BodyAware Underwear for Men

Category

It’s Swimwear Sunday! And this is our first swim thong of the season. The George Swim thong is brand new as of this week. BodyAware released it. It’s a different design from regular and skimper thongs and I thought it would make a great Swimwear Sunday pair!

The George Swim Thong has a really fun impressionist print. It’s not one I would expect to see in swimwear but I really love the pair! From the front, it looks like a swim brief with a black waistband but around back it’s a thong. It also has something a lot of thong swimsuits don’t have, a drawstring waistband. Most sim thong has just an elastic band. This could be a make or break for some guys. To me, it doesn’t bother me either way.

As I mentioned the back has a sculpted thong back and a brilliant sunshine yellow inner line. The back is made to enhance the look of your assets while wearing the pair. As you can see in the pic above it does a great job. This design I think would be a great first pair of swim thongs. The front is definitely flattering to many body types. Myself, a bigger guy, I would feel more comfortable wearing this pair than other pairs.

Lastly is the price, at $26 it’s very affordable for guys wanting to get a swim thong. Also, being from Bodyaware it’s going to be good quality for your money. I don’t think you will be disappointed with your purchase. I’m actually thinking of getting a pair for myself.

We have plenty of you guys out there who love super skimpy gear. One company that always delivers on fun and skimpy is BodyAware From thongs to bikinis, they always use great fabrics from lace to metallics. It just amazes me how they design a lot fo their gear. Then it amazes me how many of you guys can’t get enough of it! Glad to see like minded guys!

If you aren’t familiar with what a Tanga is, which is more of a European term for undies. It’s a pair of underwear with a pouch and fabric in the back and just strings on the side. It can be a tiny string or a wider elastic waistband. All are considered a tanga. But, I like to call this pair an extreme bikini!

One thing that you should know about this pair, other than it’s unbelievably sexy, is it’s underwear and can double as swimwear. But note if you wear for swimwear it’s not lined and there is no drawstring in the pair. This means you may be showing off everything you have! Which for many of you isn’t an issue.

The back is a Brazilian cut. Meaning that it’s not a fullback. BodyAware claims that the back will look good from any angle! If you have junk in the trunk, i’m sure it will look amazing on you!  The fabric is 55% nylon/ 30% polyurethane/15% spandex. The colors are Blue, Silver, and Red. All are Metallic fabrics!

I think a lot of you guys will love this pair. It’s sexy and skimpy but doesn’t give it all away. I think that’s why many of us love underwear. It’s a way to show off and look/feel sexy as hell!

PAIR: BodyAware MINI SPARKLER TANGA
COLORS: Blue, Silver, and Red
FABRIC: 55% nylon/ 30% polyurethane/15% spandex

Neoprene is a fabric that is in men’s underwear and swimwear a lot lately. The really cool thing is, it’s not necessarily fetish wear. There have been swim briefs, underwear and more. There is something about these pairs that are super fun! The shape of the pouch, the way it fits in the back, it just flatters a guy.

One of the new pairs is the Neoprene Bulge Tanga. Tanga is basically a string bikini with a waistband. There are no sides to the pair. You can check out more underwear 101 posts to find out more. As the name suggests it’s about the bulge! As I stated above neoprene just gives you an amazing bulge. It enhances what you have and pushes it out for the world to see. Which is not a bad thing at times. BodyAware says this about the pouch, “the shaped pouch and special seams on this alluring brief gives the wearer the appearance of bulging asset.”

This is a pair I want to try along with the Neoprene Bulge Brief they make. The brief can double as swimwear so I would assume this would too. The only thing I wonder is wearing this all day. Neoprene is not a breathable fabric. Maybe not wear in the middle of summer. But would you wear it to work? This is a pair I would wear selectively. For sure it would be a date night pair. I mean drop the pants for neoprene! Heck yeah!

If you’re in the market for some super fun undies. I think we have a winner right here. BodyAware makes some amazing and sexy undies! Step outside your box and try something new. Neoprene, Lace, Satin, Mesh…Just go for it!

Wanting to stay warm while working out or just hanging around the house. BodyAware has released a few new leggings/joggers that may be perfect for you. They range from some you may wear to the gym and some you may have to wear in private. Let’s face it BodyAware always makes super sexy and fun gear.

