Review #4 was the Manview Calor brief in blue.  This was a new brand for me so I had no expectations going in.  When I first opened the package, I liked the colors and style immediately so I was excited to give these a shot.  From what I can find online. These are also available in a green/gray combination.

Lots of driving and some projects that were outside made these VERY sweaty and gave them a run for their money.  I liked the soft fabric and fun styling the minute I pulled these briefs on.  But might not choose them for a really hot, active day or for the gym.  Because it seems the material isn’t made for that and doesn’t dry quickly and I’m not a huge fan of a damp crotch all day!

The sizing online says they run small so buy accordingly.  I am a 31-32 and this medium fit just right.  The 6% spandex provides a good amount of stretch and the 94% cotton makes them soft.

The cut is that of a modern brief. With the front and back panels connected to side panels in contrasting  white fabric.  which makes them just a little different and allows the bright, red piping to really show.  The waistband is larger than usual with MANVIEW written in large lettering. Which was fine for me, but might bother those who like less elastic around their waist.  The back of these briefs was full but did ride up just a little throughout the day.  Not enough to be annoying but I found myself adjusting them every so often.

Overall these are a pair I would recommend. I will continue to wear – just not on overly active days when I want a pair to stay in place without any fuss.  The multiple colors were great and make them stand out in my drawer of over 200 pairs, which is a huge bonus.

PROS

  • Colors
  • Sporty style
  • Soft, comfortable fabric

CONS

  • Back needed to be adjusted throughout the day
  • Larger than usual waistband (only a con for some)

Some underwear can be an adjustment to get used to. The first time I tried a thong I was not convinced. So it took a few more times before I realized how fun and great they could be. I believe the same could be true for this unique pair of Body Aware briefs as well. Most traditionally aligned with a bikini cut Body Aware makes its mark with an unexpected twist of a “string” waist band. Instead of the most traditional elastic ½” band that we’re all fairly used to.

However, it is those strings that will take me a few tries to get comfortable with. Their support is fine, they hold up and hold in but it is the look it that plays with my mind. Perhaps if I have a better “V” then it would be different because I could see it being very sexy on someone. The little ‘windows’ created by the combo of the strings and the bikini cut will just take some getting used to.

All that being said, the pair is moderately comfortable. The nylon feels great on the bum as it gives a very smooth, very silky feel that is always welcome on the rear. The pouch is similar, very smooth. It is a much defined pouch, as one would expect, and given the windows the bulge definitely stands out.

So, if you want a fun and unique pair that might take a time or two to get used too then this is the pair for you. It is fun, it really is. The colors are vibrant and flashy. The cut is one of a kind. The fit is good.

Pros: Fun colors, very comfortable fabric, flashy and fun.

Cons: Slightly odd string band, slits that could take time to get used to

Beau Briefs recommendation: These are an interesting pair that one will either really love or be on the fence about.

Review (1)

For my third review, I wore the Clever Custok Latin Brief in blue.  I own a thong by Clever that I love so I was optimistic going into this review from the start.  The pair comes in three colors (Blue, Gray & Green) and retails for $28.48 on the Clever website.

The mesh-like fabric felt sporty and sexy so I wore these on a long day that would really test them.  When I put them on that morning the first thing I noticed was the great color(s).  While mainly blue, there is a gray pouch. The red waistband with yellow/gold lettering and fun, contrast stitching.   After a long work day at the office, I ran some errands around town and even went for a jog.  These briefs really got a workout and held up great!  I forgot I was wearing them for the most part, which for me is a sign you’re wearing a great pair of underwear.

When it comes to sizing, these do run a bit small as their own sizing chart indicates.  So there shouldn’t be any surprises.  The medium fits a 30-32 waist and being a 31-32, they worked for me but certainly didn’t leave much extra room.  If you’re on the larger end of your size spectrum, you might go up one size.

The fabric is 73% nylon and 27% spandex.  Which gives this pair great stretch. With a cut that definitely shows you off the perfect amount and offers great support.  The seam going up the back defines your butt which is a blessing for those of us that can use all the help we can get!  The bright colors were in an unusual combination that made me love them even more.  Definitely not your typical briefs.

