Ergowear is one of my favorite brands. Not only is the underwear great, but they usually have some pretty nice colors as well. Ergo wear doesn’t constantly come out with new shades, or have a laundry list of choices, but what they do have is usually nice. They just announced two new colors that’ll really put a spring in your step. Aka, they are tailor made for spring time. Ok, enough with the jokes. I know many brands out there release new springtime colors, but how many of those brand’s new colors are on awesome ergonomic underwear? I thought so.

The two new Ergowear springtime shades are named Menta and Coral. As you might have guessed from the names, Menta is a nice light green. Not lime green, but not too light either. Coral is, well, coral, an uncommon color in men’s underwear but one that has popped up now and then. Between the two, I’m partial to Menta myself, because green is one of my favorite colors.

Ergowear has released these colors in their Max Suave and Feel Suave lines, currently two of the most popular lines they have. That means you can get great trunks, bikinis, and thongs in some fun and fresh springtime shades. I’ve got a few pairs with the Suave material myself, and it’s quite nice. Ergowear states that “The new Menta and Coral tones display freshness and softness, reinforcing our pursuit of connection and respect to nature.” So what do you think of the new shades from Ergowear? Should they add them to some more lines? Which new color is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.

Ergowear has updated their Suave line. If you haven’t tried the Suave line, I highly recommend it. It is one of my favorite lines in the Ergowear line up. The fabric is some of the softest there is on the market. When you think of great underwear, fabric is pretty high on the list. And according to our readers, a supportive and great pouch. This line has both of those things in one. The pairs I have of the Suave line are in my regular rotation of underwear.

The new release has two colors. They are blue and my favorite green. Match those colors with the Feel pouch. The feel pouch is more of a natural, free hanging pouch. It’s for the guy who wants support but not super enhancing or showing off.  I have had many people comment to me on this pouch is one of their favorites. When you first put it on, mine felt a little strange. It took me a minute to get used to it.

The fabric is 95% Polyester 5% Spandex microfiber. Which may sound like a strange combo. I know there are many hearing “polyester? Nope!” This isn’t your fathers polyester. It’s one of the softest fabric combinations in the Ergowear lineup. I think most guys, who give it a chance will love it as much as I currently do!

Lastly are the styles. It has the Mini Boxer, Bikini and Thong. The Mini boxer is more of a trunk and almost a brief. The bikini is a true bikini (I won’t get into the specifics) and the thong is what you would expect. Any of these would be a great addition to your underwear drawer! Check out the entire collection.

Ergowear just released new colors in time for the holidays. These colors to me are more of a fall color palette. They are brown, blue, orange and green. They are muted and not primary colors you have seen from them in the past. I personally love the new colors. Mix it with the new waistband color and you have a winner!

Ergowear has been a favorite brand of mine long before I started UNB. Their pouches are some of the best on the market. My preferences are the X3D and Max. Both have amazing pouches that fit me like a glove. Pouches are where Ergowear excels in the world of underwear. The newest is the Max Mesh Collection.

The Max Mesh collection consists a thong, bikini, boxer brief and long boxer briefs. Each made out of an 89% polyester 11% elastan blend. Including the amazing Max pouch. The Max Pouch has a 3-D nose form that is anatomically shaped. This allows for plenty of room and support for any guy.

This collection is great for those who love white underwear. Each pair is a white fabric and a white waistband. You may say, this is boring, but the design is anything but boring. They are perfect for the gym because the fabric is moisture wicking. Meaning it’s perfect for working out, running or any time of activity where you want to feel cool throughout the day.

Ergowear has one of the best sizing charts on the net. It’s easy to find your perfect size. As long as you follow their guide, there should not be any sizing issues. I have never had any with the brand. Note the size chart may not match US Sizing.

Rating: 10/10

  • Daily Fit: 10/10
  • Sizing: 10/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros: Super soft fabric, great golden waistband, anatomical pouch

Cons: No cons.

SALVATORE Recommendation: I was excited the day my Ergowear Review package arrived in the mail. I get new underwear quite often. But there is something exhilarating about receiving a brand you’ve never tried before. Ergowear has long been considered the “gold standard” in anatomically or ergonomically correct pouches by most experts. This begs the question that if I consider myself an underwear expert. how in the world had I never tried Ergowear? I’ve come to realize that sometimes even the most experienced underwear enthusiast misses something incredible.

