I recently had the awesome privilege in trying out a pair of N2N undies.  I have admired N2N Bodywear for some time now, especially their sheer undies.  Yes, I do love sheer if you haven’t figured that out yet.  The pair I was given to review were cotton.  No matter, I was super excited to try them.  I wasn’t disappointed.  They were super comfortable and I almost forgot what I was wearing.  I actually had to keep reminding myself I was wearing them and I needed to review them.

My review pair was the white cotton Twilight brief.  They are not the sexiest pair but are extremely comfortable.    They are made of 90% cotton and 10% spandex and are ribbed.  They love your body and are very comfortable.

The overall fit was perfect.  They hug your body in all the right places and provide excellent support where needed.  The legs don’t bind and the waistband is not too large and non-binding.  There is plenty of room for everything you own.

I am super happy with my first N2N Bodywear brief and look forward to my next great experience in wearing their undies.

These Twilight briefs can be found at the N2N Bodywear website located at http://www.n2nbodywear.com. These briefs were provided for review.

The Twilight Brief is the first pair of underwear from N2N.  I have tried their workout shorts and liked how they performed.  I had wanted to review underwear by them and now I have been given the chance.

I was happy with the material, made up of 90% cotton and 10% Spandex.  It is comfortable with a good amount of stretch.  Call me spoiled, but I had hoped these briefs would come with a formed pouch.  With all the brands out there which sport an accentuated pouch, I would think N2N might want this great feeling brief to give its wearer the most comfort as possible.  I’m not a fan of briefs that push everything against my body, or in better terms, require me to form my own pouch.

The waistband is a color combination of yellow, gray, and black with the N2N logo surrounding the body.  The band measures 1.5 inches (3.81 cm).  To be elastic, it is a smooth material so not to cut into the body throughout the day.  The leg openings are lined with a cloth covered elastic band.  The altogether fit of the brief was helped by this feature.  The briefs remained in place all the day of classes and lots of walking.

You can find the N2N Twilight brief from their website located at http://www.n2nbodywear.com.  This pair was furnished by N2N for our review.

I have to admit right off the bat that I am not much of a boxer briefs guy.  When I first received these Frank Dandy Pitch Boxer Briefs, I was a little hesitant.  I pulled them out of the packaging, however, and they looked more like a square-cut brief than a boxer brief.  Either way, the fit of these is amazing and the fabric is so soft, causing these to be towards the top of my underwear drawer.

To start off, the Pitch Boxer Brief looks good.  They have a college style to them that isn’t over the top but adds flair.  The pin stripes are not something I see on undies often, but it’s something I really like.  They also added a slight 70’s styling with the small cuts up the side.  Secondly, the fabric is soft and fits well.  The only downfall to this is if you are lacking a butt, like me.  They don’t hug your buns, leaving them a little baggy in the rear.  They held their shape well and never rode up, even though the legs don’t have tight elastic around them.

The Pitch Boxer Brief was my first interaction with Frank Dandy.  I have to stay I am really happy with the fit, material, and overall styling.  I will definitely revisit Frank Dandy again.

Baskit is a brand of underwear that has been around for a little while, and has really taken their undies to a new level as of lately. When I first tried Baskit, they were your pretty standard men’s underwear company. Their collections were your stereotypical basic colors, and cuts. How things have changed.  If you haven’t checked out some of the new styles and cuts from Bakit, you are missing out. Baskit has taken their collections to a whole new level.

One of the new collections that Baskit has launched is its Fine Line’s Collection. With this collection, you can tell that Baskit is starting to push the limits of their collections. In Baskit’s Fine Lines collection you will find a mix of Briefs, Thongs, Square Cuts, and trunks, in White and Indigo. This whole collection is made of a silkier fabric with thin (fine) mesh strips. They are very attractive, and very sexy.

I received the Baskit Fine Lines brief in a size medium and indigo in color.  The sizing was perfect for my 32” waist. The waist band is very traditional. It is white with a gray band and features the Basket logo all the way around. But drop below the waistband and these undies are anything but typical.

This pair of undies is made out of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex giving them a silky soft feeling that stretches and moves with you. They also feature a decent size pouch that I found to have plenty of room and supported everything just fine. The leg openings are decent in size, and stretch to fit and not ride up.  The patter is something that you just need to see.  It is very sexy looking, in that it has these mesh vertical strips that run all the way around the brief. They are reveling, without being to reveling.