PROS

  • Colors
  • Great fabric
  • Sexy but practical cut/style

CONS

  • Fit may be a bit small for guys who are super well endowed in the front or back
  • Not inexpensive (but typical for designer underwear)

RSH_A_6My first reaction to the Up-Front brief was it leave nothing to the imagination. It’s a very lightweight sheer material. I was not wrong in my first reaction. I was however, completely in love with the color of a light blue almost robins egg.

Once I wore the Up-Front Briefs even for a few minutes a few things became very apparent… One, I love how they felt on my skin. Two I needed to trim up quite a bit.

I love to wear these under my slacks for work. They have a way of making any man feel very sexy while wearing any pair of pants.

I got the large size in briefs and im very glad I did. The briefs have a full back, which I love. They have a very nice pouch in front that almost pushes up your manhood, but not in another brands too much way. Its just the right about of showing off.

EW0308 (1)I just love getting underwear from Ergowear to review. The pouch is one of my favorite. While I’m still making up my mind with the Feel line (read the past review). Its been one of my favorites in underwear for many years. The new pair I get to review is the Trio Brief. It was just released back when the new swimwear was released!

My first thing I love is the color. I’m a big fan of green underwear. Let’s face it we all have our favorite colors in underwear. This pair is a mix of green and blue! Its made as a bikini (but some may not call it a bikini, you know who you are out there). Meaning it’s a waistband about 1.5 inches thick with only a pouch and the back.

I wore this on a lazy day. I amdit it, I did absouletly nothing the day I wore these. I had high hopes that they would be an amazing lounge pair. You know we all need underwear that does well when active. Its equally important to have a great pair when you are having a day to veg and binge watch your favorite TV show or play video games.

When I slid them on I really loved the pouch. It felt great on and contained everything. The colors were also fun on! Let’s talk about this pouch. The front is just the pouch and the waist band. There is nothing on the sides. This can sometimes cause issues with the pouch loosing its shape. This pair never had any issues with that. It held everything together!

The materials felt good too. It’s not as amazing as the Sauve collection but still very good. The back could have been a bit bigger, it didn’t ride up but did ride up a little. So if you have a butt you may not like this pair.

We must talk sizing! As always if you go see their sizing chart you will have no problem finding the right size for you. Over the years they have been pretty consistent on the sizes they offer. I can’t remember anytime I have received something that wasn’t the size it was offered as (in inches that is).

Pros:

  • Its my favorite color green
  • Skimpy brief Cut
  • Great sizing

Cons:

  • Back may not fit all
  • The cut may be too skimpy to others

EW0337-3This is the second of the series of the Vermouth collection from Ergowear. The previous review was posted last week of the Vermouth X3D Brief. Which is now one of my favorite! With this amazing review I was happy to try the Feel version of the pair.

The Feel version has it’s own pouch. It’s a very interesting design that can look odd when you see it. The X3D has the contoured pouch, the Feel has a more pleated pouch. It’s a totally different design on how to solve the problem of the pouch. My hat is off to trying something new and different.

I wore this pair on a regular day. Like the X3D review the fabric is amazing. The super soft fabric is one of my favorites of this year. The pouch in the Feel was a little different to me. Not saying it was bad but different. The support and design was something to get used too. The X3D just felt super natural to me where as the Feel pouch was more designed and a bit constricting to me.

The feel line has a great following for Ergowear. My review is just my own opinion. It’s a different option for a pouch for those who love it. I am not one of those. Did I hate it? Not really It will take a few wears over the next few weeks to get used too it before I totally make up my mind. The pair is very well made, Ergowear never lets down on quality.

As mentioned above it felt ok through the day. I guess I wanted a bit more support and room in the pouch. The rest of the pair felt great. The fuller coverage in the back is perfect. It’s very breathable and perfect for a hot day.

Sizing for Ergowear is always spot on. As mentioned in previous reviews, they have the best sizing chart on the market. If you follow it you should have no issues getting the right size. My XL fit pretty well. I hope to be back down to a Large soon but it wasn’t too tight or constricting in the waist.

