The Popsicle G is very similar in design and feel to its thong cousin, the Raider X G.  Like its cousin, the Popsicle G has a particular problem with its thong length.  The Popsicle G does for N2N’s swimwear what the Raider X G does for N2N’s thongs: it shows off the butt and “enhances” certain features (whether or not you need the “enhancing” in the first place).  The Popsicle G features slightly more nylon than the Raider X G(87% vs 86%) in the fabric blend (87% nylon, 17% spandex), but otherwise it feels just like the Raider down to the elastic waistband.  This includes the lack of slack in the thong part of the Popsicle. My pair was dark pink with yellow stenciling, though N2N does give you a choice of yummy colors including: raspberry, glacial blue, lime, orange, and lemon ice.

I had an opportunity to give the Popsicle G a thorough trial in a private, deserted pool, Which was a good thing since the Popsicle became so uncomfortable while swimming around that I opted to just take it off completely and swim naked.  Most of the irritation was from the lack of slack in the thong strap, which loops under the butt to join at the “enhancing” pouch in front.  If there was a little more give in the pouch, the Popsicle G would be really comfortable to wear while swimming, and I am certain that it would grab plenty of attention!

Hi everyone!  I’m the new UNB reviewer/writer, Brad.  For my first time out, I have test-driven a pair of Frank Dandy Originals boxer-briefs.  Overall I really like them–good fit, comfortable cut, very comfortable fabric blend.  They are a really comfortable pair of underwear.

The Frank Dandy Originals boxer-brief is a normal boxer-brief trunk cut made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane.  The elastic waist band is black with “Frank Dandy” in white lettering around the waist.  The boxer-brief is white with “Frank Daddy” in multicolored stenciling all over the boxer-brief.

I test-wore the boxer-briefs a couple of times to make sure I had a good idea of how they would perform while I was at work, the gym and just out and about.  I was very pleased with how well they performed.  At times it was like I wasn’t wearing anything at all!  Very comfortable to sit in all day (with or without other clothes on…), even when traveling in a car in Georgia’s humid spring heat!  I was a bit concerned with the gym since in my experience boxer-briefs tend to bunch up during crunches and cardio.  To my surprise, the Frank Dandy Originals stayed perfectly in place during my entire workout with no irritation at all!  Just like when I wore them through a normal day, it felt like I was wearing nothing at all at the gym.  Add to that they are easy to maintain: throw them in with your colored laundry on a cold wash, then stick them in the dryer and you’re done.

On the whole I had very few complaints about these boxer-briefs.  The first complaint I had was that they were a bit looser than what I was expecting.  I prefer my briefs and boxer-briefs to be nice and tight on me and these were a smidge too loose.  But this is a very minor complaint.  My major complaint was the styling on the boxer-briefs.  I felt at times like I was wearing a “happy birthday” banner as my underwear because of the bright, multi-colored Frank Dandy logo stenciled all over the white of the Originals.  It might have looked better if there had only been a couple of colors used in the stenciling, but five bright colors were a bit much.  That said, in the scheme of things these are fairly minor complaints.

It wasn’t exactly love at first sight with the first pair of underwear I was given for this, my first review for Underwear News Briefs.  But then love is blind and you’d almost have to be when you set your eyes on the Frank Dandy Fish Trunk.  Radioactive sea-foam green meets Christmas red piping are a color combination that did indeed make me smile throughout the day—you know, just the thought of wearing brave colors under khakis is a cheery notion, but the screen-printed koi motif prevented me from walking around the locker room in my skivvies.

Now, I promise this review will get more favorable if you stay with me, gentle reader, but allow me one more cynicism: Functional-fly briefs are usually suspect in my book because the pouch region is usually never adequate in them.  I require a lot of room up front, and fly briefs never seem to have the contoured pouch I prefer and I usually end up mitigating the Great Garment-Scrotal War, which is not attractive at a cocktail party to say the least.  But behold!  The Frank Dandy Fish Trunks were comfortable and supportive, and my cows didn’t try to escape.  The overlapped panels of the fly adjusted to my package and kept everything up and out.  So nicely supported was I that I wore them later that afternoon to the gym in lieu of my usual Bike jock.  The rear panel hugged nicely too I might add.

