WildmanT furnished the Slut Big Boy Pouch Brief See Through Back for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by WildmanT.

Pros:
A fabulous pouch that feels great
Super sexy design without showing it all off.
Made for the big boys out there who need more room

Cons:
Tag annoyed me some
If you aren’t a fan of mesh, you won’t like this pair

UNB Tim recommendation: If you need more support and room up front, this pair is for you. It’s impressive to see a brand cater to this market. Plus it’s very well made and will be a pair you will want to wear weekly.

WildmanT has gone all in on the Big boy pouch. Meaning he’s gone all in on underwear for a well-endowed guy. Which is an underserved market. Not only is he making underwear, but swimwear as well. I have a few pairs of WildmanT and really love his designs and cuts.

I was having a bad day at work and wanted something to lift my spirits. So, I wore the Slut Big Boy Pouch Brief See Through Back. It def made me feel a lot better. The pouch is amazing! I have the Big Boy mesh brief, and at times it can dig in, this one doesn’t do that at all. You get to hang free and natural. The only thing that got me was that the tag in the back would drive me crazy every so often. But that was really the only downside.

The fabric of the pouch was great. It’s a stretchy fabric that gives you ample support without being too constricting. The sides and back are a 100% see-through nylon mesh that as they say “You got a big one. But that doesn’t mean you can’t show off your backside! ” I, unfortunately, was not blessed in the back, but it’s still super fun to wear,

Sizing for WildmanT is always spot on. I have never heard people say that the sizing was off. Just read the sizing guide and make sure you buy the right size. As usual, if you are on the borderline, think about going up a size.

If you’re a big boy and want to feel sexy, WildmanT is a must for your underwear drawer. You can be guaranteed the pouch will fit you and be super comfy. It fast becomes one of your favorite brands. This pair is going into my steady rotation and be a date night pair for sure!

Pro: Smooth, water wicking material. Bountiful pouch with room in the front. Short legs openings which sit well and do not move while wearing.
A gray checkered flag stripe on the rear that adds depth to the brief and unexpected flair.

Con: Sizing was slightly too big for my waist. Also, while there is an excess amount of space within the pouch, if you don’t fill it all the material
somewhat flops around. I would prefer it to be slightly tighter and form closer to my frame.

Recommendation: I purchased this pair through Box Menswear’s official page during a flash sale in recognition of St. Patrick’s day. Traditionally listed for sale at around $33, I purchased this pair for $20. It was during this purchase that I also took advantage of buying a special “Irish Colors” briefs 3 pack for $20 (This review is upcoming).

Over the past 18 months Box has created and grown an independent fan following, primarily fueled through social media. Their Instagram page is how I was introduced to this company. What I have found most unique and refreshing about this company is how they leverage independent and professional models to represent their products on their personal IG pages and then sharing their work on their site for product reference and promotional purposes. Seeing Box worn and represented on these models
creates an aspirational emotion within buyers and certainly had an effect on my purchase and desire to try the brand.

Now back to the swim brief, since it is not yet summer in the Northeast US (it really needs to happen already!) I wore this pair a few times around the house and also went edgy, wearing this to the local Y to swim laps. Upon first putting it on I observed a rope drawstring which can be manually adjusted to the given waist of the wearer. While I usually prefer this design, I found that the size Small I ordered was slightly too wide for my waistline. It did fit but not as snug as desired. There is an internal lining within the pouch that sits smoothly upon my skin. Also to my surprise, I found a grey checkered pattern in an almost pinstripe on the backside of the brief. I loved this addition! As mentioned in the “pros” section it adds depth and rhythm to the brief instead of merely a plain black swim brief.

The brief is low rise, sitting right above my butt and is designed to make your lower abdominals pop (It is an excellent way to keep giving me ongoing gym motivation.) There is minimal leg coverage, with probably a 1″ rise on the brief. Upon putting the brief onto my body, I overall enjoyed it. It was slightly too wide in the waist, but the material (88% polyamide, 12% spandex) was exceptionally smooth and wicked water from my body with ease. The leg opening did not chafe against my skin while wearing. The stitching was done with quality, and there have been no defects that have emerged after wearing.

With summer almost here, I am very excited to be able to wear this pair more. All in all, if you need a solid swim brief with masculine flair, I would recommend this pair. Wait for sales though as these happen often. To stay in the loop on Box’s products and deals, follow their Instagram page @boxmenswear.

We bought this pair for review, however, the review is the opinion of the reviewer.

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Fit: 9/10
Sizing: 9/10

Pros:
The color is fantastic, the electric blue is fun
The pink waistband is my favorite thing about the pair
Has the amazing Almost Naked Pouch.

Cons:
If you don’t like the pink waistband, you won’t like this pair

I love Andrew Christian Almost Naked pouch. So when I saw the Happy Brief, I knew I had to have it. The electric blue paired with the bright pink waistband, it was a winner in my book. Mix that with the fabric, and I’m a super happy undies guy.

I have been working 12 hour days at the real job, and the blog has been a weekend endeavor. I wanted to wear something super comfy for a 12 hour day. This one didn’t disappoint. I wasn’t doing my normal desk job, but I was a lot more active. So this brief did get a workout.

The fabric felt awesome. It’s a 95% Cotton 5% Spandex blended fabric. The spandex gives it enough stretch to retain its shape throughout the day. It also was very breathable on top fo that. I could see this as a gym pair. Don’t worry they have other colors of waistbands.

I haven’t had too many issues with sizing with AC. You can pretty much go with the sizing chart. I wore an XL, and it wasn’t too tight or too big. Remember if you are on the cusp of the chart always go larger.

The looks drew me to the pair, but the performance will make this one of the regular pairs in my drawer. The pouch lives up to the legacy of the Almost Naked line. If you’re a bit bigger up front or want a fantastic pouch, this is one to check out.

Recommendation: This is a classic cut brief but made with modern fabrics and colors. It’s perfect for a desk job or blue collar job, and even working out. The pouch is, and the colors are super fun.

REVIEW – FITNESS JOCKSTRAP by CHARLIE by MZ
by the Jockstrap Junkie

Rating: 9.8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Daily Fit: 10/10
Sizing: 10/10
Construction: 10/10
Styling: 10/10
Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Silky smooth finish, the pouch is form fitting but has ample stretch, simple color scheme

Cons: Overpriced, double lined pouch doesn’t let jewels breathe well, website claims made in Italy but jockstrap tag shows the country of manufacture to be Bosnia Erzegovina (minor factoid; however, if you’re going to taut something on the website, make sure it’s accurate)

Recommendation: No regrets on this purchase, although the pocketbook squealed a bit. The Charlie Fitness Microfiber Jockstrap is a jock that will be worn regularly from my collection and has a great fit and feel. If you have the extra cash, splurge.