The one thing that I didn’t like about these undies is the care tag on the back.  If you have read any of my past reviews, you will know I am not a big fan of a care tag in the back to begin with, but this tag seemed to bother me more than others. These undies are some soft and light weight, and then you add a tag that to some could ruin the experience.

I haven’t gotten to try Baskit in a year or so, but I am very pleased with how far they have come, and am very excited to see where they plan to go. Overall, I really liked these briefs. They are a great mix of sexy and functional, which is hard to find.

You can see the entire Fine Lines collection from Baskit online. I encourage you to check out some of the other styles that Baskit has come out with over the last couple of years as well.  These briefs will run you about $16 USD online and come in both Indigo and white. Baskit provided me with these undies to review.

I love it when underwear brand take something that has the whole world bussing and makes an underwear collection around it. One of my favorite brands is Gigo. If you have never tried them, I highly recommend them. They not only fit great, but they have some of the most fun patterns, colors, and fabric combinations of any brand that I know.

This summer the world was engrossed with everything soccer as the World Cup took over our TV and internet connections. Gigo took all the excitement that is World Cup and turned it into some fun undies. What I like best about the World Cup special edition collection is that it allows you to support your favorite team while supporting, well, you know, your soccer balls.

I received the World Cup style in a size medium. They are a pretty traditional trunk cut undies with a black waistband with a gray Gigo logo and a soccer ball print. The one thing that I really liked about this pair of Gigo, is that it was a more traditional cotton fabric.  The other pairs of Gigo that I have had, have all been a synthetic, which I like, but it was nice to try a more traditional fabric. The fabric is very soft and has a great feel to it.

If you have never tried Gigo, one thing you will want to keep in mind is that they run a little small. So, if you are one of those guys that sit on the border of the size chart, I would go with the bigger size. Gigo is known to be a tighter fitting brand, but that is one thing that I love.  These Gigo provided a great pouch so even though they fit tighter, there is still plenty of room for your “soccer balls.”

I have worn these running and for everyday wear, and they are great for both.  One thing that I did notice is after a few washes the black on the soccer ball patterned fabric has faded, which is something that didn’t happen with my other pair of Gigo.

Overall I really liked this pair of Gigo. They are fun and sporty, comfy and well constructed; all great qualities that I look for in a great pair of undies.

You can see these and the entire World Cup collection on the Gigo website, but if you want to get your hand on a pair you will need to check out a site like Underwear Station. These boxer cuts will cost you around $28 USD. This pattern also comes in a g-string and a jockstrap cut as well.  Underwear Station provided me with these undies to review.

Gigo is one of my favorite underwear brands.  They do a lot of fun and funky things when it comes to men’s underwear. They have a great selection of colors, patterns, and cuts, that will satisfy any guys underwear taste. For traditional cut and conservative colors, to wild and crazy cut and patterns, Gigo is one of the most versatile underwear companies out there today!

I know I was cheering for the USA this year when the World Cup took over our world this summer. But no matter what team you were cheering for, Gigo made a pair of undies for you.  This summer Gigo introduced a special edition collection in honor of the World Cup.  They had a pair of undies for all the major teams, including Canada, England, Argentina, Brasil, USA, Mexico, Netherland, France, Itally and Germany.  So no matter what corner of the globe you were cheering from, there was a pair of undies to match.

Even though I was cheering for the USA, I was really intrigued with the Dark Blue England Boxers.  They just caught my eye and I just had to get my hand on a pair. Lucky for me, I have connections!!

I received the Gigo Dark Blue England boxers in a size medium. They have a navy blue waistband with a gray Gigo logo which looks great peeking over the waistband of your shorts or jeans. The undies are made out of a cotton/spandex blend, which is pretty standard in underwear. It is the right amount of cotton to make the undies feel well constructed, but that little extra spandex allows the undies to move. The fabric is a dark navy blue. On the left side of these undies, Gigo has screen printed a modern looking England flag. It starts just left of the pouch and continues around the back. It really does look amazing, and the contrast between the navy and the White and Red flag is awesome.

