Men’s underwear, swimwear and athletic loungewear brand Modus Vivendi is starting the presentation of its Spring Summer 2016 collection with the new Perforated Line. The line comprises underwear and tank tops in four colour variations, designed to combine two main fashion trends for this season: colour blocking and powdery pastels.

The underwear of the Perforated line come in three distinctive cuts: mini briefs, briefs and boxers. They all feature side and back panels made from a cotton based, high quality sporty mesh to allow moisture wicking and contrasting, solid, cotton based, pouch. These playful designs are perfect not only for the gym but for any other activity and every occasion. The colourways are trendy and modern combining powdery pastels with bold classics. The tank top of this line is a versatile, slim fit design with stylish, contrasting neck and arm trims which you can wear at the gym, as street wear with your favourite jeans or to match the underwear of this line.

For the first part of its extensive Spring Summer 2016 campaign, Modus Vivendi chose talented Greek photographer George Kostopoulos and new face, model Alexios Charistos. This campaign is called P4 which stands for the four new colour combinations of this line and its design elements: Playful, Perforated and Powdery Pastels.

This new line is called Virtus and it combines the soft, soothing touch of velvet with relaxed, sexy styles. The name Virtus derives from the Latin word ‘vir’, which means ‘man’ and has the connotations of courage, manliness and excellence. These new garments are unfussy, masculine and practical and should appeal to men who are uncomplicated, young at heart and fun. On a cold winter’s night they are perfect for relaxing at home and with just a touch of spice to the look they should keep you extra warm!

The photographer we called on to shoot the campaign for the Virtus Line is Kevin Slack, someone who understands not only the steamy sensuality of hot men, but who can convey feeling and character brilliantly. His photographs seem to have a special ability to draw you in – or is that the models he uses… Leaving momentarily his favourite destination, Cuba, Slack worked on the shoot in Toronto, Canada and found the perfect partner for the campaign in model Cianan. We think his amazing, athletic build and his bright, honest face suit the playful, sexy character of this line well and are very pleased with the outcome: a stunning campaign, creative, welcoming and sexy, just like the new Virtus Line by Modus Vivendi.

Continuing the launch of Modus Vivendi’s autumn/winter 2015/16 collection is the release of an outstanding, new, and unique line of men’s underwear and sportswear: Amalgam! Modus Vivendi has called this new line Amalgam, derived from the Greek malagma, meaning ‘soft’. Indeed, this line is made from a blend of top quality, ultra-soft knitted and woven fabrics that that will cosset your skin like never before. Briefs, boxers, tank tops and sweats, all in a subtle combination of grey tones but that’s not all! Modus Vivendi takes retro boxing gear and gives it a full fashion workout for this line, with glitzy silver fabrics reinventing classic designs and styles. Check out the ultra modern tank tops, robes and pants, all in shiny metallic silver combined with cool greys.
The campaign of the Amalgam line was photographed in Club Realbox gym in Tenerife, by talented Adrian C. Martin. The model is Christopher Garcia, current European champion of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The shots are fresh and strong, combining action with sleek style and the right amount of sexy, a great interpretation of this outstanding new line. The arousing backstage video was filmed by Sergio Del Pino.

MV-Mondrian Line -Conseptual Pictures Logo (3)In response to the runaway success of its 2015 swimwear line, which included new Mondrian Brief and Brazil Cut swimwear, Modus Vivendi has brought out a whole new Mondrian-inspired line of underwear and sportswear for its Autumn/Winter 2015-2016 collection.

Inspired by the abstract paintings of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, the new line uses strong colour blocks in rectangular form to create a bold visual impact and an upbeat, confident style. Briefs, boxers and tank tops come in strong colour palettes, with pure reds, yellows and blues combining with absolute black and white.

The collection is handcrafted in Greece by Modus Vivendi’s skilled artisans using the finest materials available.
English photographer Gavin Harrison was selected to create the images for the new campaign. His experience in the world of fine art, his appreciation of colour and direct photographic style made him the perfect choice. The photo shoot took place in Leicester, England and featured new boy Phillip Sharp from Celsius Models. Strong images and a strong collection for Autumn/Winter 2015-2016.

Continuing the launch of Modus Vivendi’s autumn/winter 2015-16 clothing, this latest release offers a new and extremely sexy line of men’s underwear and outerwear. The new line comprises briefs with enhancing features, boxers and open-back briefs, as well as sporty autumn favourites, such as hoodies and jogging shorts. Leather-look materials contrast with bold colour blocks in these striking new pieces, designed for maximum comfort.
The Blend Line campaign was shot on location in Thessaloniki by talented photographer Panos Misailidis, whose images powerfully reflect the tough-looking yet elegant blend that this line is all about. Combining action with sleek style, model and keen motorcyclist Kostas Milkas is accompanied by John Kalomoiris in a playfully sexy story. A roaring campaign for a line full of great attitude!