One of the things I’m changing up in my underwear drawer is to try some new brands in 2019. Charlie by MZ is a brand that I”m brand new to and thought Charlie would be a brand to start broadening my underwear horizons. I purchased the Fitness Jockstrap Black Microfiber, and was a bit anxious about the purchase as $38 is the most I’ve ever paid for a jockstrap but also really wanting to try something new.

To give the Charlie jockstrap a proper review, I did put this jockstrap into the weekly rotation for the past eight weeks. The Charlie jockstrap experienced sleep, cardio, lifting, daily wear, and just lounging around. Microfiber/Spandex construction has a fantastic feel as it’s very smooth and the pouch has a nice snug feel, but the spandex gives some nice stretch when necessary. Double layered microfiber pouches don’t breathe well, which is why I don’t recommend wearing it for cardio; unless, you want the jewels to be soggy from sweat. However, I did like this jock for lifting, making sure it was worn on at least one leg day. One of the nice attributes to the microfiber pouch is that the jewels don’t flop around, but don’t feel constrained either.

As mentioned before, this Charlie jockstrap has a double lined, center seam, microfiber pouch with a composition of 90% nylon and 10% spandex. The waistband is 1-5/8” wide, and the leg straps are 3/4” wide. The leg straps and waistband don’t roll, which is always a positive and the leg straps don’t dig into your ass. I would classify this as a traditional cut where the leg straps on the side of the hips. The construction is excellent, and I put it on par with C-IN2, aussieBum, and Pump.

I purchased a Large which corresponds accurately in Charlie’s size chart, and it fits perfect. Since this is my first Charlie purchase, I don’t have any basis for consistency in their sizing like I do in other brands. Over the two months of wear, no stretching or deforming, and that’s a positive.

Although I rated the Charlie jockstrap with a 9.8 rating, I’m mixed on a full recommendation for this jockstrap. Purely on the quality aspects, it performs as advertised; however, the price is too high when compared to other brands. So, if you have $38 to spend, by all means, get the Charlie by MZ Microfiber Jockstrap; if your budget doesn’t allow for the splurge, catch some sales of several of the other mainline brands, and you’ll be equally satisfied.

PAIR: Charlie by MZ Fitness Microfiber Jockstrap

Rating: 10/10

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Pouch lift, athletic styling, colors

Cons: Not a problem for me, but well endowed guys will find the pouch is a bit small and may have a challenging stuffing the sausage & meatballs in them; also, with a double lined cotton pouch, you will have sweaty balls after a workout.

Recommendation: the aussieBum WonderJock Pro (WJ Pro) is a great add to anyone’s collection for price, style, fit, and function. It says a lot when I ‘the Jockstrap Junkie’ goes back for repeat purchase instead of just moving on to the next brand/style. Hopefully, aussieBum never retires the WJ Pro!

I purchased my first WJ Pro in February of 2016 and still wear them today. The elastic is finally wearing out on the legstraps, so I just bought a coupler more of the WJ Pro to replenish. I’ve been an aussieBum customer for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed aussieBum’s products with only a few misses (I’ll review the Tonka Jockstrap another time). To say I have a history with aussieBum is an understatement as my collection includes aussieBum’s WJ Air, Lasher, Flashr, Samurai, Enlarge It, and Hunk jockstraps. I was a bit skeptical on the enhancement feature; however it’s proven to be a functional asset for me.

Because I’ve been wearing the WJ Pro for several years, I’ve had the opportunity to wear these jockstraps for sleeping, daily wear, lifting, throwing, cardio, and lounging around. The aussieBum WJ Pro is a great all around jockstrap. One of the great benefits of the ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ is when I’m on the rowing machine as it keeps the sausage & meatballs out of the way of my thighs. Nobody likes flattened meatballs, or they would have ordered a hamburger.

A composition of 90% cotton and 10% spandex make the WJ Pro. The waistband has a nice width of 1-1/2” and the legstraps have a width of 1-1/4”. The legstraps attach to the waistband in the traditional positions and I would consider this to be a low rise on the hips and front. The pouch’s ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology’ & ‘Free Swing Boost’ make for an interesting fit as everything is contained snugly, but also pronounced out front. For those not familiar with ‘Pouch Enhancing Technology, it’s simply a fabric gusset going horizontally in the interior of the pouch where one places his sausage & meatballs over the gusset into the pouch for a lifting effect. The construction quality is also top notch with the pouch being double stitched and the center seam in the pouch is smooth.

Large is the size I purchased and is the norm for me in aussieBum jockstraps which I find their size chart runs on point for their jockstraps. Other styles in aussieBum I switch it up between large and extra-large and that’s due to thigh size, not waist.

aussieBum is a staple in my jockstrap drawer and I highly recommend trying out aussieBum, especially their WJ Pro jockstraps. The WJ Pro and its cousin the WJ Air are worth the add to your collection. They’re fun, stylish, but still have that athletic look & feel. Plus, they make my sausage look a little plumper!

PAIR: aussieBum WonderJock pro

FABRIC: 90% Cotton; 10% Spandex

  •  Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  •  Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Vivid colors, great design and build quality, great compression and shape.

Cons: Pretty tight ankle so they can be difficult to put on sometimes. The crotch sagged slightly but I probably just needed a bigger pair so I could pull them up a little more. Sizing is a challenge.

UNB Jacob recommendation: I love the brand because it is LGBT-owned, and adore the product. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for mens tights but would be hesitant to recommend these to anyone on the thicker side.

As a personal trainer, I’m in the gym every single day, so being able to mix up my gym apparel and get away from my usual gym shorts and tank has been great. I’ve been looking forward to reviewing this brand for a while because they really are gorgeous products made by a queer-owned fitness brand. I received the LED Queens Rocket Compression Tights to review, their first compression product that uses a unique nylon/spandex blend to provide a high shine appearance.

The Rocket compression tight is just as “freeing” as most tights, while efficiently wicking away body heat. I mostly used them to workout in and on leg day they’re pretty flattering with a leg/butt pump. I wore them under shorts while I wasn’t at the gym and still received a lot of compliments on the really pretty stripe along the side.

The quality of construction and design is outstanding; comparable to Nike and Lululemon pairs that I’ve worn before. They don’t chafe and the stitching is strong and durable. The colorsand overall quality of the fabric is also something I love about the pair as they’re very vivid and shiny.