I was very excited to try these one. Gigo is known for fitting a little on the small side, so if you decided to get a pair for yourself, check the size chart, and if you aren’t sure, go to the next size bigger. The pouch was pretty standard and fit great. There was plenty of room and I didn’t feel cramped or squished. The waistband is also very comfortable. The care tag on the back of the waistband was kind of annoying though. The only thing I didn’t like about this pair of Gigo, is that the fabric is meant to stretch, however, since the left side is screen printed all the way around, the screen printing didn’t allow the fabric to stretch naturally. So the leg opening on the screen printed side, felt tighter then the other side. It didn’t bother me enough where I couldn’t wear them, but it did take some time to get used to.

Overall I liked these Gigo, like the rest of the Gigo I own. I think there are a few things that could have been thought out a little better, but  nothing that would discourage me from buying Gigo again!

Andrew Christian.  Comfortable…for sure, mainstream…almost, good underwear…definitely.  All of my AC pairs have a feel that can’t be matched by other brands.  They have a silky smooth feel and are always a boost in the day.  Couple that with good colors and you’ve got yourself a winner in the underwear drawer.  Length is something of an issue these days too and boxers with a reasonable length are a plus.

I actually put these FlexSoft boxers through quite the test of class and a pretty intense workout.  They held up pretty dang well.  I will say I’m not a fan of the pouch technology.  It’s not a strike against them, but something I don’t like industry wide.  That being said, this is still good underwear and the pouch isn’t something that you have to take advantage of.  If you do like pouches, however, then you’ll love the Show-It feature offered by Andrew Christian.  All said and done, this pair can handle a full day with a little bunching here and there, but it’s not unexpected.

The parts of this underwear shed a little light on its good feeling.  The material would be Rayon…93% of it to be exact.  The other 7% is a comfy stretch, thanks to spandex.  Those materials make up an awesome pair of underwear with two great color schemes.   It’s a must have.  If you want that almost mainstream look with that amazing feel, the FlexSoft Boxer is the pair for you.

Andrew Christian provided me with this pair of underwear to review.

What can be said for Andrew Christian that hasn’t already been said?  I don’t think there is anything else that can be said other than the guy is a pure genius in the arena of underwear designers.  It’s refreshing to know that a designer has come along that realizes underwear should fit you in accordance to what you posses and not what little or more the designer guesses you can place inside their creations.  A true testament to the designer is when his/her creations accentuate the wearer and not force them to hide their body.  Andrew Christian has nailed this premise with his Almost Naked line of briefs, trunks, and boxers.  I have acquired a pair of boxers to review for UNB.

I should state before I get into the review that I am not a frequent boxer brief wearer.  I do not wear boxers at all, but I will occasionally put on a pair of boxer briefs.  No matter the design, if I wear them, they have to be comfortable.  My complaint about boxer briefs is that on my body, they ride like you would not believe.  I will spent most of the day stopping on the sidewalk or in a store and pull the legs back into place.  As you can imagine, this does cause some strange looks from others.  I simply stand up and smile, mostly at the other guys smiling toward me, because deep down inside, they know exactly what I’m doing and why.  When I wore these, I found myself missing those looks as I never once had to pull them back into place.

I hold the Andrew Christian Almost Naked Sport Boxer in the utmost high praise.  The material (94% Super Soft Rayon made from Bamboo and 6% Spandex) is soft and flexible yet strong enough to stay put when you are actively moving about the office or out in public.  The Sport Boxer features the Anti-Muffin Top elastic “for a slimmer looking waistline.”  The waistband measures 1.75 inches (4.445 cm).  The leg openings are the same fabric and color as the piping along the sides (not visible) adding to the aesthetic of these boxers.  The construction of the natural-hang pouch is beyond explanation.  Whatever you posses, the pouch will easily uplift and present.  I’ve seen pictures of certain performers wearing the Almost Naked line and, without a doubt, there should be no second guessing whether or not they will provide adequate room and allow a natural hang to avoid pinching.

I wore these while at work for an eight hour shift.  The problem with many of the boxer briefs I wear is that when I am sitting at work, the boxers slide up my leg and tend to bunch.  I was surprised when I stood up and felt the boxers  had remained in place.  That caused me to love them from then on.   I reviewed a medium but feel that I could use a small.  My body is stuck in one of those “in between” sizes where you never truly know what size to purchase.

A wonderful aspect about purchasing from Andrew Christian is the fact that you can be sure you are buying American made products.  These and other designs created by AC are made in the design studio in Los Angeles, CA.  That, in itself, gives me motivation to buy from this company because it allows many Americans to have jobs in this time of economic insecurity.

