun” is coming back to undies. Ginch Gonch, I think, really was the first to do something outside of the black/grey/white box. They turned the underwear world on its ear and did something no one else had done.

A thing to check out is their No More Tighty-Whities Campaign. They are bound and determined to put an end to the boring brief! I fully support them! Its time to bring the fun back to men’s underwear and allow each and every one of us show off our personality, not just in our outer wear, but our underwear too!

I hope this review finds all of you guys doing well. I had the opportunity recently to sport the ever so trendy underwear from Ginch Gonch. I own their Red Bandana Jockstrap and LOVE IT! Therefore, I became very interested in reviewing a pair of their new briefs. Ginch Gonch provided a pair of the Spokey Pokey low-rise briefs for me to review. When I received them in the mail, my first thought was, “interesting”.

7114-113

Ginch Gonch has a unique style that separates them from other underwear designers. It has developed underwear lines for both men and women. I feel that it has taken a classic look of underwear and given it a modern feel. I also feel that it does a great job of making underwear fun again. I think, above all else, the latter is the truest point I can make.

While reviewing the Spokey Pokey low-rise briefs from Ginch Gonch, I found them to be very satisfying. I will admit that at first, the name of the briefs threw me, but the design on them explained it all. The briefs are mainly white briefs with a classic look, but on them appears a design involving dirt bikes. This obviously lends to the name of the briefs. I found the briefs to fit pretty well. I reviewed a size large and feel that the fit wasn’t too bad, but for a guy like me, I am curious to know how the XL size would fit. As of any Ginch Gonch underwear, the material is high quality and soft. It is very comfortable for everyday wear and even for a trip to the gym. Being someone who has both a reasonably sized package as well as some decent “junk in the trunk”, I would say that the particular design doesn’t totally work well for my body type. I personally feel much more comfortable with underwear that has a more defined pouch that aids in placement and growth. I don’t know whether going up a size would solve this issue or not.

The look of the briefs is a classic but modern take on the typical briefs of the past. Along with my low-rise version, there is the classic brief version as well as trunks and a jock in this particular design. As I mentioned earlier, this particular pair, along with many others that Ginch Gonch sells, has a very fun and childlike theme. Whether they are trucks, motorcycles, or super heroes, Ginch Gonch is working hard to bring a sense of fun and playfulness back into the underwear world. It’s something we all had when we were much younger but were forced to grow out of too soon.

B&T_MEN_BIKES_SpokeyP_LowR

In conclusion, the Ginch Gonch Spokey Pokey briefs are a pretty good pair of low-rise briefs. I give them an overall rating of 4.2 on a scale of 5.

WesCocksoxMeshBB3

Over the past few years, we have seen a growth in the number of designers who have jumped on the glorious bandwagon of men’s accentuating underwear. In my opinion, there couldn’t be enough. The male body has been screaming since the inception of form fitting underwear for a bit more fabric and forgiveness in the front of these garments. Cocksox realized this WesCocksoxMeshBB2need and has come to the rescue by producing briefs, boxer briefs, and thongs in underwear and a few designs in swimwear as well.

For my review, I was given the Cocksox Mesh Boxer. Before you conjure up opinions based on the single word “mesh”, take into consideration the style of the cut. It is a boxer brief which covers more or the body. Now, picture that style made of mesh material. It’s coverage on a minimal scale. They are boxers with an accentuating pouch, extremely breathable, and they give you the expected feel and fit of a boxer brief. The only thing different than the usual expectation is that it allows more air to an otherwise covered area.

My normal size in underwear is a small and these were just that. I put them on with the hesitation that they might not fit true to size, but as they were lifted into place, I was put at ease. The mesh boxer instantly won me over in the sense that I didn’t feel overly covered. I do favor the idea of minimal coverage of clothing. The pouch formed around the crotch area nicely. This aspect became better WesCocksoxMeshBB1throughout the day.

There were two things that I would have wished were different. A band of about an inch is at the leg opening. I noticed these were a bit tight and I hoped this would counteract the riding associated with many brands of boxer briefs. I understand this is needed to secure the mesh. This may not be something most wearers will experience, but because of this tightness, the bands rolled up during the day. The other point was the tag location. When the tag is too long and sewn into the bottom of the waistband, I refer to it as “crack tag”. This is because during wear, you continue to feel the tag touching the top of your crack. It would have been better if it had been sewn onto the waistband. My easy fix to that would be to simply cut it out, but I don’t know how others feel about removing tags from their clothes.

Overall, I give the Cocksox Mesh Boxer a 4.86. I can’t say the leg opening issue will happen to anyone else. If I had worn a medium, the waistband would have been too loose which makes a small in these the perfect size. I do, however, stick with my opinion on the care/size tag.

Well this is the last pair of Unico I have to review. Which makes me a little sad. I loved putting on a new pair of Unico each day and wearing them when I go about my daily chores and errands. The last pair is boxer brief/trunks. The first thing I have to mention is that I love the way they cut the fabric to accent the pouch. The turn the stripes on an angle and it really accents what you have. They have always done this and it shows they put some thought into the undies.

When I put them on I didn’t expect to like them as much as I did. These had to be the favorite ones out of all the ones I had. They just fit like a glove, like they were made just for me. They were just gave me the support I like in undies. I will say that I wore these longer then a day! I mean have you ever just worn a pair and then the next day you didn’t want to take them off? Well that is what these were.

As you know Unico is one of my favorites and If you like pouch undies then you need to try these and I bet you won’t be disappointed. These areal are great for the gym too, but you will have to be the judge if it passes the “Gym Test” for undies.

WesCin2NoShowBrief

Today, I felt like wearing a pair of C-in2 briefs. I picked up a couple of pairs, but the one I settles with was the No Show Pouch Brief. I’ve owned this pair for a few months but rarely chose it from my collection. After wearing it today, I wonder why I’ve let that happen.

One thing I love about this brief is that for someone who feels they have a little pudgy stomach, it doesn’t cause a problem with the waistband. It is cut low enough to escape that issue. The pouch, secondly, seems a bit more pronounced with the low cut. I personally love accentuating briefs and this one does not fail at its intended purpose. Last, but certainly not least, the brief accentuated my rear. I have felt wonderful all day, knowing that both front and back were being helped out and shown to all who wanted to take a peek.

If there was an issue I didn’t like, it might have been the somewhat overly snug leg openings. I have other C-in2 briefs that aren’t this sung on the legs. Maybe, I figured, it’s the cut and how it molds to your body. I’ll go with that reasoning!

I give this brief a 5 rating. I’m not going to bother with the leg opening issue. I am still enjoying the feeling of it as I sit typing this article.

David Rich, fitness model, model and now an underwear designer.  I am typically skeptical when someone with no design background starts to throw an underwear line out there.  I saw these and thought they were fun, and decided to take the leap by ordering a pair.  I was a little disappointed to have to up a size from what I normally order/wear based on their sizing chart, but gave it a shot anyway.  I got a nice confirmation email that my order was received and my undies were in my hands a week later.

The first thing I noticed was how soft and comfortable they are to touch.  Made out of bamboo and spandex I wasn’t sure what to expect.  I was anxious to put them on, and was not disappointed.  Despite the fact that they look like they are going to be big on me, they fit very well, and sit nicely on my frame.  I was impressed with the comfort that I felt having them on, and they hold their shape incredibly well during the day.  I’ve not worn them to work out yet, as I change into a different pair for workouts.  I have the two different styles of briefs now and a pair of the bikinis (the ones with the red piping/trim).  I would highly recommend, and if you are indeed wealthy – think of it as a way to advertise in the locker room without having to wear much!  =)