Using three vibrant colours, fuchsia, turquoise and warm yellow, Modus Vivendi sets the trend for this autumn’s menswear, with uplifting tones and versatile designs that you can wear at the gym, at home, or even as funky streetwear. Underwear comes in three simple styles: briefs, backless briefs and jocks. The sportswear range comprises 80’s inspired shorts, muscle tanktops, loose fitting pants and a unique hoodie that combines all three colours. Sweet!

The campaign for the Candy Line was shot in Barcelona. None other than English photographer Gavin Harrison set to work to show off the bold colours of this new line, selecting a wide range of hip locations to reflect the versatility of the clothes. Introducing two new men in the world of modelling, Gerard Casper Vack of Marlene Agency and Victor Manuel, the campaign shots are fresh, sharp and playfully provocative. Just like Candy!

ModusVivendi_WeeklyLine_f.w.15-16_Logo (1)After the release of a number of limited edition, Flash lines, Modus Vivendi launches the first of the New Trends lines for fall/winter 2015-16, the Weekly Line. The new Weekly Line comprises seven briefs and seven boxers, in seven colours. The underwear is made of the best quality cotton (95%) with a touch of elastane (5%) for a perfect fit. The Weekly Line is designed to stay comfortable in any situation and all day long, no matter how busy your life is or how intense your activity: sporty cuts, soft fabric, double ply contour pouch, elasticated waistbands and eco-friendly, natural dyes.
The campaign for the Weekly Line was shot in Madrid, Spain. Visionary photographer Joan Crisol shot outdoors, in sharp, defining sunlight, playing with mirrors to create reflections of this hyper busy city, his backdrop for the images. The model presenting this campaign needs no introduction: internationally-renowned model Konstantin Kamynin is looking great as always and was able to pull the shoot through to tremendous effect, remaining cool, calm and professional, in the busiest of locations… wearing just his Modus Vivendi underwear!

Modus Vivendi continues the presentation of its Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection with this limited edition, ‘flash’ line. The newly released line is called Abstract Lace and it comprises two types of briefs (low cut and classic cut) and jockstraps in pure white or seductive black. These sexy, masculine pieces are made from a fine semi-transparent French lace and are contoured to perfectly fit the male form. Not every man has felt lace on his body and this is a perfect opportunity: Modus Vivendi certainly knows how to pull it off. The Abstract Lace line is definitely classy and perfectly represents the brand’s ideals: high fashion, creativity, supreme quality and comfort.


The model for this line is once again Alexandros Kaltsidis. This great looking man is photographed on location in Thessaloniki by Panos Misailidis in a shoot that represents effortless chic and modernity.

Undies Monday is all about feeling sexy in your underwear. Finding that perfect style, fabric or brand you just fell amazing in. Fetish Friday is all about FUN. Its about embracing something outside your box and trying something new. It could be leather, satin, lace or more. There is no one definition of fetish wear! Much like our love of underwear it’s something different for everyone.

One of the most classic definitions for the general public for fetish wear involves the leather community. Specifically leather, latex and rubber materials. The pair we chose this week is the Modus Vivendi Latex Jock.

The Latex Jock, for those who maybe allergic, is a latex look rather than latex. If you are allergic before you order make sure you contact Modus Vivendi to make sure its not made out of any latex. Unlike traditional jocks this has a very wide waistband. It’s approximately 10 cm which translates to around 4 inches. The traditional classic jock has a 3 inch band. This means it is higher on the waist and they say it will give you a “new sensation”

Modus Vivendi is inspired by their Greek heritage. It shows through in this pair. It’s a different design from most western underwear companies. Also, Modus Vivendi is not afraid to try new things  and experiment in their designs. Its just a lot of fun! Modus Vivendi to me, is one of the most innovative underwear/swimwear companies on the market today. I hope they never loose their sense of design and fun.

Giving a hint of what the new collection of Modus Vivendi will be like, this line has some sexy and classic underwear designs. Vibrant colours as well as classic ones in a range of different cuts and fabrics. In this specific line you find white, blue and brown, combined with aqua blue, yellow and orange. There are three distinctive and very comfortable shapes: low cut briefs, briefs and brazil cut boxers all made from the finest cotton.

The conceptual pictures show model Alexandros Kaltsidis in the new designs of the brand, photographed on location in Thessaloniki.