Overall LED Queens does really well with sizing and fit; this specific pair can be difficult to size though. The legs are pretty slim and while I don’t have particularly big legs, the size I would order based off of my waist size (28”, so small) would not come close to fitting because I almost need a large. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, just something to be aware of when ordering.

Overall I love the brand because it is LGBT-owned, and adore the product. I would highly recommend the for anyone looking for mens tights, but would be hesitant to recommend these to anyone on the thicker side.

I discovered this brand on social media (Twitter: @skinfit_mexico; Instagram: @skinfit.mexico) and just had to try their products.  They sell a wide variety of products:  underwear, swimwear, and sport/gym wear (singlet, tights, etc.).  SkinFit is a Mexican company that was established in 2017 whose mission is to provide “Sportswear and Underwear for the current man with satisfaction guarantee”.

I will be reviewing both the Tanga Skin and the Tanga Bulge styles.

WHERE TO BUY: SkinFit

Rating: 9.4 / 10

  • Daily Fit: 9 / 10
  • Sizing: 7 / 10
  • Construction: 10 / 10
  • Styling: 10 / 10
  • Daily Performance: 10 / 10

Pros:

  • Many color options to choose from.
  • Choose your pouch style.  The pairs are essentially the same otherwise.
  • Shiny and stretchy lycra material that is very comfortable and supportive.
  • Marketed as underwear, but can easily be worn as swimwear.

Cons:

  • Made to order, so takes a little longer to arrive.
  • Unconventional sizing, which runs a little tight.

Recommendation: Highly recommended, especially if you love Joe Snyder.  If you’re at the upper end of a size range, consider ordering the larger size.

Commentary:

I bought the Tanga Skin style in purple and burgundy and the Tanga Bulge style in royal blue and emerald green. My waist size is 33-34 and I normally wear a size medium in most brands, but I followed the size guidelines and ordered large.

I placed my order December 22ndand they arrived January 15th.  I was quite surprised they arrived so soon as they are made to order and ship from Mexico (via FedEx).  I’ve had domestic, stock-based orders take longer to arrive!  Upon opening the package, I was very excited to try them on. The colors were vibrant.  The fabric reminded me of my favorite speedos. When I slipped the first pair on for the first time, I was not disappointed.  The only issue I have is they’re a little snug at the hips.  This, along with the unconventional sizing ranges, is the reason for the Sizing rating of 7 above.  I probably should have gone with the extra large and will consider that for future orders.

I have worn all four pairs for a variety of activities: work, gym, tennis match, lounging around, out and about with friends, etc.  Having just finished my #yearofthethong in 2018, I have a pretty good idea of what I like and don’t like about a thong.  Try wearing one every day for a year and not form strong opinions!  Tim will say I already had strong opinions, and he would be right!  😊

After slipping them on, I was immediately reminded of Joe Snyder, including the snugness.  The quality is just as high.  The material, I feel, is a little thicker without feeling stiff. It’s very stretchy and comfortable. I easily wore them all day, no matter what activities I had planned.  Even though they were a little snug, I didn’t experience the dreaded discomfort at my tailbone that I get when a pair is too tight (*ahem* N2N recent swimwear styles *ahem*).

The construction is fantastic! The side straps are about ¾” thick giving it a skimpier, sexy look than many thong styles on the market.  The back strap (between your cheeks) is about 1”, which is on the upper end of the comfortable range.  The seams are virtually unnoticeable.  I hate when a pouches center seam rubs against my package all day, or I can feel where the pouch attaches to the back strap at the taint.

These styles are listed under their Underwear collection, but they can easily be worn as swimwear as well. They’re unlined, so the lighter colors will likely be somewhat see-thru when wet (if this is your desired effect, go for it!).  I plan to give these a try at the pool, beach, or boat this summer!

The only difference between these two styles is the pouch.  The Tanga Skin has what I would consider a traditional thong pouch – similar to the Thong 03 style from Joe Snyder.  The material is stretchy enough that your goodies aren’t smooshed all day, and you can easily wear them pointing up or down.  The Tanga Bulge has more of a bulgy, roomier pouch – similar to the Bulge Thong 02 style from Joe Snyder.  The larger pouch, along with the stretchy material, ensure that your goodies are kept pushed forward and comfortable all day long.  With this style (and most other bulge styles), you’re better off pointing down.  I did notice that the bulge pouch also causes the front to have a lower rise, probably a full inch of difference between the two.

I will most definitely be adding more of both styles to my (ever growing….and maybe out of control) collection in the near future!

Tanga Skin and the Tanga Bulge

The Go Softwear AJ Team Singlet was bought for review. All opinions are that of the reviewer.

Rating: 9/10

  • Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Fabric: 8/10

Pros:
Singlet has a traditional cut/design
The blue and red are the perfect color combo
It’s made of a mesh that takes the design to a new sexy level

Cons:
The mesh may be too bold for some guys.
It doesn’t have the same give/stretch of spandex.
If tall it may be tight in the shoulders

Recommendation: If you love sexy singlets this one is for you. You can wear it under jeans for a night out or alone for a night in. The mesh isn’t as see through as I thought. It’s perfect for guys wanting to venture into the erotic world of singlets.

Go Softwear makes some awesome singlets. They have been one of my go-to brands for singlets. I have several from them and always super happy with them. The last one I reviewed was the AJ Team Wrestler is one of my new favorites. This made me super excited to try this one that was mesh.

Where do you wear a singlet? In my past its either out for a gear night or a night in for some, well fun. Since I wasn’t having either of those while wearing this one I just wore it around the house. Unlike the Wrestler singlet it was a little harder to get on. This is due to the fabric not being the nylon/spandex blend. It’s not as stretchy as the Wrestler. But it wasn’t super uncomfy. It just took me a few minutes to get on. After it was on only a few things reminded me the shoulder straps were tight. But it wasn’t too bad.

Go Softwear makes amazing singlets. They are always well designed and constructed. I have never had an issue with the quality of Go Softwear. They have always met or exceeded my expectations. This one is made out of an 88% Polyester 12% Spandex blend. I will say my favorite is a nylon spandex blend. But this one is just as good I think.

Sizing for singlets is always hard to tell. It’s not like underwear where you can focus on waist size. If you’re 6’4″ and 180 you may not be a medium. You have to take into account height. At first, it’s a guessing game, and you have to experiment. After a few times, you should see what size fits you. I got an XL, and it fits me well.

If you want a super fun singlet put the GO Softwear AJ Team Singlet in your line up. It’s fun and sexy without being over the top. Where can you wear it? I’ll leave that up to you and your imagination. That’s up to individuals to figure out where and when is best to wear a singlet.