Chiffon Camo Jogger

Camo is always a popular choice these days. BodyAware has always made fun camo with their own twist. The Chiffon Camo Jogger is no different. It features:

  • Slightly transparent and lightweight material
  • Printed with a desert or jungle camo print
  • Come below the knee
  • Has pockets
  • 100% Polyester
  • Retails: $36.95

The Pleather Jogger

If you want a pair of runners that makes a bit more of a statement, try the Pleather jogger. It’s a faux look that is made for everyday wear. The features of these joggers are:

  • Super sexy wet look – Wet leather inspired look
  • soft waistband, ankle cuffs, and back pocket
  • Goes down to the ankle
  • Retails for $45.95

Find these and more on the BodyAware site.

Thong Thursday is about celebrating thongs! But it’s not always about classic thongs. In the last year bodysuits for men are seeing an increase in popularity. Not just ones for working out but, ones for everyday wear. This includes having a thong back. More and more of these suits are ditching the reg back and going for a thong!

The company on the forefront of the Bodysuit is BodyAware. One of the thong backed suits they have is the Yoga Thong Bodysuit.  The official description is:

Our all-in-one bodysuit is designed with a thong seat and racer back. Sleekly sexy, constructed of super soft and smooth sports fabric, that will slim and display your masculine profile at its best. Perfect for yoga or any sport. Thong back with no opening between legs.

This suit can be worn working out or under casual clothes. I wouldn’t recommend it for work. The one thing above that makes that point is “no opening between legs.” This makes it difficult to go to the bathroom. You must remove it to go! For a casual day this may not be an issue but at work, it may prove difficult. You don’t want to have removed all your clothes! If you want to wear one to work look for one with an opening between legs. BodyAware does have several of them.

This would, however, be awesome for the gym. You can wear it under shorts or runners. I know we have quite a few readers who would love this at the gym or to work out in. The best thing is that it’s available in 5 different colors. Black, blue, pink, red and yellow! If you want to try a bodysuit we suggest you check out this and other ones BodyAware has to offer.

Satin underwear for men is gaining popularity. BodyAware is one of the companies at the forefront of satin undies. They have released a few new pairs for you to consider. One of the pairs is the Glistening Satin Pouch Brief. One big gripe I have heard from guys on Satin undies is that it doesn’t stretch or doesn’t have a pouch. This pair has a built-in pouch that should hold you very well!

They even point this out in their official description!

Glistening satin in a bold design. BodyAware’s unique pouch styling is structured for an uplifting fit. Pouch design is shaped to anatomical perfection for a perfect silhouette, while avoiding the dreaded squeezing and scrunching that you find with other brands. Sumptuous BodyAware elastic that feels soft and lays perfectly against your waist with no binding. Shaped full back.

If you want something outside of your normal box, this is the pair I would suggest. Especially if you wanted to try satin undies. This is the perfect starter pair.

COLORS: black, lavender, pink and mint
FABRIC: 93% nylon/ 7% spandex
SIZES: Small – XX-Large
COST: $19.00

Do you like super skimpy? Undies that cover what it needs too but still looks sexy? I know we have many guys who think skimpy is better. You love undies that give you great support but don’t get in the way. The new Italian Transparent Tactel Tanga is a pair that is all that above.

BodyAware has been a company that steps outside of the men’s underwear box and make something awesome. The new Tang is made out of an Italian Tactel fabric. BodyAware says this about the fabric: “This latest top quality European fabric supports with less bulk and superior softness. Up-to-the-minute technology combined with high Lycra content provides perfect breathability and freshness.” The fabric is slightly see-through, meaning it will show off the goods but not give it all away. To me making it a perfect date night or Valentine’s Day pair.

This pair is a Tanga. Which to most American’s is an “It’s a what?”  A Tanga to me and easiest to describe is more of a string bikini. It has a pouch in front, thin sides and almost a fullback. It gives you more freedom around the sides. This cut is perfect for an active guy at work or one that wants to feel sexy under his suit.

The colors are ones you don’t typically see in men’s underwear. BodyAware is not one afraid to venture into the feminine side of underwear. It’s actually one of their strengths. Colors are Black, Cerise (pinkish), Turquoise, Nude, and Purple. Each of these are more on the pastel side. Which are not colors we typically see in the world of men’s underwear. It really works thought. BodyAware is a company that has challenged what I thought was men’s underwear and made me think of new things.