What I did like

  • the ample pouch
  • good butt underwear

Editors Note: Nick is a new writer/reviewer for UNB. Nick is an Atlanta-area underwear enthusiast who is always on the look-out for a great supportive pair of underwear or jockstrap. Briefs with pants. Jockstraps with jeans and gym gear. He usually goes commando in shorts all summer.

If you’re anything like me, you have too many pairs of underwear and find yourself standing in front of your underwear drawer trying to figure out what to wear for a night out on a date or to hang with friends.  I personally tend to gravitate towards the same pairs every time, but I tend to want to wear something different.  I decided to find what I liked about one of my favorite pairs of underwear and use that to see what else I can add to my favorites I often choose.

A great pair of underwear I absolutely love is the C-in2 Core Lo No-Show Profile Brief.  I really like this pair of briefs because they are comfortable, have a great fit, have a form-fitting style (snug without pinching or feeling tight), and the construction materials (cotton) are outstanding.  This pair looks and feels great under jeans and it doesn’t lose its shape, even after a long day of wear.

The pouch is another thing I like about this pair.  I like the pouch because it helps lift the package without trying too hard to accentuate it which, with some brands, tends to look silly and result in a poor fit.  As a daily briefs wearer, it’s a nice break from my everyday briefs.  This pair adds sex appeal, thanks to the complementing cut, great fit, and featured enhancements.

Taking my own advice, I looked thru my underwear drawer and came up with other styles that have similar qualities, adding them to my list of favorites.

  • Armani Exchange Hip Brief. This pair of underwear provides a great fitting pouch and its low cut style keeps it from sagging in the back.  This is a great feature under tighter fitting jeans.  Additionally, wearing Armani adds a touch of class and style.
  • N2N Waistband Bikini. The pouch on this underwear is amazing.  It adjusts itself around the goods and adds great enhancement plus the high cut on the legs adds confidence and allure.
  • 2(x)ist No-Show Brief. I can’t say enough about this style of briefs.  I own several pairs and they never disappoint.  They are an all around great fit and come in assorted colors and fabrics.
  • Puma Jockstrap. Jockstraps, themselves, are just sexy.  This particular jock is great because it’s part of a brand known for its masculinity, thus adding athleticism and sex appeal.  The pouch contours itself around you, giving you a defined package.

Let us know your favorite par for a night out!

Check out these hot new styles from Rufskin with the introduction of their California Vintage Line. The line is inspired by California college sport history and is evident in the sporty cuts and collegiate colors of the t-shirts and underwear.

Each piece in the line is named after a location or a city in California. Underwear styles range from euro-cut jock straps to various cuts of briefs and boxer briefs. Tees and tanks and a unique wrestling singlet round out the line. The college inspired design is most obvious in the color options. The blues, greys, whites and pops of color like yellow remind me of old school sports team jackets.

My favorite standouts from the line are the Carmel brief and San Onofre boxer breif. Here are the specs on each.

Carmel brief:

Side “power mesh” panel brief with classic strip waist band with CA vintage label

  • Fabric is knitted 95% Cotton 5% Spandex
  • Color choices are Grey with white panel, Royal blue with yellow panel (my favorite), and all white.

San Onofre boxer brief

Rufskin’s latest boxer-brief with button fly and contrast stitching with underlining cut in the back.

  • Fabric is knitted 95% Cotton 5% Spandex
  • Color choices are White or Navy.

I absolutely love this line and think it’s going to be hugely popular. The color choices and styling will appeal to a wide audience and will look good with just about anything. The cuts give the line a feel of both preppy and sporty. The panels of color and piping details give the line just the dose of fun that it needs. The wrestling singlet aside, I could see myself wearing these all the time (not much time to wrestle nowadays) . Rufskin continues their tradition of style and sexiness with this line. Can’t wait to try them out!