PAIR: Go Softwear AJ Team Singlet

  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 9/10 (I’m rating this on quality of construction, not fit)
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 3/10

Pros: Styling is sharp and clean, legstraps fit well, visually appealing

Cons: THE POUCH IS TOO EFFING SMALL!!

Recommendation: I was disappointed in the purchase, I don’t recommend purchasing this jockstrap.

I purchased three jocks from 10SevenUnderwear.com which were the three color options offered, the black, yellow, and green. One of the main reasons for my purchase was the appearance. The color scheme has an athletic look to them, which is a feature I like in jockstraps and underwear in general. Not very many jocks offer wide legstraps, so I was wanting to try something a little different. This was my only purchase from 10Seven, and it was my first introduction to their underwear. Because of the appearance and styling of these jockstraps, I was really excited when they arrived; however my opinion changed after wearing and I will go into detail a bit later in this review.

My initiation of these jocks were the usual functions: lifting, errands, work, daily wear, even cardio. I probably gave each jock a half dozen tries as I really wanted to like them, however, the pouch never gave in and the sausage & meatballs felt more like minced meat. My theory on keeping at it was to see if the pouch would eventually give a bit, but no dice. Waistband and legstraps performed very well.

10Seven Sport Jocks have a material composition containing 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. Waistband is 2” wide and legstraps are 1-1/8”. Cut is a traditional cut with the legstraps connecting to the waistband at the side of the hips. From a structural perspective, these jockstraps are built really well. I like the legstraps as they didn’t fold or twist, the waistband fit well and didn’t roll. Even the pouch construction is good, just NO EFFING ROOM FOR THE SAUSAGE & MEATBALLS!!. My goal is not be become a countertenor.

All three jocks were a size large (L) and unfortunately, the 10Seven website doesn’t have a size chart readily available. I usually wear a 33” waist in jeans, so I went with the norm of Large. This was a good guess in terms of the waistband sizing. Currently, the 10Seven website has a disclaimer for the ‘Sport Jock’ reading “PLEASE NOTE: THE SPORT JOCK RUNS A SIZE SMALL. PLEASE BE SURE TO ORDER A SIZE LARGER THAN YOU WOULD NORMALLY WEAR TO ENSURE COMFORT.“ So, if you do purchase from 10Seven, keep the disclaimer in mind. Again, I struggled and didn’t find a sizing chart.

Now for the heartbreak, I gave up on the 10Seven jockstraps and threw them out. I REALLY wanted to like these jockstraps; however, I’m not willing to sacrifice the sausage & meatballs for fashion. Ironically, the 10Seven brand is supposedly designed by Rocco Steele, a porn star with an advertised endowment of 10” long x 7” girth. Makes me wonder how Rocco keeps everything contained. Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose; in this instance I lost.

Pros: Legstraps don’t fold or twist, waistband doesn’t roll, the pouch is supportive and roomy, color scheme

Cons: Runs a bit small, I’m convinced most clothing designers use tape measures that are calibrated differently.

Recommendation: I made three separate purchases in 2018 that included the C-Theory jockstrap in different colors. After my first two in June, I added a few more. By making repeat purchases, definitely makes this jock hard to not recommend, so…get it!

I’ve worn C-IN2 underwear since C-IN2’s debut in 2005 and worn a lot of different styles from them. Mostly, I’ve been a satisfied customer of C-IN2; which, is why I have kept returning to the brand. Over the years, there have been a handful of styles that didn’t work well for me, but this goes to the factor of C-IN2 cannot make every style for every body type. Now, let’s get to the good part, the review. The best way to describe the styling of the C-Theory jockstrap is taking old Bike jockstrap and upgrading it to 2019 styling. The waistband has a nice, blocked color scheme with a bold, contrasting stripe at the bottom of the waistband and the C-IN2 logo reverse printing into the stripe. If you like a large logo on the waistband, C-IN2 didn’t disappoint as the logo takes up almost the entire 2-½” height of the waistband and the logo is centered on the front & not repeated. Of the 16 color combinations offered, I purchased five of them and C-IN2 didn’t fail me on these jockstraps.

I purchased my first two in June of 2018. Immediately, the C-Theory jockstraps made it into my rotation of underwear with a C-Theory jock getting worn at least once a week. These are a great all-around jocks for everyday wear including routine tasks of mowing the lawn, lifting weights, cardio, and even lounging around. As stated above, the waistbands don’t roll, which is good for those of us with the ever popular ‘dad bod’. Great feel as the pouch has just enough support but also roomy for the boys. Another benefit of the single-ply pouch is breathability, in which I tested several times over the summer doing yard work in the humid Great Lakes region.

The cut of the C-Theory jock is similar to the old Bike No. 10 jockstrap with a 2-½” waistband and ¾” leg straps that attach at the side of the hips. Pouch material is 97% cotton & 3% Spandex, features a knitted, single layer with a center seam. Stitching is well done and smooth where the leg straps attach to the waistband, and the leg strap seams don’t dig into your hips like some jockstraps with lesser quality legs straps do. One requirement I have in a jockstrap is that the leg straps don’t cut into my glutes, which the C-Theory jock did not.

Large is the size I purchased which fits well. I normally wear a 33”-34” in my jeans which I like to sit on my hips to give you a general sizing perspective. With C-IN2’s sizing, if you’re in doubt, purchase a size larger as I feel C-IN2 runs a hair small.

If you’re a fan of the old Bike jockstraps, I think you’ll be a fan of the C-IN2 C-Theory Jock as the styling is a nice update to an old classic. I’m glad I added these five jocks to my collection and will be a good addition to yours.

This singlet from Andrew Christian was purchased. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Andrew Christian.

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Fit: 7/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 10/10

  • Fabric: 9/10

Pros: The print is freaking amazing, I mean Unicorns. It’s a low cut singlet. Has an amazing pouch.

Cons: legs could use a little more room. Being tall it was a bit tight on the shoulders. The print could turn guys off or the pouch may be too pouchy (but not for me).

Recommendation: If you love fun singlets this is a must (if it’s still for sale on the site). These are pretty much limited edition and go fast. But note that the style is made into other singlets. If you can’t get the unicorn you can get another in this form soon

Andrew Christian is no stranger to the world of singlets. When I was going through the site and saw the unicorn print I had to have this one! I mean it has unicorns on it! What is not to like about it!!! This is one of the more traditional singlets that Andrew Christian makes.