Pros:

  • Super soft fabric
  • Loved the color
  • Ergowear is always well made

Cons:

  • The pouch was a bit constricting
  • The color may not be for everyone

EW0334-2Before I start the review. Bikinis are my favorite cut of underwear. I love the fit and feel of them. When I saw the new Vermouth collection from Ergowear I knew I had to get some. I have a series of 3 underwear reviews coming up featuring Ergowear.

I have loved Ergowear since the early 2000’s. They make amazing pouches that fit like a glove. One of my favorites is a X3D brief in white. It’s got to be 10 years old and I still wear it. It’s one of those pairs I cant get rid of because of the fit. Flash forward to the new Vermouth collection.

EW0334-3

A few things to know about the Vermouth Collection. It’s a special collection they have released featuring some of their best sellers. They include styles from the X3D, Feel and Max collections. The styles include the thong, bikini and mini boxer. Also, there is just one color. It’s sort of a lilac (purple/pink color). This may scare some of you off but don’t let it.

So on with the review. Having a positive history with Ergowear, I was excited to try this line. When I slid it the Vermouth X3D bikini on I knew it would be a new favorite. The first thing I noticed was the fit. It’s a smaller cut bikini but with that ergonomic pouch. I loved the pouch and how it held everything together. The next thing I noticed was the amazing microfiber fabric. The fabric is some of the softest I have worn in a while. I thought it maybe modal but it’s a polyester/nylon blend. I love loved how it felt .

I wore the pair running errands. I wished I had had this pair in Vegas. The pair really breathes and moves with you. Its perfect for someone active or being outside in the hot sun. The fit kept all day and gave me amazing support. I really LOVED this pair. I wanted to wear it a second day, and  wished I had more than one pair.

Ergowear has one of the best sizing guides on the market. This will allow you to pick the perfect size. It think more brands should create a guide like they do. They tell you when you may want to go up a size. My XL fit me perfect. It wasn’t too tight or too loose. It was just right. I honestly don’t think you will have issues in sizing.

Pros:

  • Super comfortable fabric
  • Loved the color
  • Amazing and supportive pouch

Cons:

  • Some may not like the color
  • Some may not like the smaller cut

It should be noted I am not a big fan of boxer briefs When I have a piar to review I’m always a bit skittish. My go to pairs are briefs, bikinis and the like. My biggest issue with boxer briefs is the lack of pouch, riding up in the legs and bunching up. All of these things suck and are the reasons I hardly wear them.

Bülge Clothing has come on to the scene and I have been talking to the guys who started the brand. They are really some amazing guys and are doing something different. They send me a few pairs to try. Looking at their site they showed some promise but I was still skeptical. Think of the reasons up above. I was thinking “Sure if you’re a boxer brief fan, you will love these but I know I probably wont’ like them.”

I was going to wear them to Vegas for the week of Magic, but I decided to wait till I got back to try them. After I came home I gave them a spin, so to speak. When I slid them on the fabric was pretty great. It felt really wonderful against my skin. The next thing I noticed was the pouch. It actually had one! It gave me the support I really want in underwear! Lastly is the riding and bunching. The legs had elastic in them so this stopped the legs from ridding up and bunching.

It’s like the guys at Bülge designed a pair of boxer briefs for just me. All my issues with the style were pretty much non issues. These are designed for guys who are active. Their spokes people are MMA, IFBB and other fitness guys. So it’s definitely designed for guys who are active!

I seriously am impressed with this pair. I didn’t think I would like it as much as I did. It’s rare I like a traditional boxer brief. They are doing something great. From the design to the amazing fabric, if you’re a boxer brief fan you will love them! And maybe if you’re not!

Pros:

  • Supportive pouch
  • Great fabric
  • Didn’t ride up

Cons;

  • Not in many colors
  • Some guys may not like the fit is a little loose if you are a briefs fan

For my second review here at UNB, I received the hip brief from the British Puddings line from Bum-Chums. This line has several cuts (hip brief, trunk, jock and what they call a slingshot). They also have a few different color choices – mine were Berry Cumpote. I had never tried Bum-Chums . I have heard of them through a few different websites and always like to try something new. They retail for around $25 when you convert the price from British Pounds.