You can check out these or all the great underwear at the Rufskin site!

Though it’s starting to get quite cold outside, there is still plenty of reason to spice it up inside. If you need some help finding spice, look no further than Croota. They are known for making awesome underwear and swimwear at an awesome price.

Surfers Paradise is a great pair of underwear. Not only does the fabric itself have a design but the waistband has one also. For me, it’s the little things that count and this is certainly one of those things. When you combine that with the witty sayings on the waistband, this makes it a great pair of underwear and something worth buying. Since there is so little fabric, there is little room for error and makes this underwear so so comfortable. It survived all day which is pretty hectic these days, so that’s saying a lot.

The Surfers Paradise is comprised of 95% Cotton and 5% Polyurethane. Although there isn’t much fabric on there to start, what little fabric is there is very very very comfortable. It’s a great pair of underwear, and if you’re lacking something creative in your drawer, you need to check the Surfers Paradise out. Besides the blue plaid color, there is also a purple color that deserves a look as well, even though blue is a waaay better color.

Ties make everything better, it’s a fact. Guess what? This pair of underwear comes with a tie. I feel like I could end this review right here simply because of that awesomeness. However, as awesome as that may be, there is more to this underwear to just a tie and you’ll see that below.

The underwear (and tie presumably) are made of 93% Polyester and 7% Spandex which is rather comfortable and the shiny look makes for an interesting feel – a feeling that you’ve always got to adjust yourself. That feeling aside, it has a great look and that black shine gives it a very sexy look. The added gold rank indicators increase the sexiness factor tenfold. Another thing about Candyman boxerbriefs is that they are somewhat large. They are about twice as long as a Gigo boxerbriefs and they aren’t tight fitting if you have a standard waist size. This may be good to some and bad to others. It’s really up to you on how to take it.

Candyman has an interesting feel. It is “Costume Underwear” so you might not want to wear it during the workday or during an intense workout. However, if you’re just relaxing, preparing for Halloween, or a random costume party, then this is the perfect underwear for you.

Andrew Christian.  Comfortable…for sure, mainstream…almost, good underwear…definitely.  All of my AC pairs have a feel that can’t be matched by other brands.  They have a silky smooth feel and are always a boost in the day.  Couple that with good colors and you’ve got yourself a winner in the underwear drawer.  Length is something of an issue these days too and boxers with a reasonable length are a plus.

I actually put these FlexSoft boxers through quite the test of class and a pretty intense workout.  They held up pretty dang well.  I will say I’m not a fan of the pouch technology.  It’s not a strike against them, but something I don’t like industry wide.  That being said, this is still good underwear and the pouch isn’t something that you have to take advantage of.  If you do like pouches, however, then you’ll love the Show-It feature offered by Andrew Christian.  All said and done, this pair can handle a full day with a little bunching here and there, but it’s not unexpected.

The parts of this underwear shed a little light on its good feeling.  The material would be Rayon…93% of it to be exact.  The other 7% is a comfy stretch, thanks to spandex.  Those materials make up an awesome pair of underwear with two great color schemes.   It’s a must have.  If you want that almost mainstream look with that amazing feel, the FlexSoft Boxer is the pair for you.

Andrew Christian is probably the brand that has a chance to make designer underwear mainstream.  Usually, I really like the brand because it fits and feels great.  This pair looks great, but I did have a few issues with the pouch technology.  Those issues aside, it was a pretty good pair of underwear.  If you love pouch underwear that makes you use the pouch, then you’ll love this pair.

Like usual, the fabric is 90% Cotton and 10% Spandex.  That’s always a good combination.  I really enjoy the piping on the side.  The waistband is also comfortable with the Anti-Muffin technology.