This was a pair I wore around the house one day. I mean there are only so many places you can wear a singlet, well outside of the bedroom. I usually use them to hang out in or keep me warm in cold weather. However, I have had friend mention doing a singlet game night. More on that if it happens.

Lately, I have been having the tall curse when it comes to singlet. Being 6’4″ the straps get a bit tight. This isn’t a design limitation more of they can’t make singlets to fit all heights and I”m on the upper end of the tall scale. But luckily it wasn’t too bad. The only other issue is if you have bigger thighs you may have an issue with the leg openings being a bit tight. I had this as well. But the print I keep coming back too. It made me smile as I wore it.

Sizing for singlets are a bit tricky. It’s not solely based on waist size. You have to think of a lot more issues. You may have a medium waist but be taller and need to go a size up. It takes a bit of trial and error when shopping. Taller guys may have issues. My two issues are above but waist wise the pair fit great

I LOVE this pair so much. The print, yes I am a bit obscessed and hope to see a lot more of these fun prints from Andrew Christian.

LED Queens has furbished the Rocket Compression Tights for review. All opinions of the review are my own and not influenced by LED Queens.

Rating: 9.5/10

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 10/10Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Vivid colors, great design and build quality, great compression and shape.

Cons: Pretty tight ankle so they can be difficult to put on sometimes. The crotch sagged slightly but I probably just needed a bigger pair so I could pull them up a little more. Sizing is a challenge.

UNB Jacob recommendation: I love the brand because it is LGBT-owned, and adore the product. I would highly recommend the for anyone looking for mens tights, but would be hesitant to recommend these to anyone on the thicker side.

We have a very special review by the Jockstrap Junkie. This is a review he submitte for the PUMP! White Free-Fit Jockstrap.

Rating: 10/10

Daily Fit: 10/10

Sizing: 10/10

Construction: 10/10

Styling: 10/10

Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Colors and styling, pouch support, legstraps fit

Cons: Double layer pouch for cardio

Recommendation: Definitely one of the jockstraps I’m wearing on a regular basis. Great support for your bits & pieces and holds shape all day. If you like jockstraps, the Pump Free-Fit series of jockstraps is worth the addition to your underwear drawer.

Pump’s White Free-Fit Jockstrap is one of many Pump jockstraps that I own. I’ve had good experiences with Pump jockstraps over the years and appreciate their styling. Over the years, I’ve found that Pump’s sizing is getting more accurate and consistent with their jockstraps. I return to Pump as their quality is top notch as I’ve had some issues with other brands’ legstraps coming unattached due to poor workmanship.

This jockstrap got a full day’s wearing which included Pilates, errands, chores around the house, and a nap. No issues with the jockstrap not holding form thru the entire day and the legstraps didn’t dig into my butt and remained comfortable all day. I wouldn’t recommend this jockstrap for cardio days due to the double layered pouch not having a lot of ventilation; however, I’ve worn it while lifting and this jock performs very well for lifting.

Color scheme is a white pouch with contrasting black piping, black legstraps, and 1-1/2” waistband with contrasting white stripes and logo on a black background. Pouch has center seam, a double layer which is cotton lined with a mesh outer layer. There is room in the pouch and the pouch has great support for your bits & pieces. Legstraps are 1” black elastic and don’t cut into my legs. The cut of this jockstrap is traditional with legstraps connecting at the side.

I purchased a large which fit perfectly, which is consistent with the several Pump jockstraps I own. On jockstraps, their sizing is accurate; however, I have a pair of Pump briefs that the sizing runs small.

Aside from the lack of ventilation during cardio, this is a great jock. The Free-Fit Jock is in my regular rotation of jockstraps as is performs beautifully. You won’t be disappointed in having this jock in your collection.

N2N Bodywear Power lifter singlet was not furnished for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Gruff Pup.

Rating: 8.8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Fit: 7/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Fabric:9/10

Pros: the cut of this singlet is pretty awesome. It has very classic styling. It’s super sexy design

Cons: Being tall it sorta felt constricting. Tall guys may have issues. They are limited editon and not sure if you will find them on the site.

Hi, my name in UNB Tim and I am a singlet addict. I have probably 15 N2N Bodywear singlets. They make some of my all time favorite singlets. So when I got these I was super excited! These singlets are super limited edition.

I think one of the reasons this didn’t fit as well as others is I wore it under my clothes to an Xmas party. I think had it just been a singlet event (aka hang out at home) it would have fit better. I”m going to give it another go but have been sick since that night. BLEH, a winter cold that won’g go aweay.

This design is super fun. It’s a mix of classic and sexy. I personally love the more classic cut one. The fabric is great and fun. The navy blue with the white trim is totally a classic color combo. One of my all time favorite ones I have ever owned was a real singlet in this color combo.

If you can get this one still check it out. You can’t really go wrong with an N2N Singlet. BTW I’m still writing this on cold meds so I hope it makes sense.

Pros: Style, Fit, Sizing

Cons: Tag construction/material

Tim recommendation: My overall impression of the Timeless Trunk by Sean Alexander is excellent.  It is a comfortable, stylish pair that performs well and fits great.

This is my first experience and review of the Sean Alexander brand.  I am excited about this review because my daily underwear of choice is the trunk. I find them the most comfortable for my active lifestyle. I am also excited that Sean Alexander donates a pair to charity for each pair purchased.

In testing this trunk, I wore it for my work as a massage therapist and personal trainer as well as my fitness routine and general activities of day to day life.  The pair is quite comfortable for my active lifestyle.  I will be adding this pair into my daily underwear rotation.

The trunks are made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex. Both the main fabric and the waistband are very comfortable.  The construction is excellent, and the pair seems very well made.  The construction includes a nice pouch in the front that gives plenty of room and adds to the comfort of daily wear. The only negative aspect is the material and/or construction of the sewn in label.  The material seems a little harder and the corners tend to be poky and can rub the skin where the tag rests on the hip/low back. This might be resolved with washing and the use of fabric softener.

I received a size medium and it fits me perfectly.  The band is snug and comfortable.  The leg openings are also well fit. Since this is my first experience with this brand, I have no basis for comparison on sizing for other garments from this designer.

Overall, I really like this pair of trunks.  The quality, comfort, and style are superb. They fit well and perform fantastically for daily wear.  I would recommend this brand and pair to others.  I also love that the designer gives back to charity.

Andrew Christian furnished the Disco Brief for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Andrew Christian.