If you love fun underwear give this a look! I don’t think you will be disappointed.

BRAND: BodyAware
COLORS: Black, Cerise (pinkish), Turquoise, Nude, and Purple
FABRIC: Italian Tactel
SIZES: Small – 2XL
COST: $19.99

The first style I ever fell in love with is bikinis. I loved the look and fit of them. They gave me the support I craved but lacked in the tighy whities from big box stores. When I turned 16 I got to buy all my undies. That meant no more white briefs and only bikinis in bright colors. It wasn’t till I was about 21 that I finally bought a pair of white undies. By the way, that pair was a white bikini. We flash forward many years and we may be on the next wave of bikinis in men’s underwear.

I predict this because underwear is not just or gay men anymore. As evident by our staff, more straight guys want the comfort of great underwear. They refuse to wear boxers or boxer briefs. They want support and fashion. This means they are experimenting with smaller styles. Then they discover how awesome they are!

Using purely unscientific methods, over the last few years, I have noticed a lot more bikinis coming out. If you follow the definition of Bikinisnthongs on Twitter, these fit that definition. One brand that has consistently had a bikini is Cocksox. The CX01 is their original and best seller. It’s one they, I think they will always sell.

Another brand that is great at producing bikinis is BodyAware. Look on their site right now and you will see Tangas, bikinis and more. One of my favorite bikinis I have is the Endowed Brief from BodyAware. It’s the true definition of bikini and fits great. This silhouette is in many pairs on the site. The Bodycon and Cowboy briefs are two of the bikinis they offer. Both are styles I would gladly wear.

I hear many of you going, yes but two brands don’t make a movement. Yes, that is true. The vast majority of brands don’t have traditional bikinis. They have briefs but nothing that is skimpy. This is not something we are going to have happened overnight. When I started UNB, boxer briefs were the craze in men’s underwear. Now we are moving to briefs and smaller trunks.

I think going forward the men’s underwear market is going to segmented. No longer into gay and straight but those who love undies and comfort and those who haven’t discovered it yet. I think I can officially say the gay/straight is gone. We are just guys who love amazing undies.

If you would have told me in 2008, when I started UNB, that thongs would be popular in 2017. I would have thought, nice to see the market move back to skimpy gear! However, if you said many of the thong lovers would be straight boys, I would have said you were crazy. That is the situation today, more guys on both sides of the sexual spectrum are rocking the thongs.

One brand that spans the sexual orientation divide is BodyAware. They make great undies that we are personally loving. The pair we think you will like is the Bodycon thong. First, this pair is made with a 3D pouch. Meaning that the pouch “allows everything to be gently pushed to the forefront.” Like most of our readers, a pouch is something super important to me. This pair has a great pouch. I haven’t tried this pair but it looks similar to the “Well endowed brief” from a few years ago.

Next, is the design. It has a traditional cut but with a Brazilian back. In a brief/bikini I am not a fan but this with the little bit of a wider back. Which, I think really fits this pair really well. Mix that with the red seam in the back and I love it. It’s one I may have to try sooner or later.

The fabric of this pair is Luxurious tactel fabric, 85% nylon, 15% spandex. BodyAware really uses awesome fabrics in their underwear. You will feel super sexy and be 100% comfortable. The thong comes in four colors as well. The colors are White, Black, blue and nude.

The last thing about this pair is the price. It retails for $19.99, which isn’t bad for a pair of underwear. BodyAware makes awesome undies at a great price. They have never been super expensive. They are affordable for most underwear lovers. If you like the look of the Bodycon thong, head over to BodyAware and get it!

Being the editor of an underwear blog, I have to be open-minded and willing to try anything. I have tried some interesting things over the almost 9 years of UNB. From the not so crazy (thongs and jocks), to more cutting edge (Lace and Satin) to some really fun fetishwear. I”m usually up for anything.

Just recently I want to try a body suit. Not just any body suits but one from BodyAware. I don’t know why I have this sudden urge to wear one. I have never worn one but have seen many suits over my life. The ones that have caught my eye have been those with a jock or thong background. I think this may stem from me wanting a men’s gymnastic suit (the one they wear under the pants and shorts) when I was younger. I always thought they were awesome.