I put these through the daily grind and I was actually a bit disappointed.  I know underwear companies these days keep putting pouches in underwear.  Frankly, I do not know why.  I find them to be terribly annoying and extremely uncomfortable.  I only know of a few companies, or pairs even, that manage to get it right.  If you have the pouch design, you need to make it so that you don’t have to use the pouch if desired.

That being said, it’s still a pretty decent pair of underwear.  Like I said before, if you like the pouch, then you’ll probably love this pair.  If you don’t like the pouch, then you won’t.  It’s all up to the wearer.

Summer 2010 is upon us.  I sure hope you have something exciting to wear to the beach and the pool this year.  If you don’t, there’s no need to worry!  There is still hope coming to you from Croota.

The White Austar sports some pretty awesome designs.  Each section has some sort or writing or logo, giving you a total of four to complete a seriously awesome look. It’s a great looking pair and though white swimwear has a special place in my heart, this pair has an even more special place where it’s well deserved.

Like the other pair of Croota swimwear I have, this pair is made of 85% cotton and 15% Spandex.  It has what I think is something to protect the privates from showing when the suit gets wet.  With that nifty add-on, it’s a really comfortable swimsuit.  You should check out this pair.  With its great price, you will definitely want to add it to your collection.

Mundo Unico always makes good stuff and the Fresco is certainly an example of that fact.  Being form fitting, it’s extremely comfortable and rather stylish.  This is a perfect pair of underwear and it’s always a treat to wear.  If you’re someone that likes athletic shorts and whatnot, then you will love this underwear.

The pair survived the typical test and it did so with flying colors.  It was nothing but the best from Unico.  That wasn’t unexpected.  I attribute most of that to the design that Unico has mastered and the unique mix of 82% Nylon and 18% Spandex.  This is one of those rare pairs that earned a five on each rating for good reason.

Unico knows how to make seriously good underwear. It’s super comfortable and the pouch isn’t intrusive.  It’s not so much a pouch as it is great front support.  The other part is the breathability.  The mesh factor is something I really enjoyed and haven’t seen much of in underwear these days.

It’s pretty amazing what some companies are doing these days with their underwear designs.  Croota is definitely one of those amazing companies.  The Blue Tang is a work of art in itself with its unique outside design.  Combine it with the stitching, logo, and waistband and you have yourself one awesome pair of underwear.

As you may or may not know, Croota is what I would consider a “sassy brand”, or one that gives little thought to the opinions of others, giving it an awesome factor. You have the wittiness on the site and you also have it in the underwear label itself. Check this new brand out.  It’s going to explode soon!

Just like the other Croota pair I’ve reviewed, this is made of 95% cotton and 5% Spandex, yet it looks like no other underwear.  It’s really stunning and sticks out when you open the undies drawer, causing it to be one of the first pairs worn every time you make a choice.  If you’re looking for that pair of underwear to complete your collection and at a price that won’t break the bank, check out the Blue Tang!

Though it may seem I am wowed often, I’m actually not.  That is, except for now!  I have one of the greatest pairs of underwear imaginable.  The brand gives a middle finger to the world style.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, head to their homepage at http://croota.com and you’ll see.

Speaking of that middle finger to the world, there’s a bit of humor as well as some serious individuality.  What’s that humor you ask?  You’ll have to find out for yourself.  It’s on the label and it should give you quite a laugh.  The waistband is cool with the right amount of accentuation with the mixture of red, black, and white.

This fine pair is constructed of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, equaling 100% of harmony.  I cannot get over how comfortable and natural feeling it is.  This stuff is perfect and the prices can’t be beat.  If you’re looking for some great underwear from down under, perfect for your down under, then look no further than the Croota Neo Night collection.

It’s that time of the year…Summer!  More importantly, swimwear time is upon us.  If you’re like me, then your collection has quite a few new swimsuits from down under, most being shorter than your usual American swimsuit.

Croota is a new, shorter swimwear collection.  One of two pairs I’ve received, the Surfers Paradise, is quite interesting.  Being someone that has never worn a shorter-than-board short swimsuit, I’ve been pleasantly surprised and I definitely recommend this pair to all who need to spice up their swimwear collection!