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros:

  • LOVE the print and metallic fabric
  • The waistband is over the top, which is a good thing
  • It’s made to show off to others

Cons:

  • The brief fabric may be too much
  • The waistband is over the top

UNB Tim recommendation: If you’re looking for a super fun pair of underwear the Disco Brief is it. It’s a little over the top and makes you feel good wearing it. If you want to make a bold statement this is the brief. Also, if you’re wearing it to an underwear party or a night out this could be the perfect bling pair. If you don’t like over the top undies, this pair isn’t for you.

After a few regular pairs of Andrew Christian, I decided to step things up and wear something fun. I got the Disco Brief. Which is a brief with a metallic color that looks like little disco mirrors on the briefs. It’s definitely not one you would wear to work, it’s more of a club pair. However, I rocked these to work one day.

I’m not exactly sure why I wore these to work. I guess it was one of those days where I said fuck it, let’s do something fun. Work has been rough and I figured something fun would at least make me feel good wearing it. As I stated above this is more of a club pair. Why? Because it’s one that is made to be seen. The metallic color mixed with the “over the top” waistband that is perfect for this pair. I mean come on, you need some silver/metallic on the band.

I was really worried about the fabric. Sometimes fabric like this doesn’t have a lot of give or stretch. This pair while a little stiffer than most pairs I have from AC. Wasn’t super tight and uncomfortable. It has a great pouch that was very supportive. The only downside was the legs were a bit tight. This has happened over the years from some pairs of years. It’s usually just the leg openings.

As I mentioned above the legs were tight and it was a little snug. After wearing the pair for a few hours it didn’t bother me. In fact, by lunch, I forgot I was wearing them. I just wish the pair had a bit bigger leg openings. While not a deal breaker it did detract a little.

If you want something fun to wear this is the pair. Especially if you are at a venue or event where you can show off the undies. Either without pants or over the top of a pair of jeans. I guarantee you will get noticed big time.

UNB bought the Gruff Pup IMPULSE SINGLET for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Gruff Pup.

Rating: 8.8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Fabric: 10/10

Pros:

  1. Very well made
  2. Will show off your booty and crotch nicely
  3. The fabric has an excellent feel to it

Cons:

  1. While the length was perfect for my body height, I found the thigh areas to be very restraining

Recommendation:

This is my first time wearing gear from Gruff Pup, and wearing a singlet that is made from Polyamide/Spandex as my previous singlets are made from Polyester/Spandex. This is also a different style of singlet than what I’m used to wearing as I’m used to the traditional high school/college wrestling singlet.

While I did not have the opportunity to wear it out to gear night at any of the local bars or clubs, I did wear it around the house during housework and projects. I also wore it once out in public under a T-Shirt and sweatpants. This singlet can definitely be worn either at a gear night or just around the house.

This is my first piece of gear that was made out of this fabric. I really was surprised at how much I really liked both how the fabric felt on me, and how it actually looked. The construction of the singlet is very strong; it’s not cheaply done as you will see in the next paragraph. The fabric and stitching will stand up to a good amount of wear and tear. As someone who cherishes his gear, I can tell you that this singlet will be put to great use and I’m not worried it’s going to fall apart anytime soon.

As a bigger guy, I got the XL size. I found the straps to perfect length for me (5’10”.) As I was neither worried that I was pulling the fabric too much nor that it was too lose and looked sloppy on me. The problem I did have came from having very thick thighs. I found the elastic around the thighs to be very tight, almost uncomfortable. While the models in the pictures show them as a short boxer briefs type, I wore them as briefs. This made the singlet more comfortable. I will say though, the fabric held up well around my thick thighs. The fabric also stretched properly around my large booty.

I would recommend this singlet, but with caution that those who are a bit bigger and have big thighs will need to be ready to compromise a bit with wearing the legs as briefs. The sizes are S-XL with XL being 36-39. Like any gear, if you take care of it, it will take care of you, and I believe this singlet will hold up for a good long with normal to high usage. This singlet will definitely show off your booty and crotch area, and I believe would be great for a night at gear night, or just wearing it around the house playing video games, or doing housework. This singlet will remain in my collection and rotation.

Skiviez provided the Kyle KLI014 Bikini in Green for review in a size medium.

Rating: 6.6/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 6/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 7/10
  • Styling: 6/10
  • Daily Performance: 6/10

Pros:

  • Low slung bikini design
  • So lightweight you can barely tell you’re wearing anything
  • I love the green color

Cons:

  • It has a limited color pallet available…
  • Pouch is a bit oversized in my opinion

UNB Ryan’s recommendation:I am usually hesitant to try out a new style of underwear, but writing for the UNB blog has challenged me to change that.  I will always love thongs, and will not likely convert to bikinis or jocks but am at least willing to give them a try or put one in my rotation from time to time. I thoroughly enjoyed wearing this underwear in preparation for the review, and my wife even complimented me on them!  A new cut can be fun every now and then, and this color is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face!

This was my first experience with Kyle underwear, and I can’t wait to try another pair!  Today I am reviewing the Kyle KLI014 Bikini in Green provided by Skiviez.  This suit is a well-constructed bikini, and it was a welcome change from my normal thong underwear.  The only thing I wasn’t in love with was the pouch, which I found myself constantly adjusting due to it being much roomier than I am accustomed to.  I simply prefer the bulge pouches because they tend to hold everything in place for me with minimal adjustments needed. The fabric of this bikini was comfortable, stretchy, and felt really nice against my skin. I definitely recommend that you give Kyle underwear a try.  They offer a wide range of underwear, and anyone should be able to find a style and color combination that suits them.

I have only worn this pair of underwear one time, on a day-long outing with my wife.  We were in and out of stores while running errands and I was pleased with how they felt wearing all day long.  This pair features a simple flat front pouch with plenty of room for most guys.  The striking green color featured in this pair is my favorite feature.  I’m usually a fan of the brighter colors, but this one is just different!  Maybe it’s because I don’t have anything else in green, but I am in love with the color, and my wife likes it too!  This pair features a traditional bikini cut and bottom.  I’m sure you could wear this pair around anyone without any question or discerning looks.  There is a small mesh panel insert on the front, but nothing too extreme, and it is in the same green as the rest of the pair, so it blends in nicely.  The only other design feature to point out is the small logo on the rear.

The construction of this bikini is on par with most industry standards for men’s underwear.  They feature a small dart pouch to help align everything and a full bottom that frames your cheeks quite well.  I have to admit, I actually liked wearing the more conservatively cut bikini for a change (I know right!) The strong lines of the bikini paired with the exceptional color helped to keep my attention the whole time I had them on.