BodyAware has more of the Thong back bodysuits. I’m not sure I could wear one all day. But the Modern Jock Bodysuit (pictured above) is one I would love to try out. The bodysuit has one drawback, it’s difficult to go to the bathroom. Most I have seen you have to take completely off, which makes it impractical for everyday or work wear. I mean they would look at little strange at you at work, at the urinal taking off your shirt.

A bodysuit is something that would be a limited war situation. Like out to a movie or something low key. I don’t want to wear it all day and all night. This one I find super sexy because of the black color. Black is super sexy and they tell me slimming. Also, it looks amazing. Granted, I won’t look like the model in it but wearing under a button up shirt would be great. Because, your undershirt aka bodysuit, wouldn’t ride up or come untucked. This is one of the biggest advantages for me. Being a bigger guy in size and height. It can be a pain to have to constantly tuck in my shirt. Lastly, the jock back gives it a bit of a naughty feel to me, which is a good thing. Just will give me that extra bounce in my step.

I’m still debating what I want, but I will keep you guys posted. If you think I should try another let me know in the comments below. Or if you have tried them now let me know how you like them!

When you think industrial you think of architecture. It’s not a term that is usually used in underwear. BodyAware created a new line called industrial. Knowing the underwear that BodyAware comes up with, you can guarantee that it will be fun and a little over the top. The over the top is a good thing in the world of underwear, it adds excitement.

The new Industrial line comes in the Brief, Tank, Short and Booty Short. The entire collection is black, I will say this line would be awesome in some primary colors but the black makes it super sexy. They mix solid black fabric and mesh.

Industrial Brief

Looking to show off a little? The Industrial briefs are for you! The front is a mix of the industrial mesh and micro mesh through mesh. It will show off all your hard work. Here is what BodyAware says: Featuring a lightweight and sleek stretch fabric with glossy industrial net insets at hip for a peek of skin.  The textured net front pouch has a comfortable contouring seam down the front and is lined in a soft micromesh to allow a bit of show-through without compromising your modesty or comfort.  Retails for $25.95 on the BodyAware site.

Industrial Tank

The Industrial Tank is one not for the shy. It’s similar to the Industrial brief. It’s the industrial mesh over the micro mesh. What BodyAware says: With a detailed design featuring a sleek stretch net with glossy texture for just a peek of skin. The textured net front is lined in a soft micromesh to allow a bit of show-through without compromising your comfort. Retails for $28.95

Industrial Shorts

The Industrial Short is something for the more modest. Well, in a way. The PVC material gives it a leather/rubber look with the industrial mesh sides. See, I said more modest not modest. Here is what BodyAware says: Slick and shiny, the PVC Industrial Short features a 4-needle waistband for extra comfort and wide side panel of glossy industrial net.  The net is stretchy and comfortable against the skin, with a subtle glistening inlay.   Structured and contoured front pouch that is comfortable and gives plenty of room for your boys. Retails for $25.95

Industrial Booty Shorts

The Industrial Booty Short is for those who want more coverage but still want to show off some! It’s the same pouch as the Industrial brief. However, the back is all about the booty. It’s a half cut in the back. It shows off all the junk in the trunk. Not a thong but will give someone quite a view. BodyAware says: An extremely provocative pair of booty shorts made from a lightweight and sleek stretch fabric with glossy industrial net insets at hip for a peek of skin. The textured net front pouch has a comfortable contouring seam down the front and is lined in a soft micromesh to allow a bit of show-through without compromising your modesty or comfort. Retails for $24.95

If you love the Industrial line head over to the BodyAware site!

Bodyaware has been one of the leading companies in design for fun and fashion in men’s underwear since 1998. If you’re ready to shake up your underwear collection, Bodyaware has a new brief called the Poseidon. They are very similar to their Greek God Brief, except the back vertical seam is gathered. These new briefs are available now. I have not tried this pair of briefs yet, but they definitely are on my list of ones that I want to try.

The new Poseidon brief comes in red which is always sexy color or aqua which is a fun color. The front comfort pouch is seamless and the back is shaped and gathered with a vertical center seam to give you lift and contour for that perfect fit and nice looking back side.

