Here is an important announcement regarding postage during the Olympics.
It’s an exciting time in the UK with the imminent start of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. It will of course be service as usual at DGU during the Games but customers in the London area please take note of advice from Royal Mail.
If you use DGU’s usual First Class Signed For service, your parcel might take a little longer than usual to arrive.
And if you want next day delivery, using Special Delivery, Royal Mail say:
“During the Olympic Games additional transport restrictions and extended travel times in London mean Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery of all items in parts of London by 1pm.
“Special Delivery items will instead be guaranteed for next day delivery. This change ONLY affects deliveries in E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W and WC London postcode areas between Friday July 27th and Sunday September 9th.”