This interesting pair of swimwear is made of 85% Cotton and 15% Spandex, making for a quite comfortable combination.  Granted, I’m not completely sure what it is, but there is a second layer of material on the front that seems to be extra protection against visibility of the front.  I may be completely wrong.  That gives this pair a sort of hidden feature style that I like.  Head on over to Croota.com and check it out!

How much is in a name? Moreover, how much does the name of something influence your purchase? If your like me, the chances are you get the object with the more interesting name. Now, to be completely truthful, there aren’t that many boring underwear brand names. Gigo, Funkytown, Boys and their Hardware, those all seem pretty interesting don’t they? Well the last one, carries quite a bit of individuality with it. Something a lot of brands don’t carry, but they should. Now the name, “Boys and their Hardware”, it sounds pretty creative doesn’t it? A little risque even?

I received the super dude pair, and let me tell you, it’s blue, very very blue. Coupled with the blue is the red piping, and then the Superdude logo on the front. It’s got a dull white waistband, with the “Boys and their Hardware” repeated around. The composition of the pair is cotton and elastic, but with no percentage on the underwear, but the website lists it at 90% cotton and 10% elastic. Throw all of that together, and you’ve got yourself a nice pair of underwear, very comfortable. Let me stress that again, it is very very comfortable.

I put these through the daily grind, and they held up like champs. I’m not really a fan of how long the legs are, but that’s more of a style problem, and not a brand one. That being said, they were comfortable, they didn’t bunch, and they look great. If your in the market for a new pair, definitely give Boys and their Hardware a look! You won’t be disappointed, and you’ll find some seriously great pairs for your collection.

Candid is a new brand to me and as much as new things scare me, I wasn’t afraid at all to try this amazing looking pair of underwear.  Simple and plaid pretty much spell perfect to me.  This pair is pretty dang close to perfect.

New things may scare me, but they are also in some ways exciting.  I guess you would call it the thrill or maybe being blindly bold.  Granted, underwear isn’t life or death, but if you’ve ever had a bad experience with say…zippered underwear, then there is a just cause to be afraid.  The pair I received, black and pink plaid, were not scary looking at all and they felt great as well, thanks to being 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex.

Want to know how they survived during a normal day?  Like normal, I wore the undies before I reviewed them and I also put them through the usual routine.  They passed with flying colors with no bunching.  There was one thing that was intriguing though…the waistband.  I find most waistbands to be pretty stretchy.  This one is not.  It’s set in its way!  I was worried about it before I put them on, but after they were on for a while, there were no problems at all.  Pretty much golden!  Go ahead and give this great pair of underwear a try!

If I say, “costume underwear”, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?  A giant pair of briefs for a Halloween outfit or is it a whole brand of underwear that is unrivaled in its creativity?  If you picked the second one, then there’s a good chance you have heard of Candyman Fashion.  They don’t make your standard underwear.  They make your outrageous underwear.  If you love to be the center of the attention at a party when your pants come down, then I recommend you read on to learn about quite possibly the most exciting underwear known.

What makes up the perfect party underwear you ask?  It’s simple: 92% Polyester, 8% Spandex, some screen-printing, and some foam ears.  Put all of that together and you’ve got yourself the Elephants Tusk underwear.  You may think that foam ears may be uncomfortable or create an awkward bulge in your pants, but they are neither.  I actually found the ears to be arm support when you’re reading or working on your laptop.  Some serious creative points go to Candyman for that.  You probably have one other question.  If it’s elephant themed, where’s the trunk?  Let me answer it this way…there is a hole in the front.  Use your imagination!

When these arrived, I saved them for Friday and decided they would be my casual Friday pair.  For the most part, they were pretty comfortable.  A little loose, especially at the legs, but other than that, there was a fair amount of support.  I do see the screen-printing coming off after a few washes unless you are extremely careful washing them.  The support stitching that connects the ears to the rest of the pair seems skimpy and something to keep an eye on for sure.