The Andrew Christian Almost Naked Sports Boxer is a fantastic addition in the world of men’s underwear.  If you are a constant wearer of this design, having this boxer in your collection would be a benefit.  You can find the AC Sports Boxer at the company website located at www.andrewchristianshop.com and they are priced at $34.00.

I guess my article about 80% of people not changing the style of underwear the older they get does not pertain to me.  We continue with more Andrew Christian.  I swear I didn’t plan it this way, but my “let’s try new undies” campaign continues.

I admit that I am not a boxer brief fan.  I know we have a large number of readers who enjoy them every day.  If I had a choice, I’d choose a brief or trunk over a boxer brief.  The good thing about working on this site is that I get to try things I normally wouldn’t buy.  The Almost Naked Sports Boxer was very cute.  They reminded me more of shorts than underwear.

I tried them on and I really loved the Almost Naked line.  The pouch is ergonomically designed.  It’s not one that is designed for sports but more for every day wear.  It fits me really well and I enjoy them.

The pair has a longer leg than I like. They were a few inches long when I’m used to trunks that are one to two inches long in the leg.  My main concern was that the legs would ride up.  I have had this happen before and nothing drives me crazier.  I have worn thongs and would rather have an annoying strap in the back than boxer briefs that ride up my legs.

After a day of wearing them, I was very happy they didn’t ride up.  The piping on the leg is a great feature of the pair.  They are also perfect for lounging around the house on a Saturday or Sunday, relaxing while watching HGTV.  Yes, I know I’m showing my age!

The sizing was true as well.  I didn’t have any issues.  Again, I think Andrew Christian give much attention to sizing and is pretty much spot on.  I believe you can confidently buy these in your normal size.

We are back with a boatload of Andrew Christian reviews.  Every time you turn around, they are coming out with new and awesome undies.  We received some of the new Flex Soft line in white.  This is a new line featuring the Horseshoe Shaped cup.

The following is an excerpt from Andrew Christian, describing this line:

This soft and flexible sports underwear features our proprietary Support Technology consisting of a hidden “comfy cup”. This horseshoe shaped inner cup is lined by soft elastic that gently aids in the lifting and support.  FlexSoft is made from a super soft modal fabric, which is perfect for sports and working out as it is up to 50% more absorbent than cotton.  Modal also resists shrinking and fading.  The underwear also features the custom Andrew Christian “Anti-Muffin Top” elastic to slim the appearance of love handles. This body has sporty stripes along the front.  It also features a tri-color waistband with contrast stitching along bottom of leg.

I will admit that I’m not a fan of the straps and concoctions that some underwear has for enhancement.  But again, this is my out-of-the-box underwear review.  The pouch really is awesome.  It reminded me of the Almost Naked construction with a bit more support.  I think Andrew Christian has done a great job creating underwear to truly fit a man well.

I wore these to an amusement park.  It was a hot and humid night in Atlanta.  When the rest of the country is having fall, we are stuck in summer.  You know it could have been a disaster, but in the humidity and heat, I never felt icky in this underwear.  It breathed and kept supporting all night long.  I think that these will be a favorite Andrew Christian article of clothing.  I love a great pouch and these have it.  It’s not too restricting but just felt perfect!

The sizing is pretty much spot on.  I don’t think you will have an issue of them running small.  I have had very few issues with sizing with any AC choice.  They are one of the best in sizing.

The Flex Soft Brief can be purchased from the Andrew Christian website.  They are available in white and black.  These were furnished for review.

This review is majorly overdue.  I received these at the end of July and then I attended Magic/Curve.  Shortly after, I battled with a short illness that put me over a month behind with my reviews.  That being said, I want to apologize to Boqari for getting this up so late.

Here is what Boqari says about their underwear:

“Our Mission is to design the sexiest, most comfortable men’s underwear in the world.’ says designer JJ Boqari.  “These designs are sexy, modern, sleek…like nothing you’ve seen before.  And they look equally sexy on men and women.  In fact, most of our designs are gender fluid.  We think everybody is sexy.”

I found that the underwear comes in two sizes…S/M (28-33) and L/X (34-40)…with me being on the L/XL side.  I pulled them out of the package, thinking that these would not fit me.  To my surprise, they did fit.  They didn’t ride down (you know when a size is too small and they won’t stay up), bind, or anything to make them uncomfortable.

