PQ160403_Black_1When you think of fun and skimpy underwear, PetitQ definitely comes to mind. Over the years they have played with different fabrics and style. The PetitQ boys aren’t following any rules for underwear. They are designing underwear they think is sexy and fun. Which, come to think of it, is the way underwear should be. The new collection builds on the previous collections. Some similar styles and fabrics work their way in to the new gear. It’s a great evolution of the line.

I have grouped the new collection into Bikinis, Mesh, Jocks, Splash and G-strings. Its a logical way to report on the collection. This is the new collection!

Bikinis

There are four new bikinis that consist of two styles are the Target Bikini and Mercy Bikini. Each comes in two color combinations. The Target bikini is made out of a solid and mesh fabric. The mesh fabric is on the pouch and wraps half way around the back. The fabric of the pair is 90% Nylon 10% Spandex. You will show off a lot more with this pair over the Mercy bikini. PetitQ always does interesting cuts of fabric. Both of these lines are asymmetrical and fun. Colors are Black/Red and White/Blue

The Mercy bikini has a similar cut to the Target bikini except there is less mesh around the back. It ends about 1/4 around the back. The fabric is the same 90% Nylon and 10% spandex as the Target bikini. Just like the Target, the pouch has the see through fabric. The colors are Black/Red and White/Black.

Mesh

PetitQ has a fun play on mesh with the Mesh Stripes collection. In stead of a 100% see through mesh, this fabric has solid stripes. This allows for somethings to be hidden. However, you will still be showing off all you have in these. The Mesh Stripes is avialble in a Kini, G-string, and bikinis. Another new pair in the mesh are the Mesh Chaps. They have a waistband and come down to your knees. You can wear them solo or with a jock or g-string. Definitely a hot pair. The Mesh stripes is made out of 95% nylon and 5% spandex and is only in black. The Chaps are 100% nylon and only in black.

Jocks

PetitQ is giving us their take on the Jock. As expected it’s not your typical jock. It’s more of a jock brief thong. Sort of a three part hybrid. Part brief, part jock and part thong all rolled into one. It may sound like a pretty odd combination, but it really works. The Sail Jock is the same material from the last collection, made out of a 95% Modal and 5% spandex. The Blue Jock is made out of 95% cotton and 5% spandex. Lastly the white is a mesh made out of 100% nylon. These three fabrics gives the three very different and unique looks.

Splash

The Splash collection is a new fabric for styles you already know. They have a blue mesh with a green print trim. The styles are Bikini Rift Splash, Bikini Rivera Splash and the Kini Rivera Splash. Most of the times they made these styles it was with solid fabric. Each style is made out of a 100% nylon mesh material.

G-Strings

We have plenty of fans of g-strings out there. I think the point of a g-string is to have the most minimal coverage. These definitely fit in that category. The pouches on both of these are some of the smallest I have seen in a while. One is solid black while the other is a black mesh. Both styles are made out of 80% Nylon and 20% spandex. It just depends on how much you want to show off.

Bikinis Part 2

The last of the bikinis are the Neon and Bulge Bamboo Bikini. These don’t  really fit in the other categories I created. The Neon Bikini a very brief Bikini with neon trim. It’s a smaller cut bikini. It reminds me of a few of the Japanese companies making underwear. Meaning it’s very low rise and looks to give you minimum coverage in the back. The Neon Bikini is made out of 80% nylon and 20% spandex.

The Bulge Bamboo Bikini is a true bikini. Its a low rise bikini with thin sides. So all our bikini lovers can rejoice. The back has full coverage on the back. Made out of 96% bamboo and 4% spandex, it will fit you like a glove. Bamboo fabric is super soft. This pair is only available in white.

Its not a massive update to PetitQ but it’s a fun update. I think they have done a great job in evolving their collection. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