Though there are the good and bad points, the goods do make this pair well worth the cost for the smile it will bring to everyone seeing them.  If you enjoy flaunting your underwear, then you NEED these.  If not, these will certainly get you to that point.  Candyman has other pairs that have a little less 3D to them, so be sure to check back at UNB the rest of the week to see the reviews on other underwear styles they have to offer!

I’m sure at one point in your life, you’ve wanted to be a doctor, nurse, or wear a white coat with the purpose of helping people.  If that career path didn’t work out, there is always hope of being another kind of nurse: a Knockout Nurse, thanks to Candyman Fashion.  Simple, eye-catching, and useful; these three words define the Knockout Nurse underwear to a tee.  From the rhinestones to the pouch and the red and white theme, you can’t go wrong with this pair.

92% Polyester and 8% Spandex and some rhinestones are exactly what the doctor ordered.  When mixed together, you have the perfect cure for boring underwear. They are equipped with a pouch…a very large pouch actually, and to be honest, I wasn’t accustomed to pouches.  You never know how handy pouches are until you don’t have them.  Another feature of this pair is the rhinestone RX on the side, not to mention the White Cross on the opposite side.  This pair has no problem getting attention.

When I tried them on, I noticed that they are pretty snug and there isn’t any riding up.  They are a pretty comfortable pair of underwear.  To my surprise, there wasn’t an issue with the rhinestones, which I actually figured would be a problem.   I was presently surprised when it wasn’t.  This pair survived a full day of class, lying around, and the gym.  They held up like a champ.  I would definitely recommend this Candyman selection.

Everyone and everything has a modest side and Candyman Fashion is no exception. The 9515 Boxer is one of their more modest pairs and even someone as exciting as me needs a break now and then to enjoy some simple, but enjoyable, boxer briefs. Though I did say simple, they are quite shiny and in the right light, they are a little see-through.  When you have them on, you don’t have to worry about anything being seen.

This pair is made of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex, all of which is again, very shiny, almost a little too shiny for my likings.  Since I wear pants over them, it’s not that big of a deal.  There is a simple design on the front of red horizontal stripes on the legs that connect to a black pouch, all with a bit of glitter to them.  Surround that with a silver background and you have yourself a modest pair of underwear.

When it comes to actually wearing the pair, the 9514 is a little loose and it has an interesting feel.  I can’t really put my finger on it, but it’s a tight feel, even though the pair is somewhat loose.  Don’t let that deter you, however, from giving the 9514 a try.  They are still a great pair of underwear.  If you would like a good fitting, comfortably simple, and modest pair, I would certainly recommend that you go and buy the 9514 Boxer!

Candyman Fashion provided me with this pair of underwear to review

There is a still a thunder from down under with Australian underwear.  Tribe is most certainly part of that thunder.  This is the second pair of Tribe underwear I’ve been given to review, and just like the first, this pair does not disappoint.  The trunk brief has a little more fabric and covering than the standard brief, and as someone who likes covering more than the next guy, that’s a very good thing.  So without further a due, here’s my review on the Tribe Trunk Brief in the Cobblestone pattern.

It’s always exciting to get underwear for review, especially when they are from a different country!  When they arrived, of course I tried them on instantly, and it was a match made in heaven!  This is a seriously great pair of underwear!  They have just enough coverage for me, a little more than the previous pair I reviewed (The Print Brief).  With that “just-right” coverage comes a “just-right” feeling, leaving me to be a happy camper.  Like the other pair, the Trunk Brief is comprised of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane, equaling a 100% comfortable pair of underwear!

As with all pairs I am given to review, I put them through my daily test, which pretty much puts them through everything; sitting, walking, and working out.  It’s the whole package…no pun intended.  With no surprises at all, these undies passed with flying colors!  I love the way they feel and how they support, plus the pattern is so simple that it’s more enjoyable than some of the craziest patterned pairs I own.  They are a nice escape to the simple life, which is definitely something everyone needs!

