Lace…a fabric that is growing in popularity in the world of mens underwear, but a fabric that is still controversial for some. Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of wearing my lace myself, but enjoy seeing it on other guys. For me, it falls into the same realm as mesh and I find both mesh and lace to be tricky fabrics when it comes to long-term comfort. The Bum-Chum Men’s Turquoise Lace Brief was no exception.
Overall, the fit of the brief is perfect. The size medium furnished to me was the same size as I typically wear and it fit as expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find the front allowed enough room for my package. That said, after wearing for a while, I found my equipment would rub against the fabric some and it rubbed in a certain way, it was not a pleasant feeling.
While I do not envision myself using this brief for all-day wear, I do think it is perfect to wear for some fun in the bedroom. I really love the turquoise lace with the contrasting black lace trim. It makes for a visually interesting brief. Bum Chums also offers some other lace color options as well, which I appreciate. The brief also appears to be well constructed and looks like it will last a long time.
Overall, if lace and/or mesh usually work well for you, then I would definitely recommend this brief. I would also recommend it for any guy who is looking to branch out and try something new. Lace may not be for every guy, but you never know until you try, and this would be a good starter lace brief.