As I carried the package inside, I went through my normal new underwear routine. I went to my bathroom opened the package. I enjoyed a few moments of solace with new arrivals. The first pair I pulled out was the FEEL SUAVE BIKINI. The second pair I pulled out was the MAX SUAVE BIKINI. The third pair I pulled out was the X3D BIKINI in turquoise. The fourth pair I pulled out was the X3D SUAVE THONG in vermouth.

Never been a thong man. Sure, I have a few in my collection. But up until now, I’ve never considered them for anything other than sleeping in. The idea of something riding up the crack has always been unappealing to me. That changed when Ergowear arrived at my mailbox. Something about the soft anatomical pouch that the Suave collection.  That overwhelms the thought of dislike for thongs. I enjoyed wearing this pair.

Here are few things that stuck out to me:

  • Pouch: The X3D Pouch is one of my favorite pouches. Coming from a pouch snob, you should take that lightly. The anatomy fits just right in this collection. Surpassingly, the thong lived up to my expectation.
  • Ergowear Logo: The Ergowear logo is sewn front in center on the top of the brief.  Where the waistband would be if it had one. This is simple and adds to the overall look of the brief. The logo calmly states that the wearer is fashionable and knows how to pick good undies. Some brands are over the top with their branding of products. Again, there is nothing wrong with that, but it is sometimes necessary to be a little more discreet.
  • Fabric: LUXURY! LUXURY! LUXURY! Ergowear pulled no punches with how incredible this Suave Microfiber blend feels on the sensitive region. The 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex blend is very soft, displays high elasticity, is a highly resistant fiber. It allows very little moisture absorption. One of the best I’ve ever put on.

If you’ve read any of the posts in this mini-series. You will know that what I just said is almost identical to some of the other posts. That’s because the collection is simply amazing. I am so shocked that that Ergowear was able to translate such comfort into a thong. Try it out! EW0454_White_1Ergowear is a favorite of some of our guys on the site. I am included in that group. Egowear has a really great pouch. Not just for guys with a big package but for all guys. They designed several pouch designs that will fit a guy, the way underwear should be made! I get off my pouch soapbox now.

The newest edition in the Erogwear line are stripes. This is a limited edition collection of stripes. While not a huge collection it is something different from the line. They haven’t done too many stripes in the past. Actually I don’t recall when they did stripes. I’m not saying they haven’t but I can’t remember when they last had them. They have done some fun prints in previous collections though.

The new stripes are available in the X3D line. The styles are a thong, bikini and trunk. In colors black and white. Like I said it’s not a huge update. I really love these stripes. What is the X3D pouch design? It’s a “nose-shaped pouch has been designed with a lift effect, slightly pushing your genitals up and away for added movement and comfort.”

Another bonus of the X3D collection is it’s made out of Microfiber. The fabric is a super soft Microfiber fabric 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex. This fabric is a moisture-wicking fabric. Making it perfect for the hot summer or an active guy. All the pairs I have had of the X3D, the fabric has always been amazing. It’s soft and feels great against the skin.

If you have never experienced Ergowear now is the time to try. I don’t think you will be disappointed in the brand at all.

SALVATORE Recommendation: I was excited the day my Ergowear Review package arrived in the mail. I get new underwear quite often, but there is something exhilarating about receiving a brand you’ve never tried before. Ergowear has long been considered the “gold standard” in anatomically or ergonomically correct pouches by most experts. The first pair I pulled out was the FEEL SUAVE BIKINI. The second pair I pulled out was the MAX SUAVE BIKINI. The third pair I pulled out was the X3D BIKINI in turquoise.

I am definitely a fan of bikini briefs, but often reserve them for lounging and sleeping. This bikini is different. The fabric is unbelievably soft and the elastic in the waist and leg bands compliments the luxurious feel of the extravagant garment. I actually get more impressed every time I put anything Ergowear on my body. Their products are simply amazing.