I wore these to work on a VERY hot Monday. Driving around town, sitting at my desk, taking a walk at lunch and then a haircut on my way home. This was before going to dinner gave these a real test drive! The briefs were very comfortable and stayed in place throughout the day. They would definitely be in my regular rotation – even for activewear since the material is suited for that. (92% Polyamide and 8% Elastane)

Sizing is a bit off for me because their website says a medium covers 32-34. I am a 31-32 waist these mediums fit just right. If I followed their guide, I would have ordered a small and I think they would have been too tight. So I recommend going a size up.

I loved the style of these briefs! The color was a bit louder than I usually choose but that made them more fun. They are a hip brief so they have small-ish sides without being tiny. The pouch gave a good amount of room up front and held things in place. Despite their name, I didn’t notice any change in how my bum looked in these briefs, but they felt great! One element that guys might not love is that the elastic around the legs. While very fun in contrasting color, is a bit too wide. This didn’t cause any discomfort during the day. It feels a little heavy – especially where the seams are. My last little complaint is the silly name. I’m not a huge fan of underwear brands with cheeky names, especially when it’s written all over the waistband. I realize I’m a bit of a dud for saying this, but there it is.

PROS

  • Fun colors
  • Great fit
  • Comfortable

CONS

  • Extra wide elastic on legs
  • Must order from the UK

IMG_4334qI’ve had the pleasure of getting my feet wet here at UNB by reviewing the Marcuse United Brief in blue. I was excited to try these because I don’t own any Marcuse and thought the style and colors of their line would be right up my alley. The United comes in 8 different colors individually ($13.13 USD) or you can buy a box set of all 8 together. ($74.13 USD)

I chose a relatively lazy but hot Los Angeles Sunday to try these out to be on the safe side. After cleaning the house a bit, lounging in front of the TV and walking a few blocks to go eat dinner, I have to say they held up well. They were even my PJs for the night. They stayed in place, were comfortable and I feel would be a good choice for everyday underwear. They would not be my first pick for a really active day or the gym. I think the pouch was a bit too snug and I prefer a IMG_9263spandex/microfiber fabric that dries easily for really sweaty days.

I am a 31-32 waist so I go between small and medium depending on the brand. This pair was a medium (which says it fits 32-34) and I’m glad that’s what I received! Based on their size chart, a small would be my usual choice but they wouldn’t have fit. I definitely recommend going up a size – especially if you need more room in certain areas…

I loved the styling and royal blue color with the white contrast trim around the legs and down the sides of the front panel. The Marcuse waistband with a red stripe and their logo written in rubberized lettering (air dry – no dryer). There is a fun, little button on the fly which is functional if you aren’t a “pull ‘em down” type in the bathroom. The material is nice and soft (95% cotton) with a good amount of stretch (5% elastane). The only area I would have liked to see a difference in would be the pouch, or lack thereof. The briefs fit well but don’t leave much room up front so everything was a bit squished. I’m not a fan of “show it” pouches but definitely appreciate a little extra space for my package. The back is cut smaller than classic briefs, which I love because I’m not too well endowed in the back. For guys with a real bubble butt, this would probably just barely cover everything, which isn’t always a negative. 🙂

IMG_9813q

Wearing the United brief has definitely piqued my interest in Marcuse as a brand and I will absolutely try more in the future. Overall, a great first experience as an underwear reviewer (my dream job)!

PROS

NX2-15-FullN2N Bodywear released a new line this year appropriately called “XXX.”  If the name alone doesn’t appeal to you, I am not sure what will!  What’s not to love with those initials right?  In the tradition of N2N Bodywear, they know how to make a sexy cut when it comes to bikinis.  Their String Bikini in the XXX line reminds me of their previous Mojave Cutaway which is a staple in my drawer.  It was nice to have a cut that was a personal throwback to that pair for me.  The bikini has a smaller pouch in the front instead of having a wide brief like front and a simple back covering that covers what it needs to.  What I like about this style is the high cut on the sides, basically only the waistband connects the front to the back.  It is a practical yet sexy fit.  The bikini is a black and grey combination made from 100% nylon.  Both the front pouch and back are sheer, leaving little to the imagination.  The black waistband features a big XXX in grey across the front and the N2N and Made in Los Angeles in the back.  So if anyone gets a peek at that waistband above your pants, they know your secret intention!