Kyle Underwear has proven to be a very well constructed pair of bikini briefs in my opinion.  The stitching is strong, yet unnoticeable while wearing, the elastic keeps the lines in place while hugging your curves, and the accents are stylish but very minimalist.  I think that these bikini underwear could be worn under anything, in about any situation, and would perform flawlessly.  These are also styled fairly conservatively but would surely be enticing once your partner sees you in them!

I’m not familiar with Kyle underwear and this was the first pair I have ever tried on.  I received a medium, which is a size up from my normal small.  Based on what I can only guess, the medium seems like they fit like a typical medium.  If I were to buy a pair on my own, it would definitely be in a size small.  I liked the way this pair fit with the exception of the pouch, which for me didn’t fit snugly enough to keep everything in place.

In conclusion, I have been pleasantly surprised with this pair and will look more into Kyle Underwear and their underwear line.  More color offerings and different pouch styles would definitely drive me to try out a few different styles from this manufacturer. They are also offering tremendous savings on most of their styles. You should be able to pick up these for a price comparable to most department store offerings.  Give Kyle Underwear a try and let us know in the comments below what you think.  You can also send me a message or question directly on Instagram or Twitter @unb_ryan. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

UNB brought the Ergowear Max Modal Bikini. It was not furnished as part of a review. All opinions of the review are my own and not influenced by any brand.

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling:9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

  • Amazing bright colors in the pink and yellow
  • Has an anatomical pouch that will give you all the support you need
  • High cut sides will give you a great range of motion

Cons:

  • Some may not like the bright colors, never fear they come in more traditional colors
  • The cut maybe skimpy to some , they have trunks in the line as well.

UNB Tim recommendation: If you work out or just love amazing pouches this pair is for you. The modal makes it breathable and wicks moisture. The bright colors are super fun to me and you will love wearing it all day long. Check it out!

I love the Ergowear bikinis. Granted they aren’t the official definition of a bikini but more of a tanga. They fit great and give you a wide range of motion. On top of that the Max pouch is one of the best on the market (that’s just my expert opinion). So I was excited to try the new color. The pink was sold out so I got the lemon pair.

My life has been crazy with work, UNB and a few other things. So underwear really has been key to my day. I have a few old pairs that have lost the elastic and drive me crazy so I decided to buy some favorites and review them and replace what wasn’t working. Ergowear is a brand that knows how to make underwear. No matter what I did in this pair it felt great. Being a bigger guy I get a bit self conscious in bikinis. But more and more lately I’m saying fuck it and just wearing it. I love this cut and I feel great wearing it so, I bought it. I really liked the fit.

Ergowear is on top of it with fabric and construction. The fabric is Modal: 90% Viscose, 10% Spandex. It felt great through the day but after wearing the Max Mesh Jock a week earlier I wanted the pouch a bit tighter. The Max Mesh collection pouch is “prefect”. I think this one wasn’t as tight due to the modal material. If I had worn this one before the Max Mesh I don’t think I would have noticed it.

Sizing is rarely an issue. I need to double check but they used to have an amazing size chart that when you gave your size it told you buy what ever size and if you were on the upper end of the size chart it would recommend going up a size. These fit very well and I will def wear them again and again.

I love Ergowear and they can do no wrong in undies. If you love great fabrics and amazing pouches you have to look no further than this brand. They have pouches in all pairs from boxer briefs to thongs. You will not be disappointed at all!

Andrew Christian furnished the Unicorn Rainbow Brief for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by any brand.

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 8/10
  • Styling: 8/10
  • Daily Performance: 8/10

Pros:

  • Made with the Almost Naked Pouch!!
  • Super fun whimsical print
  • Amazingly soft material

Cons:

  • Some guys may not like the print, it maybe too cartoonish for them
  • The waistband is for waistband lovers
  • I”m not sure it’s a gym pair.

UNB Tim recommendation: If you want a pair that’s super fun and over the top this is it. It’s made with one of my favorite pouches. If you like super fun undies this is for you, if you don’t you may want to skip it but I think it’s AMAZING

Andrew Christian has been making some super fun pairs lately. One that I had my eye on was the Rainbow Unicorn Brief. So when we got to review it, I was super happy about it. I have really enjoyed the Almost Naked line for a few years and love to see it come in amazing prints. This one is one of the best. I mean rainbows and unicorns!!!!

I wore this pair to work. I felt I needed something super fun one day. It was going to be a stressful day and wearing unicorns would make the day better. Well that, the fabric and Almost Naked pouch. The fabric in the new lines they have been releasing have been amazing. It’s super soft and breathes throughout the day. Match that with an amazing pouch and it’s a pretty good pair.

The sizing with AC is pretty consistant. The biggest problem I have had with them over the years is the leg openings. If you have bigger thighs, they can be super tight depending on the pair. This has happened to me in the past. Luckily, this pair didn’t have that issue.

One bonus to this pair is the waistband. The band is black with silver AC name written in it. I mean come on, unicorns without silver!! It’s pretty much a no brainer and one of the reasons I like this pair!! It’s over the top with the print so go ahead and push it over as far as you can go!!!

UNB bought the Ergowear Max Mesh Jock for review, it was not furnished for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by any brand. .

Rating: 10/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros:

  • The max pouch is amazing in support and fit
  • The mesh fabric felt great all day and kept me cool
  • One of the most amazing fits in a pair of underwear and in the all time top 3 jocks I have ever worn

Cons:

  • Not for you if you don’t love jocks
  • Leg Straps can roll when putting on like with most jocks.
  • May enhance your bulge, which could be good or bad depending on where you wear

UNB Tim recommendation: If you love jocks this is a MUST have for your drawer. It’s especially true if you love to wear them during strenuous activities and have something fashionable. Even if you don’t it’s perfect for everyday wear in hot climates or anywhere! I think every guy should own one. This is an amazing pair!!!

It’s no secret that Ergowear is one of my favorite brands. Their pouches are some of the best on the market. My personal favorites are the X3D and Max because I love the way they fit. The Feel pouch is a bit loose for my taste. Ergowear released the Max Mesh line and I knew I had to have some. This review is the jock but I also go the long boxer brief (yes I got a boxer brief).

I wore these to work on a hot day. It’s fall here in ATL but it’s still 80-90 degree days. When I slid this pair on, I was like “WOW, I am loving this fit.” The pouch was just what I love. It was tight and held everything in place. Mix that with the mesh fabric that kept me cool all day and WOW. As I went through the day I would constantly go “I can’t believe how great this pair feels all day.” I don’t know if it gave me bulge and extra boost or not but I didn’t care as well as this pair fit.

