If you’re anything like me, you have too many pairs of underwear and find yourself standing in front of your underwear drawer trying to figure out what to wear for a night out on a date or to hang with friends. I personally tend to gravitate towards the same pairs every time, but I tend to want to wear something different. I decided to find what I liked about one of my favorite pairs of underwear and use that to see what else I can add to my favorites I often choose.
A great pair of underwear I absolutely love is the C-in2 Core Lo No-Show Profile Brief. I really like this pair of briefs because they are comfortable, have a great fit, have a form-fitting style (snug without pinching or feeling tight), and the construction materials (cotton) are outstanding. This pair looks and feels great under jeans and it doesn’t lose its shape, even after a long day of wear.
The pouch is another thing I like about this pair. I like the pouch because it helps lift the package without trying too hard to accentuate it which, with some brands, tends to look silly and result in a poor fit. As a daily briefs wearer, it’s a nice break from my everyday briefs. This pair adds sex appeal, thanks to the complementing cut, great fit, and featured enhancements.
Taking my own advice, I looked thru my underwear drawer and came up with other styles that have similar qualities, adding them to my list of favorites.
- Armani Exchange Hip Brief. This pair of underwear provides a great fitting pouch and its low cut style keeps it from sagging in the back. This is a great feature under tighter fitting jeans. Additionally, wearing Armani adds a touch of class and style.
- N2N Waistband Bikini. The pouch on this underwear is amazing. It adjusts itself around the goods and adds great enhancement plus the high cut on the legs adds confidence and allure.
- 2(x)ist No-Show Brief. I can’t say enough about this style of briefs. I own several pairs and they never disappoint. They are an all around great fit and come in assorted colors and fabrics.
- Puma Jockstrap. Jockstraps, themselves, are just sexy. This particular jock is great because it’s part of a brand known for its masculinity, thus adding athleticism and sex appeal. The pouch contours itself around you, giving you a defined package.

We are going to bring you some quick profiles of underwear companies that you may not know very well, but we think you should check them out! I’m not sure how often we will do them but I hope you guys will discover some really great undies.
We profile Puma Underwear this past week in our Underwear of the Week. It’s a company that really does some great designs. They don’t do a lot of colors or patterns. They are pretty basic, but the the underwear fit is designed for an active guy. I got a pair, as I said, back in 2006, I was from Century 21 in NYC. They were $8 and they are still in rotation in my underwear drawer. They are black briefs with Puma written 
across the seat. I didn’t know what to expect when I got them but, they were cotton stretch and just fit like a glove and they are in my top underwear drawer. If you are like me you have your underwear divided up. Top Drawer is your favorites, the next drawer is you good pairs, and the third drawer is your, ok pairs, but the ones you wear when you are out of undies. Yeah I have a lot of undies. I used to have an entire dresser full of undies. “Hi, My name is Tim and i”m an underwear addict” and proud of it.
The current line isn’t very big. They have a range from jocks, briefs, trunks and boxer briefs, so like I said pretty basic. There are only about 3 styles of each kind as wel.. The best thing about the line is they are very well made. How many times have you seen a great pair of undies, bought them only to be let down by the quality. I don’t think you will have that problem with Puma. My pair has held up and it’s almost four years since i had them. A few friends who have tried Puma fell in love with them as well. So, I will only recommend undies I think you will like and are of the highest quality.
Now, the the important info, where can you check out the lines. The two places I have seen them at are International Jock and Skiviez. There are other sites out there that carry it but these are two local, North American, sites that we know and trust.
Go check out the lines, each site has something different and buy a pair or two and let us now what you think. I think you will be pleased with the undies and go back for more!
This week’s underwear of the week is from a brand you may not have seen much, Its from Puma. I haven’t seen this brand in stores, very often, in the States. I have a pair of briefs I got at Century 21 in NYC a few years ago and they are one of my favorite pairs. They are well made and just fit me like a glove.
Puma underwear is a brand that has a very sporty design. They are perfect for a guy that works out, plays sports or just wants some extra support. They have a more contemporary and modern design. I really like the look of their line and think they have made a great core line.
The Puma Active Leisure Trunk is our choice this week. I have, in the past few years, been wearing more trunks. I like them because they have the fit of a brief but more coverage. However, with me the jury is still out on boxer briefs… but enough about that. I choose these for the design. I ran it by John our Asst. Editor and he said “Ooo I Like” and those are “super cute.” I agree, I think they are fun, and I think Puma doesn’t get a lot of attention in the US. Not sure if that’s by design or they just haven’t gotten into the US Market.
