8-1-13-2Andrew Christian is no stranger to making underwear that guys want. The Almost Naked and Trophy Boy are two of my favorites. However, his undies can get expensive fast, but it doesn’t have too! This is where the Color Vibe line comes in! The Color Vibe is a more affordable line that they have released in the last year or so. When I talked to Andrew in Vegas he said it was important to make underwear for everyone, not for guys who could pay $40 a pair.

The Color Vibe:

  • Is no available in Black Ink
  • Has a new Andrew Christian signature waistband
  • Leg are trimmed with a red accent
  • Anatomically correct underwear with fun snuggle fit
  • Fabric – Made from 100 % super soft cotton
  • Sizing – Small – XL

The Black Ink Color Vibe is available at the Andrew Christian website for $13.93.

The pair of underwear I am reviewing is the Jam by Rounderwear Gold Brief in White (also available in black).  Before trying these on, I enjoyed the feel of the micromodal fabric as I took in the overall style and construction of the brief.  The fabric was soft and stretchy with two strips of piping running along the left and right side of the pouch.  The waistband is approximately 2 inches in width with a stylized cursive Jam scrawled across the right hip area and stitched into the gold elastic.  This is my first pair of Jam underwear and I enjoyed being able to try them.

Could this be the perfect pair of underwear?  Let’s see!

While wearing this pair of underwear, I went about a normal day of traveling to have lunch and shop an hour away from home.  I worked around the house a bit before leaving, drove an hour to lunch and ship, and drove an hour back home to relax.  Overall, I spent about twelve hours in this pair.  It was a busy day filled with lots of varying movement and activity.  The pair fit well around the waist without being taut like a lot of underwear companies are doing recently.  It was very comfortable all throughout the day.  The leg openings were quite comfortable and stretchy enough to conform without being too tight with a slim piece of piping that I first thought was just the fabric turned over and sewn against itself.  The pouch consisting of two pieces of fabric sewn together with a center seam is soft, comfortable, and conforming.  The pouch is constructed of two ply fabric or it would have been a bit see through and not as comfortable.  The fabric is 92%Micromodal and 8%Lastane and extremely soft, conforming, and like wearing nothing at all.  I liked that this pair covered the front area fully and just covered the rear enough to create a very nice look from behind.  These would be a great pair for low rise jeans due to the smooth fabric, conforming nature, and lower rise around the waist.  The crotch area is rather slim, which I love, where the pouch and rear meet and fits tight to the body holding the pouch and manbits in place quite well.  I believe this pair would hold up well during normal and active use.
I received a size large in this brief.  This size should cover around 34-36 pant size.  Sizing was true to size which I love in underwear.
I loved the soft fabric (I have not seen such nice fabric since a few reviews ago) as it was stretchy and conforming to the body.  The pouch was adequate and should accommodate average guys without any major issues.  The leg openings were comfortable.  The way the crotch area felt between my legs was nice and fit well.  The bold Jam logo looked nice around the gold band and created an expensive look.

Overall, this was an excellent pair of underwear and I felt sexy and comfortable while wearing them.  Jam seems to be a company that creates underwear that is rich in design and fabric while being functional.

So, is this the perfect pair of underwear?  Yes.  Yes it is.

I consider myself very diverse when it comes to brands and cuts of underwear.  I have had the opportunity to expand my diversity and my collection thanks to the UnderwearNewsBreifs.com website.  One brand I was super excited to review was Cocksox.  Just cx03_red_side-1from their band name, this was a brand I knew I would enjoy.

I had the opportunity to try the white Cocksox Brief with the new waistband in a size small. The first thing I noticed was the pouch.  Cocksox is known to help enhance your package with its “sox” design.  There are no rings or slings in these bad boys though; just an over sized pouch that is designed to fit the natural curve of your package.  The fit is a little tighter than most standard briefs, but with the pouch design, it felt as if I wasn’t wearing anything.

The fabric is a unique blend of 92% Supplex and 8% Lycra.  These undies stretch in every direction, making them one of the best pairs of undies I own.  They don’t bunch or ride and this unique blend of fabrics is so light weight, which in the hot humid summers of Iowa, is much appreciated. The waistband is also made of very comfortable elastic and is branded with the Cocksox logo in blue.

cx03_mhblue_backIf I had to find one downfall of these undies, it would be the way they are cut along the butt.  The cut is very high and doesn’t offer as much coverage as a normal brief allows your back end. I am a “less is best” kind of guy, making this not such a huge issue for me, but can see where it might catch a few guys off guard.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Cocksox brief with the new waistband.  The “sox” design makes these undies some of the most comfortable I own. I have worn them both for daily wear and out for a run and these undies held up for both.  I have already ordered 2 more pairs from this amazing Australian brand. One thing to watch out for is the sizing.  I am a 32 inch waist and in most undies, I take a medium. With Cocksox, however, the size small fits me perfectly.  Check out their sizing chart on the website to make sure you get the right size.  If not, Cocksox does have a pretty good exchange/return policy.

Cocksox provided me this pair of briefs to review, but you can get more information about them from their web site. They offer a wide range of underwear and swimwear in a variety of colors and patterns.  I have a pair of their mesh briefs on order. Pricing for the Brief is $23 US.