The Jamaica Mesh is the pair I received.  I wasn’t sure about the back being a series of holes and was concerned about how that would work during the day.  I decided to wear them on a day I wouldn’t be doing much.  If needed, I would be in a position to take them off.  The mesh really didn’t bother me, in fact, due to the no-seams material.  I will admit that I judged a book by its cover when I took them out of the package.  I knew right away I wasn’t going to like them because they wouldn’t fit me and the mesh would drive me nuts.

Another judgment I had was the seamless material.  I won’t mention another brand name, but they had a seamless pair that lost its shape.  They were simply not well made.  I was hoping these wouldn’t do that and they held up awesomely.

We’re back with more Spanx reviews!   Now it’s time for the Tank review.  I was hoping the tank would have the same fit and feel as the t-shirt I liked so well.  I really did love the shirt.

I wore this one to another networking event.  Notice a trend here!  I’m looking for a full time job and being in marketing, you have to network your butt off.  Sell yourself!  I wish UNB was my only job.  Like the other shirt, it wasn’t too difficult to put on.  Granted, some of the shape-ware can be a workout just to put it on and, once it’s on, you don’t take it off till you’re done.

I really loved the achieved fit of these, making you appear thinner.  The fit was good and not too tight.  The material of the tank and the t-shirt is very high quality.  It’s a 81/19% mix of cotton and spandex, one I think will hold up well for many uses.  Knowing the reputation of Spanx, I wouldn’t expect anything but high quality products.

This one also rode up in the back, but again, I’m not too sure that it’s not more me being tall than the design.  It didn’t’ ride up as much as the t-shirt.  As I said, if it is the only downside, it’s a minor one.

The shirt retails for $55 which is a lot for a shirt, but if you are looking for great shape enhancing gear, you can’t go wrong with this shirt.  It will be well worth the initial investment.

You can pick these up at the Spanx website by looking under the “Spanx for Men” heading.  Check the website often as they will be releasing more underwear for men soon. These were furnished by Spanx for review.

In the two years I have been doing this site, I have never had more requests than for  Spanx for Men.  It is now a reality.  Right now, they only have shirts but there are plans for more underwear coming very soon.  If you aren’t familiar with Spanx, they are a company making garments for women, and now men, to appear slimmer.  I was given the opportunity to review two different shirts: the Crew and the Tank in the Cotton Compression line.

Granted, I’m a beefy guy.  Not sure if many of you out there know that by looking at the staff information on the “About” page of the site.  I know underwear in general is about the new, the hot, and the now, taking into consideration how how a guy is in them.  We’ve noticed a growing interest in shape-ware, including me.  That being said, we can carry on with the review.

The first shirt to review is the Crew.  It’s basically the t-shirt of the line.  I pulled it out of the box and it looked a little small.  I thought, “Oh no.  I will have a fight getting this on.”  There is nothing worse than having to struggle while putting on your clothes.  I had a bit of  a struggle but nothing bad.

I wore the shirt to a networking event.  The first thing I noticed is that it felt like I has holding my stomach in without actually doing it.  Noticed I did look thinner.  It really surprised me.  I also noticed my posture was amazing.  In this shirt, you can’t help but stand tall, almost as if it is forcing you into the position.  I really liked it and will definitely wear it to more networking events and interviews.

There was a downside.  I think this is mainly because I am so tall.  The shirt rode up a bit in the back, sometimes noticeable, but other times not so much.  Being 6’4” (1.93 meters), this is a problem I usually face.  I’m not sure it’s a design flaw, but rather that I’m tall and no matter what, it may ride.  If someone else purchases these, let me know if you have this issue.  If this is the worst thing about the shirt, then it’s pretty much awesome.

I have to admit that this is my first pair of C-IN2, and I’m ashamed to admit that, because I’ve been missing out on some great underwear. Probably the biggest thing is the form factor. The Punt. When I first got these, I thought they were a brief, then when I put them on, I figured they would go down to a boxer brief length, but the ended halfway. It’s something I’ve never seen before, and it’s something I would like to see much more often.

The Bamboo has quite a few ingredients, the largest of which is the 69% Rayon (The Bamboo) then the usual 29% Cotton, and 2% Spandex. All those come together for a quite comfy pair, something that always finds itself back to the top of the draw much faster than the other pairs. The way they look is also another amazing thing too, the simplicity makes them seem so much more dashing, a definite plus.