The mesh fabric is the star of this pair. It will keep you cool throughout the day. It’s perfect for working out and being active. Or, if you’re like me in a hotter climate it’s a great every day pair. The Ergowear site says “you’ll feel fully-supported and dry all day long” and this is 100% true. If you’re curious, the fabric is 89% Polyester, 11% Spandex mesh fabric

I would say that Ergowear has one of the best size charts in the business. If you follow it you’ll be fine. Their sizing is pretty consistent over the last few years. Before you buy any underwear check the sizing. I got an Xl and it fit really well. I can’t recall any times when I heard of sizing issues. So once you buy you should feel confident in buying in the future.

This jock is in the top 3 of my favorite jocs, EASY. The fit and feel impressed me big time. I couldn’t get over how well the pouch felt all day. The breathability of the fabric and the color. I got the Blue! This is perfect for any active guy but hell any guy that loves jocks. This is getting the rare 10 out of 10 from me. I am going to buy the whole line and can’t wait to review the Max Mesh boxer briefs now!! I HIGHLY recommend this piar

• Only available in three different color options

UNB Ryan’s recommendation: I love thongs and jump at any chance to check out a new style or designer. The way that this pair is constructed is unique in that it incorporates a see-through mesh front panel. I wasn’t sure about the see-through aspect at first (I know I’ll wear a thong on the beach in front of anybody but see-through underwear???) but ended up liking it just fine. The mesh used for the see-through feature is really soft, unlike some mesh features I have worn in the past. It may cause me to branch out a bit more in my fabric selections in the future.

I have not previously worn anything from Daddy Underwear, not for any particular reason but simply because there are so many different brands and styles out there. It’s hard to pick a new brand or style (hopefully the reason you are reading this article). The pair I am reviewing today is the Daddy Underwear Thong and was provided for review by Mensuas. I usually stray away from anything with a mesh design because I don’t like the way it feels against my skin, but these are surprisingly comfy. This suit was a tiny bit outside of my comfort zone for two reasons. First, the mesh panel is not something that I would typically like. Next, the front pouch is a more traditional, wider pouch that I am accustomed to it is not a bulge pouch that is my go-to pouch style. The cut, however, is very well suited for long-term wear, and is very comfortable! The mesh fabric insert also feels very soft which was a surprise for me as I have had some mesh styles in the past that were very uncomfortable.

As the Mid-Atlantic has been faced with the threat of Hurricane Florence over the past week, I have had the opportunity to wear this pair around the house while lounging, binge watching Ozark on Netflix, and I may have snuck outside for a few minutes in them to grill some burgers. The pouch design on this pair is pretty traditional, with the exception of the mesh panel insert. The pouch is a flat front design with a small forward dart, so they have plenty of room for all day wear with minimal adjustment. Another design feature is the two-tone pattern which features brightly colored solids paired with a mesh insert of the same color, with a contrasting color band. The waistband is 3/4’” and constructed of the same Nylon/Spandex blend as the rest of the underwear. The final design feature is a black panel insert on the front which does a nice job of transitioning into the mesh pouch and highlighting your package.

As far as I can tell, Daddy Underwear has done an outstanding job in the construction of this pair. If I had to point out one thing that I disliked about this pair I would say the same thing that I do with all thongs-smaller tags! I have thoroughly enjoyed wearing this pair over the last week, and will continue to keep it in my rotation. The cut of this pair is conservative, and could be worn under a pair of dress slacks without any concern of drawing additional attention, that is until you get undressed and want more attention. The see through detail on this pair will surely incite attention wherever you choose to show them off!

I don’t have any experience with the Daddy brand of underwear to compare this style and size too. Mensuas provided this pair in a size medium, which isn’t my typical size, but I’ll say that they are probably pretty true to size based on my experience with other brands and styles in the industry. If I were to buy another pair, I would definitely size down to my normal size.

In conclusion, I have been pleasantly surprised with this pair and will look more into Daddy Underwear and their new offerings. I would love to see more color options, and maybe see a bulge style pouch introduced, but overall the brand is delivering a sold product at a very low price point that should be affordable for everyone. Give Daddy Underwear a try and let us know in the comments below what you think. You can also send me a message or question directly on Instagram or Twitter @unb_ryan . I look forward to hearing from you soon!

BRAND: JOR
PAIR: Sunny Swim Thong 0427
COLORS: Black, Fuchsia, White, Grey Print, and Yellow Print
FABRIC: 84%NYLON 16%SPANDEX
SIZES: Small  – XL
COST: $41.60

Rating: 8/10 (Average of the Rating Below)

• Daily Fit: 7/10
• Sizing 9/10
• Styling: 9/10
• Performance 7/10

Pros:

• Love the styling-I have always been a fan of the thicker waist band look. I think the wide band style gives a little modesty to an inherently un-modest swimsuit. Sometimes little refinement and sophistication rather than overly strappy and loud styling can be a little much in a thong swimsuit for me.
• Colors- Love the arrangement of solid to print colors on the suit. I personally own the black and love the simplicity in wearing a solid black thong. However, the Fuchsia, or other prints brings this thong to another notch in loudness! Great to fit the personality of the wearer.
• Buns Factor- The wide bands make your behind look outstanding. Hands down my favorite back on any thong I own right now

Cons:

• Center Strap design- What really stops me from wearing this suite every time is that darn center strap, or really string. Many of JOR’s thong swimsuits’ center strap eventually becomes a simple string that eventually joins the pouch. To be honest, I have learned to hate that feeling beneath my gonads. If you are just tanning for the day, it’s really not bad, but if you are at all active, or dare I say bend over, there really isn’t a lot of coverage to save you.

• Pouch size- While the pouch is luxurious and soft and the material construction is fantastic, the size is just ok. For me its slightly constricting and not a whole lot of room to stretch. Especially with that string…nothing to save you below that pouch…Have I mentioned I don’t like the center strap!?

• Big clothing tag on the back-strap. I guess I must be splitting hairs, but the clothing tag is huge for just a small swimsuit… I promptly remove the tag because it literally hangs out the side of your suit if you are not careful. But their goes your sizing, washing, and care instructions…

UNB Shawn Recommendations

This is a great first swim thong to purchase. If you are on the fence about this whole swim thong craze here on UNB look no further than this suit. It is easy to find, pricing not terrible, lots of colors, and fairly modest backside.

I have worn this thong a few times in the sun and in the water and it really is a thong built to last. Good quality construction and for the most part pretty comfortable…Maybe you will like the stringy strap, but it all reality it’s a great piece of clothing and I am glad it is a part of my collection.