Here are few things that stuck out to me:

  • Waistband: Because the brief is considered a true bikini, there is no large elastic waistband. I consider this to be a plus for someone that is looking for a low-rise pair of underwear without needing to give off the brand of briefs they are wearing. Not that there is anything wrong with the obnoxious waistband fad that is going around the men’s underwear industry right now. I kind of like it, but there are occasions where I don’t want my waistband visible when I bend over. This bikini does that without showing any crack. That’s important to a modest guy like me.
  • Ergowear Logo: The Ergowear logo is sewn front in center on the top of the brief where the waistband would be if it had one. This is simple and adds to the overall look of the brief. The logo calmly states that the wearer is fashionable and knows how to pick good undies. Some brands are over the top with their branding of products. The 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex blend is very soft, displays high elasticity, is a highly resistant fiber, and allows very little moisture absorption. One of the best I’ve ever put on.
  • Pouch: Pouches are my thing. I am constantly on the prowl for the most anatomical or ergonomical pouch on the market. I am even experimenting with custom made underwear where the pouch is custom fit to my dimensions. The pouch is the first thing I look at when deciding whether to add a pair of briefs to my collection. I can usually spot an imposter from miles away. The X3D pouch simply overwhelmed my senses. Not only is the fabric perfect, the pouch is perfect. The low profile seem is center sewn and combined with the highly elastic suave microfiber blend to give your boys the softest support and gentle lift that is indicative of a great ergonomic pouch. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

Ergowear has blown my fashion sense out of the water and reinvigorated my need to continue exploring the best pouches on the market. Every time I think my knowledge is at the top of its game, a unknown experience bounds into my undie world and totally lights the fire. Ergowear has been incredible to try and I look forward to adding several more X3D pouches to my collection. Most importantly, I can’t wait to get friends and family to try this incredible pouch. I’m blown away!

Next week, I’ll be sharing a bonus post. Candyman Fashion sent me an Ergowear style that I never wear and thought would be impossible to enjoy. Boy was I wrong. You don’t want to miss the next post. Admittedly, I’m a sucker for the waistband string bikini. That’s what this brief is all about. The shiny gold waistband mixes with the great color options put together by the brand to create a very sleek pair of underwear. I was impressed with the pouch from the get go. I could automatically tell that its anatomical design was flawless. I slipped on the bikini and the magic started immediately!

Because the brief is so perfect, I will highlight some of things that stood out most to me:

All in all, I have been super impressed with Ergowear. I posed this question in the Part I of the mini-series. I feel it is necessary to restate: How have I been testing and trying underwear for over 25 years and just now discovering ERGOWEAR? I almost shed a tear when I think that I could have started wearing this incredible brand since 2002. When they first emerged on the underwear scene. Can’t look back! Gotta keep looking forward.

Can’t wait to share my X3D story and bonus post with you in the next couple of weeks. If you have any feedback for me or just want to link up on social media, hit me up on Twitter @manatomicallyme. Until the PART III—See you later!

  • Waistband: I already commented on the great look of the glossy gold waistband. Even more impressive is the soft slimming fabric that just feels incredible. The band is an Ergowear signature that is 1 2/3” wide. The perfect width for a great look. This feature is not only attractive and sexy, it is functional in every sense of the word.
  • Center Seem in Seat: This completely rocked my undie world! The center seam in the seat of this brief not only felt great, it gave the rear ASSet a little lift that looked great in denim and workout wear. I figured the seam would irritate my hind parts, but it absolutely teemed with COMFORT. I loved the look and the feel.
  • Fabric: Let’s just say SUPER SOFT. Classic Ergowear! Nothing cheap about their products. Certainly the finest fabric went into this brief.
  • Pouch: You guys know that I’m a pouchy (my new word for pouch snob). What can I say—I love POUCHES. The MAX pouch was perfect for me. Great three dimensional fit that allowed my man parts to hang low and natural. The ergonomical design was flawless. This will be my conversion pouch. That simply means that I will refer people to the Ergowear Max Pouch for them to test drive.  To see if they want to move from a highly restrictive pouch to a more anatomical fit. I loved the MAX pouch.

EW0217 (2)MINI-SERIES INTRODUCTION

25 years ago. I embarked upon an underwear journey that began with discovery and exploration. A discovery of new styles, brands, and cuts, and an exploration of what I feel most comfortable wearing. The journey has been marked with several “aha” moments. That have left me speechless and, at times, baffled. Those moments have come to define my approach in attempting to find the best fitting and stylish underwear on the market.

A few years back, I stumbled upon the anatomical pouch through the purchase of an Andrew Christian Almost Naked Brief. Convinced that the anatomical and natural pouch was the only direction I needed to take in underwear selection. I purged nearly 100 pairs of designer briefs, trunks, and bikinis. Then began my personal quest to collect only underwear that were ergonomically correct in the front and center area. This has been a fun journey full of surprises. To date, I am nearing the 100 pair mark of anatomically correct briefs (my style of choice) in my collection.