Like all the other pairs, I put them through the daily test, and they passed with flying colors. They don’t ride up, they feel uncomfortable at all, and there is great front and rear support. The rear support is something to talk about too. It’s great, it’s really, really comfortable, and if you’re as concerned about the rear support as you are about the front, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. To sum it up, if you’re looking or something different for your drawers, not to mention different for your body, give the Bamboo Punt a try, you won’t be disappointed.

FreshPair.com provided me with this pair of underwear to review.

I have been doing the blog for almost two years. It’s really allowed me the opportunity to try many brands. One of those brands has been Cocksox. And I must say they have become one of my favorite brands out there. I love the fit and the pouch they have created.

I originally wore this pair to an interview, but when I looked down at my dress pants, I realized that this was not a good idea. So, for that day I changed them. You have to remember there is underwear for different occasions and this was not an interview pair. I’m sure they would have looked at me and gone, um, are you serious?

Then I wore these the following day. First, let me say that the color is awesome. It’s not a pastel pink; it’s more of a dark pink. It’s not pair that if someone saw they would think right away PINK! “You are wearing Pink Undies!” To me it’s more of a masculine color, well if pink can be! You may disagree there but the fun factor is really incredible!

We received an email a while back from a reader, John, and he asked we include sizing information in our reviews. Which to me is a great idea and I realized we weren’t doing it. I think sizing is one very important issue that we all face in the world of undies and its important for you to know if the size we received actually fit. Companies vary sizes and sometimes its hard to pick. I will say that for Cocksox that you need to buy a size down. This is the only company I will tell you to do this with. I have bought my size and they can be big. So when in doubt buy smaller. Their sizes also are a little strange for the US market. So double check before you buy and if you ever have questions about sizing send us an email. If we have tried it, we can give you some good advice. We are always here for helping you guys when we can. So don’t be shy!

My overall opinion on these is they are awesome. I love the fit in the pouch and the seat. It will be one of my favorite pairs I already know. So far all I have tried of Cocksox has been amazing.

I was really excited when I got these. Our friends at Fresh Pair sent us a few pairs to review. I have reviewed the trunks about a year ago, but was really excited to add these to my collection. I really loved the Trunks. I was hoping for the same with these. The best thing is they match the blue ones I already have, so I can wear them with what I have! So having them matching is a good thing.

I have recently started my own biz, outside the underwear site, so I do a lot of networking and meeting people. Which it never seems to stop, so I need underwear with incredible support. I don’t want to be adjusting things in the middle of a meeting. So, I wore these to a busy day of networking and running around. I wanted to see how well they would do through out the day.

They really are good pair. They are made to give you support and comfort through out the day. These were a perfect pair to wear. They are made out of really good quality materials. The materials consist of Nylon, Micropolyester and Spandex. These ensure that the fit is great and hold up over time.

A note that they are pricey but in my opinion they are def worth it. Its great support through out your day. So if you are going to be active I would say definitely invest in them. They won’t let you down.

This is my last review of N2N and also one of my favorites.  I love the entire Waistband Collection.  I love the look, the fit, and the feel of the line.  I love how Andrew has taken a very traditional look and turned it into something sexy and different.  Then, he took what can be called one of the worst fitting undies, traditional tighty-whities, available in discount stores, and gave them a fit that holds up and feels incredible.  I love how he also, in this collection, has mixed black with red. It’s a great twist on a traditional line.

Like I said, these have been awesome.  I have enjoyed them and hope to see an expansion on this line.  It first came out in the last N2N collection but they’ve now added the colors.  The materials are awesome and the construction is one of the best in the underwear business.  These are some I would wear at anytime.  They definitely are in my top underwear drawer…part of the heavy rotation undies.

If you have never before tried N2N and you are looking for something somewhat wild, try these for sure.  If you are a fan of N2N and haven’t tried these, round out your collection with a purchase of the Waistband Brief.

I love it when we receive underwear from one of my favorite companies to review.  N2N has come out with great new lines in the last two months.  My review pair for this article is the N2N Freedom Brief.  This is a brief that, at first, caught me off guard.  I was expecting a brief that kept everything close and gave me super support.

I wore these twice before I wrote this review.  The material used to make this brief is very loose fitting.  I know it’s a strange thing to say.  It’s not a thick cotton material, rather a thinner, almost mesh, material.  It fits you well but it isn’t as supportive as I was expecting.  I thought I would hate it at first, but I didn’t.  It turns out that liked it.  I wouldn’t wear it for something active, but a date night would be perfect.  As an added bonus, the colors as awesome in red and blue, being my two favorite colors for undies.

