One of the best things about the men’s underwear industry is that there is always something new popping up, so there is never a shortage of new styles, colors, cuts, and BRANDS. I was contacted by a newer brand and after looking into them a little, I was defiantly intrigued.

Safetyz is a brand of underwear that allows men to “tuck more than the family jewels away safety,” according to a recently published press release by creators Jamal Dedeaux and Rebecca Haze, who started Safetyz back in 2007. The thing that sets Safetyz apart from your ordinary undies that that it contains a hidden zipper pocket that is 4 inches wide and 7 inches long. “Is that a 12 oz water bottle in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?” Well in fact Safetyz claims that you can stash a full 12oz bottle of water away in their secret pouch if needed.  Not that you would want to, but it is nice to know you do have the space.

Safetyz says that the pouch is designed for a variety of purposes, from the traveling securing large sums of money, to the bachelor maintaining a readily supply of condoms, and don’t forget the athletes who need a secure place for their gym key while they work out. But most of all, Safetyz are for men who enjoy a comfortable cotton boxer brief and like to look good in their undies.

Safetyz come in a variety of colors like black, blue, red, gray and white and offer sizes from small to extra large. They only have one cut which is a boxer brief and it is made of 100% cotton and handmade in the USA. Safetyz can be found in novelty shops throughout the US and Canada as well as online at www.safetyz.com. The price runs from $15.99 for one of $39.99 for a three pack.

Safetyz has supplied us with a pair to review, so be looking for that soon as well. In the meantime checkout their site to learn more about this up and coming underwear site. They have told us they have more planned and we can’t wait to see what this company will do next.

Also a handy spot to stash that extra pair of gym socks – immediately rendering all those boost and lift briefs irrelevant!