This brings me to introduce this mini-series of post that will feature Ergowear and their pouches. The mini-series will consist of four posts. One for each of the Ergowear pouch styles and a bonus post that will deal with a shocker style that I never wear—at least until now! Grab some coffee, dim the lights, and enjoy these next few posts. Hopefully, you will identify with my remarks or be compelled to try out something that is reviewed.

This begs the question. That if I consider myself an underwear expert, how in the world had I never tried Ergowear? I’ve come to realize that sometimes even the most experienced underwear enthusiast misses something incredible.

As I carried the package inside, I went through my normal new underwear routine. I wen to my bathroom, opened the package, and enjoyed a few moments of solace with new arrivals. The first pair I pulled out was the FEEL SUAVE BIKINI.

Because I am a pouch snob, the first thing I did was go directly to the pouch. I was visually disappointed. But kind of expected it because I can typically tell by the pictures online if I am going to love a pouch or not. I did notice that the MINK color was pretty cool and almost completely match my skin tone. Nothing like having a nude pair of underwear to help you feel naked while wearing them. At any rate, I decided I that the FEEL pouch would be the first pair I would wear. So that I could work up to the pouches I was sure I would love. The other two Ergowear pouches are the MAX and X3D. I will talk about those in Part II and Part III of this mini-series.

I was taught early on in life to never judge a book by its cover. I am so glad I determined to wear the FEEL SUAVE BIKINI under jeans for an entire day while traveling. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED when I put on the bikini and discovered that the non-anatomical looking pouch was indeed a natural fit for my boys. The Ergowear Feel Pouch differs from most anatomical pouches because it is not form fitting. It doesn’t hug or envelope the package like most other pouches do. I’m not saying that I prefer this over the snug fitting pouch. I am saying that this is a great alternative and helps to mix it up a little. Because the pouch is what I look for first in a great pair of underwear, this got my review off to a great start.

The construction on the bikini is superior to almost anything I have every worn. The seat offers a slightly less than full coverage back-end and stayed in place all day long (even while in the car for several hour). The pouch felt natural and never left me feeling restricted or bound. Not only did the pouch give me a boost, the butt of the underwear gave me a full and round look (great under jeans). I simply did not want to take them off. I slept in them and worked out in them the next morning. This pair of underwear had everything that I look for in perfection—ergonomical pouch, soft fabric, great elastic, sexy color, and awesome appearance. I don’t know how Ergowear has been around since 2002 and I am just now slipping them on. I FULLY RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PAIR.

NOTE: Our guys are going to start profiling pairs we love. The first to report is Underwear Dude, we have a lot of new guys and new posts coming soon!

Hey all, I’m Sam, and I go by Underweardude on twitter. I’ve been into undies off and on for about a decade now. I’ve been apart of a couple articles already.  Most recently being one of the two straight guys on the conversation about thongs.

The pair that is my favorite pair right now is my Ergowear Max Sauve Gold Bikini in blue. There is a lot to like here. As soon as I saw it announced, I knew that I had to have this pair. Just something about how the colors looked. That shiny gold waistband, bright and loud but also somehow understated.  If gold can ever be called that. It looks classy, not trashy.

I love the suave fabric(95%Polyester/5%spandex). Such a nice feel, but doesn’t feel feminine either like I imagine silk might.  The design is nice, very low rise.  The rear is big enough to stay still, the pouch of course is as good as Ergowear’s usually are.

Its very comfortable.  I did discover that after a long day the part of the pouch that lifted you up could get uncomfortable. A quick reposition made short work of that, and that only occurred once, after about 10 hours of wear in. Also, when first putting on the pair.  The pouch feels like it’s at an odd angle, but once the pair is fully on it feels fine and normal. The pair felt slightly small to me upon first putting it on, but fits fine. I’m not 100% sure of my true waist dimensions so I’m not sure how true to their sizing charts it is. I got the pair through being a part of the GDDWorld Ambassador Program. But I would have definitely purchased it myself otherwise. You can get it through GGDWorld, and also through Ergowear themselves.  I bet through more than a few more sites as well.

Basically, like all the other Ergowear bikinis i’ve tried, I can’t wait to wear this pair again. It’s comfortable and looks good on me. What more can a guy want?