I wore the N2N Bodywear XXX bikini to work for a busy day.  In the grand tradition of N2N, the pair held up beautifully.  Through the ups and downs of the day, I never felt any discomfort in the pair.  I wear a medium and all aspects of the bikini fit great.  The waistband is not too tight, the pouch holds everything nicely, and the back offers adequate coverage without and running up.  It is very important to find a pair that you can trust NX2-15-Cthroughout your day without having that desire to sneak home and change them out.  N2N Bodywear continually delivers that trust in their underwear.  This underwear is a great combination of practical and sexy.  Wearing a comfortable and attractive pair of underwear with an elevated sex appeal to it is exciting.  In my mind all day, I knew I was sheer underneath and curious what you would say if you knew that!

Overall, N2N Bodywear has been able to excite me again with bringing back a cut that was so popular for them with me.  The string bikini is a perfect fit for any guy who is looking for practical and comfortable yet sexy.  The XXX line also features a jock, brief, and trunk, all available in the classic black or white.  I would encourage anyone to wear this pair over the course of their work day, set up a great date night dinner, and then slide them off for the XXX to take over the night!

Pros:

  • Comfortable
  • Slim fit with bikini style
  • Sheer material for sexual appeal

Cons:

  •  Colors (only available in black and white, would like additional variety to pop)

fullsize_1411729346_body_1024x1024I’m back with the second review I am doing for Kikini. I am really enjoying rediscovering this brand. The first pair I reviewed, the Croft Micro Brief, were amazing so I definitely had high hopes for the Imola Brief.

The Imola brief is more of a brief cut than a bikini. It is made out of the same material the Croft is made out of, but had a traditional waistband. Again when I held it up I was a little worried about the size. More on that in a bit later in the reivew. The designs that Kiniki has for their underwear are awesome. They are super fun and not prints I have seen in the world of underwear that often! So massive points scored for that!

I wore the pair on an average day, but I had planned on wearing to a party one night but I couldn’t wait to try it out! The first thing I noticed was the waist band was a little tight. Not binding tight but still noticeable when I put it on. As the day progressed I really didn’t notice it. The fabric like the Croft brief felt awesome. I love the fabric of the pair. The Poly Lycra fabric is becoming one of my favorites!

Kikini says this about the pair: “The Kiniki brief features an integrated front panel for optimum support & tailored comfort while the waist is completed with a new, wider, signature Kiniki waistband made from a shimmering elastic weave making for an extra comfortable waistband that reduces pressure on the skin and looks distinctive in it’s high quality finish.”

I mentioned above the print. This print is called HD print. It is designed exclusively by Kikini and you won’t find it anywhere else. I don’t think it is, but this pair reminds me of a snake print. Their other prints are just as amazing. If you are not a print fan, I suggest you stay away, if you are go now and buy!

The sizing was a little tighter than the previous pair. The bikini (micro brief) fit great. The waistband was a bit tighter than I would like. Like I mentioned above the pair didn’t bind or constrict me. But there were a few times I could tell it was a little tight. It detracted some but not a great deal from this site.

Pros:

  • Amazing Prints
  • Great fabric that feels amazing
  • Traditional brief design

Cons;

  • Sizing was a bit smaller
  • Not for those guys who don’t like prints

fullsize_1411742568_thumb_8d6b9dfa-fd19-4706-8a25-a079da50d95a_1024x1024

Its’ been a long time since we have reviewed Kiniki. So when they contacted us to do some new reviews I was like “cool.” Then when I checked out the site and saw all they had the “cool” turned into “Heck Yeah I do!” They have really come out with a lot more underwear and swimwear since I last was on their site. The prints and patterns are super fun and it was a hard to narrow what I wanted down to a few pairs.

The first pair I am reviewing is the Croft Micro Brief. There are several reasons I chose this pair. The first is it’s a bikini cut. It reminds me of some of the first pairs I got hooked on. Next was the print. Super fun and different from a lot I have seen. And lastly was the material. It reminded me of the nylon of the first bikinis I ever wore.

When I got the package and opened it. The first thing I noticed was the fabric. Its called a Poly Lycra. However, it def reminded me of nylon bikinis of days gone by. I slid them on and at first I was worried that they wouldn’t stretch and be too binding through out the day. After I pulled them on they were tight but not uncomfortable. The fabric and the design really made this pair feel amazing through out the day. As the day went on I forgot I was even wearing underwear. It was a pair I wanted to wear for two days! But I didn’t!