Tribe underwear provided me with this pair of underwear to review

Australia seems to be the happening place for underwear these days, there are quite a few brands putting out some really good stuff. A brand that is going above and beyond is Tribe. In my mind, a company named Tribe would have tropical patterns, and of course, they do. Some of their unique patterns include: Cobblestone, Palm, Jungle, and Skull.  To be quite honest, it is one thing to have a cool design, but to have a cooler name to go with it completes the package.  Now that I’ve given you a brief rundown, let’s focus on the point of the review, the Palm Standard Brief.

This is my second time writing for UNB, and alas, my second pair to review.  If I said I wasn’t super excited to get these, then I would be lying.  When they arrived, I tried them on instantly, and for the most part, I was pretty pleased.  They do seem a tad skimpy, and I felt that there could have been more coverage in the rear, but that could be because of incorrect sizing on my end.  Besides that, everything else about these undies is great.  They feel great as they are made of 94% Polyester.  There is quite a bit of support in the front, something that I find to be rather hit and miss, and it’s so much better when it’s a hit.  These are definitely a hit!

Before I can faithfully write a review, I have to wear the briefs for a normal day and see if they can pass the test.  The next morning, I put them on, went to class, had after-class meetings, and then hung around the pad until bedtime.  The results…an overwhelming pass! I didn’t want to take them off because they were so comfortable.  But, if you love something, you have to set it free to your hamper.  I did set them free, but I plan to reunite myself with them very soon!

Tribe underwear provided me with this pair of underwear to review

Looking for something comfortable, colorful, and new for your drawer?  Look no further than Whittall & Shon!  You may have heard of this small operation out of New York, but if you haven’t, you are seriously missing out on some of the most comfortable underwear and clothing accessories around.  I personally found Whittall & Shon very early on in my underwear career and I’m extremely happy I did.

Some styles have names, but others just have numbers.  I have two pairs of the 161 Trim Square Cut style.  I ordered the Turquoise-Orange from DealByEthan.com, and due to an inventory error, I received the Brown-Blue style.  I was a little bummed at first since I really wanted the bright colors of the Turquoise-Orange, but the second I put them on, they could have been any color in the world.

The feel of the material in this underwear is seriously unrivaled…made of 95% Microfiber and 5% Lycra.  Let me put this out there…I love microfiber. Love it, love it, and love it!  Coming from a car guy who uses microfiber towels to clean his car at car shows, I just love the material and the fact that a company will put it into its underwear is amazing.  Call me bias, but I feel the use of microfiber makes this underwear some of the most comfortable around.

Not only does the underwear feel amazing, but it also looks amazing. The 161 comes in almost totally opposite colors of the spectrum: brown and blue, turquoise and orange, yellow and blue, and white and red.  It is amazing how a simple, two color design can produce such an aesthetically pleasing product.  The piping around the edges is one color and the fill is the other.  Such a simple design will get instant attention at the locker room, the club, or wherever you find it appropriate, or not, to strip down and show off your undies!

There’s more to talk about with the 161 from Whittall & Shon.  Some of us care about the feel, some the color, and others care about the fit and the support.  Worry not!  I’ve got you covered, and so does the 161.  It has a seriously amazing fit.  I continue throwing around the word “amazing”, and you may think I don’t mean it.  But I seriously do!  There is absolutely no bunching at all, especially on the legs.  The boxer brief is still a boxer brief at the end of the day; it won’t be a brief when it’s time for bed.  That is even the case for someone like me who is constantly moving around, in all sorts of positions.  Support is also good with the 161.  Though there isn’t a dedicated pouch, there is still plenty of support for the valuables.  It feels right and far from cramped.

If you’ve managed to stay along for this journey, and are still interested, definitely give Whittall & Shon a try.  They are available from their online store at whittallandshonmen.com or from several online retailers, such as dealbyethan.com.