The smooth and subtly sparkling glistenette fabric of nylon and spandex will slide over your skin like alabaster. With the majority of the material made of nylon the brief is going to be very breathable, which I think is essential for all underwear. The nylon material will make you feel like you’re almost wearing nothing and the spandex will give you that perfect fit but still give you movement to be able to wear them all day long. Guys can wear these briefs to the work, to sleep in, date night, or anywhere.

This pair of briefs is machine wash which is key for me; since I don’t have time to hand wash my briefs. The material is described of something that sounds silky smooth, but breathable. I also like the small waist band.

If you are ready to shake up your underwear collection with a pair that is made in the USA, you should get a pair of the Poseidon briefs. I haven’t tried these out yet, but I want to get a pair. They are available now. For more information or to order go to www.bodyaware.com.

Bodyaware has been one of the leading companies in design for fun and fashion in men’s underwear since 1998. If you’re ready to step out of the board shorts and get some sun on your legs, Bodyaware has a new swim brief called the Bam Bam. I’m assuming the name comes from the leopard print. Or possibly a color the Flintstones might have fashioned. These swim briefs are available now to prepare for your summer fun. I have not worn this brand of swim briefs before, but I may have to try this pair.

The new Bam Bam swim brief comes in a white color with black and light blue leopard spots animal print. The front pouch has a soft structured seam down the front. It is lined on the inside with a brilliant contrast panel. while the back is full with a center seam. One of the unique features of this swim brief is the metallic silver rings on either side of the front pouch. To give you more of a nude look.

They are made of 85% nylon and 15% spandex to give you fitted feel but enough stretch for movement. With the majority of the material made of nylon the swim briefs are going to be quick drying. Which I think is essential for all swimwear. The 85% nylon should make you feel like you’re almost wearing nothing. Guys can wear these swim briefs to the beach, the pool, or lounging around at home in the back yard. Be brave this summer and break away from those board shorts and get some sun on your legs.

This pair of swim briefs is machine or hand wash which is key. Summer is too busy and doesn’t last long enough so I need to be able to machine wash. The Bam Bam swim briefs are definitely more revealing than board shorts, but it’s summer and hot be brave. As small as the swim briefs are and with the material type. It won’t take long for your swimwear to dry after you take a dip in the water.

If you are in the market for some new swimwear this summer, be confident and let your inner caveman out. With a pair of Bam Bam swim briefs. I haven’t tried these out yet, but I will probably get a pair. They are available now, so hurry before they run out. For more information or to order go to www.bodyaware.com.

We are a firm believer at UNB that guys should wear whatever they feel the best wearing. It can be a thong, boxer briefs, silk, mesh, cotton or spandex. This extends to guys of all sizes and shapes. No one should have to be limited to wearing something because styles aren’t made in your size. Currently, many brands don’t make underwear over the size 38-inch waist. Speaking as a guy who’s over this size, it can be frustrating to find underwear, only to find out it’s not for you.

BodyAware is taking this on! They are going to start making underwear in 3XL sizing. This is great news for bigger guys everywhere.

What is BodyAware doing?

They are believers in that all guys should wear great undies. They are going to expand a few of their lines to 3XL starting this month. Then they will be expanding the sizing over the next few months. It’s great to see another company take this step. Here is their words from their blog post announcing the extended sizing.

The idea of being/feeling sexy doesn’t just limit itself to the clothes you wear; it also applies your underwear! People who are bigger deserve to have sexy underwear that flatters their body, rather than only reserving the skin-tight, revealing underwear to those who have “socially-acceptable” body sizes. If someone wants to wear a sexy thong, then gosh darn it, they should be able to wear a thong, even if they’re plus-size!

Here at BodyAware, we’re aware of this issue in the world of fashion, so we’re doing what we can to make everyone feel included by offering size 3XL in many of our popular styles!

What is BodyAware Offering in Extended sizing:

This is a list of what is currently out or will be out soon. Over the next few months, there will be more styles and colors in extended sizing. Note some styles may be limited in colors.

If you are in the need of expanded sizing or want to support a company who is doing it. Go shop at BodyAware now!. Note, that I couldn’t find a bigger guy in BodyAware undies so I had to use a regular picture.