The N2N line is really well made.  I have never had an issue with them and have enjoyed what I’ve received from them over the years.  They are quite creative with their fun and sexy designs.  It’s amazing what they do and are constantly innovating.

It is said that the third time is a charm and so it was with Piss & Vinegar, a brand that really has fun with undies.  You can tell this by their use of colors, patterns, and designs.  It’s great to see a company having such fun.  I don’t think undies should be boring.  They should be an extension of our personality.  All too often, undies are overlooked, but I’m glad we have some awesome readers and we know for the majority of us, this is not the case.

The pair I received was “I Love Buddha.”  I’m not a Buddhist, but the pair goes along with the line including a love for Girls, Boys, and Jesus.  You can proclaim your love to a sex or religion!  I wore these to a party and was glad I did.  It was a warm night and would have otherwise worn either a brief or a jock, but knew I needed to review this brief.  I was hoping for the best.

As the night carried on, I forgot what I was wearing.  With me and boxer briefs, that’s a good thing.  I believed I had worn a brief and it wasn’t till later that I remembered, speaking volumes for the brief and how it fit me.

The fit was awesome.  I couldn’t have been more pleased.  The materials are high quality and moved with me…not restricting.  It was made very well.  I haven’t had any problems with the three pairs I now own.  Those obviously having fun patterns!

I think Piss & Vinegar is going to be a great company and we can expect many things from them!  I can’t wait to see them grow in the world of underwear.  You can find these at the Piss & Vinegar website located at http://www.pissvinegar.com.  These were furnished for review.

I was recently able to try my second pair of underwear from Piss & Vinegar. This brand has majorly impressed me.  I was thinking it would be a regular brand, nothing special.  Boy was I wrong!  It turned out to be a great brand.  I’m not normally a fan of boxer briefs, but luckily, I liked the ones I’m reviewing.  I think this is true because most pairs we review are higher quality than what you would find at a department store.

These boxer briefs featured the black and grey checks.  I really loved the design and thought they were fun while not being over-the-top.  I have undies for occasions.  For example, some days I feel like being conservative while others I feel like going wild.  This pair  would definitely be fitting for a conservative day.

The fitting of the boxer briefs is no less than awesome.  They didn’t ride up on me and drive me crazy as some have done in the past.  The material was a bit stretchy.  After looking at them on the website, I was pre-warned of the 100% cotton material.  It fit me well and I really enjoyed wearing them.  It is very well constructed and I think they will last for a while in your underwear drawer.

Hi guys.  I’m Wayne, and although I spend a lot of time on the site, this is my first time reviewing.  In other words, bear with me!

Recently, I purchased a pair of the Andrew Christian “Show-It” thongs.  I know what some of you are saying right off the bat.  “OMG!  That’s enhancing underwear!”  Why, yes it is.  I work in retail as a department manager, sometimes putting in 13 hours a day.  I need a pair of briefs to provide the right amount of support so I don’t have to make the dreaded “crotch adjustment” in public.  That was my reasoning behind this purchase.

Andrew Christian underwear is made in the good old U.S.A.  Maybe someone at AC likes me, but every time I place an order, even though I pay for the regular USPS ground shipping, someone bucks it up to priority shipping without charging me anything extra.  No complaints here!

These undies are made from 90% cotton and 10% spandex.  The cotton makes them breathable while the spandex provides support in all the right areas.  The waistband is only a mere 1 1/4″ with the “anti-muffin top elastic”.  The designers hit the mark.  Personally, I can’t stand elastic that bunches up or rolls over during the course of the day.

The “show-it” technology incorporates a cotton pouch for your junk.  Slide them on, and with one adjustment, you’re pretty much good to go.  It kept my package in place all day without me having to make the any adjustments.

I’ve worn these underwear two times since receiving them.  They look great and feel just as wonderful (that is, if you’re into wearing a thong, which I can understand if that’s not your style).  I was at work during both times I’ve worn them.  The first time was for only an eight hour shift.  No problems and   comfy all day long.  The second time I wore them, it was for a longer day…a 13 hour shift.