I wore this on a regular day. It wasn’t a super active day but some work and errands. My one issue that I thought I may have would be the pair is too hot. If you are familiar with nylon type fabric you know it may not breath and you can get uncomfortable fast. As the day went on I had no issues at all with breathability. The pair performed really well. I will say that this pair not only met my expectations but exceeded them.

The sizing of the brand is pretty good. This was an XL and fit me well, after my initial “I don’t think this will work” moment. Just double check the sizing chart before you order. Their sizing is pretty standard but always remember that if you’re on the upper end of a size go a size up to be safe!

The design of this pair I have to say I love. The bikini cut definitely reminds me of why I fell in love with underwear. It’s got the small sides of a bikini. The design is made with no seams in the front or back. This made for the lack of apouch, which was another concern but it didn’t factor in at all. The back is a ¾ design so you won’t get full coverage. So if you have a butt you may take that into account.

Pros:

  • A Bikini Cut
  • Super Fun print
  • Amazingly comfortable

Cons:

  • Not for guys who don’t like prints
  • ¾ back design may not fit some guys

Compared with other high-end briefs, Nasty Pig’s creation fits nicely within its market niche. The leg gatherings are stitched well. The colorful 1.5 inch waistband boldly identifies the brand in front, but the moniker is not repeated (which is a subtle detail indicative of extra care in the design). The pouch is not as initially generous as those found in N2NBodywear or Andrew Christian Products, but the cotton-spandex fabric provides sufficient stretch that wearing remains quite comfortable throughout a long day.

Speaking of wear, I’ve personally worn this brief three different times. Each time the backside stayed where it was supposed to stay. I never felt the need to adjust after sitting, standing, climbing stairs, or walking the dog. The fabric does an excellent job of wicking sweat away from the body. The light, primary coloring adds a degree of levity, but the “Nasty Pig” waistband lets whomever sees know that your sense of frivolity also has a sexy, dark side.

This brief retails for $29.00 at www.jockstrapcentral.com and other locations. I purchased mine during a recent sale. The size large perfectly fit my 33-inch waist. The brief’s cut is more conservative than what I would typically wear when I’m not at work, and that subjective factor constitutes my only criticism of the garment. It is, by my account, excellent value for your money.

Unknown-11Before I start this review that was furnished by BearSkn. I have to tell you a bit about BearSkn. They are an underwear company made for all men. Meaning size is not an issue. They have sizes from small to 6XL. You heard me right 6XL. So no matter your size you will find some undies you will like.

I’m a bigger guy. I have about a 40 waist back up from 36 over a year ago. I want to get back down but finding undies to fit is not always easy. Many brands don’t go above 38 and some just up to 36 inches. Its frustrating to see great undies I can’t wear. But I digress!

The brief looks like like a brief. To me it seemed a little boring in the design department when I saw it in pictures. It was a “yeah it’s a brief nothing special.” The fabric looked like cotton and maybe a blend, it didn’t catch me. BearSkn sent me a few briefs to try, I was giving it the good ole UNB try.

The first thing I noticed was the fabric. All my preconcived ideas of hte pair were blown away. The fabric was not stiff but super soft. I had to do a double take on the fabric. It was pretty awesome. The fabric is 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane, Mesh: 95% Polyester. The mesh is at the bottom of the pair to allow extra air flow, which is awesome! It all goes back to what we have been told. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. And I won’t be doing that again with BearSkn.

I wore this pair on a night out for a friends birthday. It felt great under my jeans. The mesh panel came in handy because it was a hot almost summer night in ATL and the restaurant didn’t have the air on. It was horrible to be in 80+ degree heat with humidity. So the mesh made me feel comfy, well as I could for

The sizing of the pair is amazing. I got an XL and it fit me very well. You def will need to look at their sizing chart if you go into the larger sizes. But it should be pretty standard sizing from Small through XL.

Pros:

  • Amazing super soft pattern
  • Mesh Panel to allow air flow
  • Sizing is great

Cons:

  • It may not be super sexy for some guys (but it’s comfy as hell).
  • Simple waistband (I’m a waistband guy would love to see some BearSkn logo or soemthing in the band)

manview-campus-gym-brief-6Before starting at UNB, Manview was not a brand I was familiar with.  They seem to be more under the radar than their competitors which is a shame because they have a very innovative mind when it comes to design.  They think outside the box which is great in an underwear world of so many different brands.  I received my first pair of Manview underwear and what came to my mind was “hmm this is unique.”  I immediately noticed the sporty inspired design of a lace up front.  I also wondered how comfortable all of that would be under a pair of jeans and if the laces would get caught up in your zipper throughout the day.  As for a brief, this pair is definitely on the wider side of the spectrum.  The overall coverage of the brief almost makes you think it is a short trunk rather than a brief.  This will definitely be a plus for the men who appreciate a fuller fitting brief!

The brief is made from a cotton and spandex combination that offers a nice comfortable, soft touch.  The black waistband features the Manview name in the center, which contrasts nicely to the white and green color of the brief.  The two toned front pouch adds a pop of color in the right place to accentuate the package.  With the color and laces, eyes go wear you want them to.  I slipped the pair on and prepared for a day of errands, chores, and dinner with friends.  I wear a medium and they fit true to size.  They were not too tight and looked good on.  I tend to go for smaller briefs than these but I was pleasantly surprised with how good they felt and how comfortable they were.  For my day, the pair held up nicely.  My initial concern was that there was too much going on in the front of this brief for a comfortable, functional wear but I was wrong.  Don’t let looks fool you on these!  The leg openings do not ride up, the back offers full coverage, and the front pouch has enough room to keep everything comfortable and in place all day.  manview-bodywear-campus-gym-boxer-brief-underwear-green-white-mv2002-303388959

All in all I have to say my first experience with Manview was a positive one.  I have looked through some of their inventory and their design scheme is amazing.  They really aim to offer something different to set themselves apart in the marketplace.  On a side note, I mention design as both a positive and negative because it can be very appealing to the eye but some may find it to be too much for a pair of underwear for daily wear.  Overall, I hope they continue to gain attention and spread the underwear love out to the men in need of some variety in their drawers!

Pros:

  • Innovative Design
  • Well Fitting Material
  • Color combinations

Cons:

  • Fuller brief (trunk like)
  • Busy front design

  • Daily Fit = 8
  • Sizing = 8.5

NP3-15-A

March is one of my favorite times of year. You may think its due to the change in weather, winter is leaving and spring is about to be sprung. Yeah I do enjoy that but my favorite is that N2N Bodywear releases its new collection. Unlike other brands they just do one collection a year.

In February of this year they released a limited collection to tease us. It was kind of out of the blue. One of the linesthey released was the Primary Collection. The name comes from the colors of the collection. It’s available in Red, Blue and Green. I of course got the green. Which is my favorite color. It is a color that is rare in underwear. So I jumped at the chance for green undies.

N2N sent us a few different pairs to review. This being one of them. We have a few more reviews coming soon from thenew collection including swimwear and underwear! Not to mention one singlet.

NP4-15-AI wore the pair for a lazy day at home. I had no real plans and wanted a pair of great undies to lounge around the house. This pair is really comfortable and has the signature N2N pouch. I don’t know how Andrew does it but they have one of my favorite pouches and it caries across all their lines. The contrasting yellow piping really makes the pair pop.

This collection is a simple design. Simple is not a bad things. One of the latest trends in men’s underwear is having amazing and colorful prints. Sometimes you need something simple in your underwear drawer. The fabric is a 90% cotton and 10% spandex blend. Which will make this simple design fit amazing.

Sizing for N2N Bodywear is pretty consistent. I have had very few issues with pairs not fitting. My only concern is I’m going to work on loosing weight again and love this pair so if I loose too much weight I won’t be able to wear it. The size I received is an XL and it fit amazing.

Pros:

  • Amazing Pouch
  • Great material
  • Simple Design

Cons:

  • Some may not like bright colors
  • No other cons

Ratings:

  • Daily fit: 9
  • Sizing 9
  • Construction 9
  • Styling 9
  • Daily Performance 9
  • Overall: 9