I feel the thong strap could have been cut a bit longer because after many hours, they were becoming a little uncomfortable.  I powered on, however, and made it through the day.  I’d have to say that for a regular day, or a night out on the town, you’ll be fine and comfy the entire time.  Depending on how tight you pull up the thong back, you may want to rethink your choice if you’re going to be wearing them as long as I did.

The retro gym short made by Andrew Christian will leave much to the imagination whether you are running, walking, or working out at the gym.  These are the equivalent to the traditional ‘daisy dukes’.  While these sporty shorts are made out of 100% fast dry moisture wicking polyester sports mesh, which provides a cool masculine look in my humble opinion, they are too short to be taken seriously.  Okay, I totally get the retro style that AC is trying to achieve but honestly, there’s a fine line between looking like a caricature from the movie Bruno and looking masculine.

My first tryout with this sassy pair included wearing the silver/black shorts while outdoors.  The cut is too tight, short, and honestly, look like girl shorts.  In an effort to remain fair and subjective, there are a few things I do like about this style.  First, the white drawstring is located inside the shorts…a real positive for me.  Traditionally drawstrings outside of some shorts are a bit bulky when tied and can be plain distracting at times.  Secondly, the black seam along the side and bottom of the shorts give them a nice contrasting and finished look.

This particular style of Andrew Christian retro shorts comes in light blue/burgundy, navy/kelly, black/gold, and silver/black.  You’ll find the small Andrew Christian woven red and white signature cross logo located in the front left of the shorts.

When I am in the gym, my workouts are serious, tough, and inventive.  I need active fitness wear that is comfortable, non-restrictive, and endurable.  I put Andrew Christians’ Varsity Laurel training shorts to the challenge.

As shown in the picture above, the fabric is sporty, classy, and the white outside trim is enhanced by creative black stitching.  The PHYS ED + 7 Varsity signature adds a unique style to the overall appearance of the training short.  The fit was loose and very comfortable.  I didn’t feel myself sliding when sitting on the exercise equipment.  The smooth jersey material, along with the cool feeling it creates, makes this training short a must for fitness enthusiasts.

Although I prefer an internal drawstring or none at all, the white external shoe lace look gives it an overall finished fitted appearance.  Likewise, the 2 ½ inch gathered waistband adds additional support around the hips. This particular style of Andrew Christian training short comes in white, silver, black, and navy.

For all the Andrew Christian fans out there that appreciate the construction and quality materials in this designer’s clothing, you’re going to really appreciate this mesh tank top.  I think those of us who are diehard AC fans can agree that Andrew is very self-conscious and consistent in areas that permeate across his entire collection.

It’s amazing how a simple and classic fabric like 100% polyester mesh can become a classic material, standing the test of time from both a functionality and stylish perspective.  Perhaps this is what makes the AC 2010 collection so effective as you’ll see mesh used in various categories including tanks, v-neck shirts, shorts, and underwear.  This is clearly a testimate to Andrew’s ability to use simple but classic materials to deliver new concepts and original designs without compromising fashion.

There really isn’t much to say about this tank other than it performs as designed, which is to provide a moisture wicking tank that can handle any rigid and aggressive workout.  From a fashion perspective, this tank is the perfect example of the phrase, “Less is more.”  A simple tank with the signature AC cross and traditional trimming in contrasting fabric around the neck and arms is something we can all appreciate in its simplicity.

The cross mesh tank is also available in silver/black.

Andrew Christian is probably the brand that has a chance to make designer underwear mainstream.  Usually, I really like the brand because it fits and feels great.  This pair looks great, but I did have a few issues with the pouch technology.  Those issues aside, it was a pretty good pair of underwear.  If you love pouch underwear that makes you use the pouch, then you’ll love this pair.

Like usual, the fabric is 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex.  That’s always a good combination.  I really enjoy the piping on the side.  The waistband is also comfortable with the Anti-Muffin technology.

I put these through the daily grind and I was actually a bit disappointed.  I know underwear companies these days keep putting pouches in underwear.  Frankly, I do not know why.  I find them to be terribly annoying and extremely uncomfortable.  I only know of a few companies, or pairs even, that manage to get it right.  If you have the pouch design, you need to make it so that you don’t have to use the pouch if desired.

That being said, it’s still a pretty decent pair of underwear.  Like I said before, if you like the pouch, then you’ll probably love this pair.  If you don’t like the pouch, then you won’t.  It’s all up to the wearer.
