Kiniki Cambridge CollectionKiniki has introduced the Cambridge collection made out of a supplex lycra fabric. It is as soft as cotton, but absorbs moisture more quickly. This is great material for working out and athletes. Of course great for everyday wear too. They are offering five styles and three color options in the collection. The three colors are blue, orange, and pink. They remind me of a stonewashed look with more of a speckled white within the color and faded.

Kiniki offers all the styles in sizes S to XXL. Let’s look at the styling offering from most coverage to least. The panel hipster is a great choice for those boxer brief fans. They feature a seamless supportive front panel for a comfortable fit and support. All colors have a gray waistband with the Kiniki name on it. For those that like boxer briefs with less of an inseam then the Hipster is one to look at. Only different from the panel hipster is less of an inseam. They offer a classic brief with the seamless supportive front panel and same gray waistband.

The last two styles are for the thong wearers. First up is the thong that features a black elastic waistband. I guess you could call it a tanga thong, since the colored fabric isn’t integrated into the sides. It has a centered seamed front contour pouch. Kiniki also offers a g-string in the Cambridge collection. It has a thin black elastic waistband and string back. The pouch is centered seamed for contour.

This collection almost has all the basic styles covered. It’s missing a bikini cut, which I think would be a great addition to it. I personally like the stonewashed color look of the fabric, which is what draws me into this collection. The fabric sounds great too.

1427-wantedWe have covered quite a few different pairs of the new Gregg Homme. But, what if you want the amazing fabric and fit of Gregg Homme in something a bit more conservative. Not made out of mesh, leather or any other “erotic” fabric. Or, maybe you’re a big fan and want something to wear out that doesn’t draw attention to you. Say like at the gym or doctors office. We have a line for you, it’s call the Wanted Collection.

It’s not 100% conservative. It’s a knit fabric with a tye-dyed like print. It’s on the black/gray/white spectrum. The official description says “for those who wants to add a more flare to their wardrobe.” It’s definitely something different from Gregg Homme.

I love that this is a play on the black and white undies. The print different from what Gregg Homme has done before. It’s more of a play on the current prints that are so popular in men’s underwear. However, every pair will be different.

Just when you think that Gregg Homme can’t do anything else to surprise you, they do a line like this. They are known for super sexy and erotic pairs. When they release a more classic line it kind of gets you off kilter. The line may look classic. However, it’s made with the high standards of the Gregg Homme name. That includes fit, fabric and fashion.

Make sure you go to Gregg Homme and see all the pairs!

Cocksox furnished the CX75 Mesh Sports Brief for review.

Rating: 9/10

  • Daily Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 9/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros: Not as big a pouch as the CX01, The mesh is sexy and not over the top, great starter pair for a guy to try mesh, tag info was printed in the pouch

Cons: Not the same pouch as CX01 (some of you love this pouch), Some may not like the basic colors.

UNB Tim recommendation:  This is a great pair for daily wear. It can be worn to work as equally as well on a date. It won’t loose it’s shape. Some mesh pairs can be made to be worn for an hour or more, this one I wore well over 12 hours and it felt great from the start till the end of the day. It’s also a perfect pair for a guy wanting to dip his toe in the mesh underwear world.

I am continuing the reviews of some of the latest Cocksox. So far they have been pretty good pairs. One of the newest lines is the Mesh line. I got the honor to review the CX75 Mesh Sports brief in white. It was one I have been curious about trying for some time now. It looked super sexy and a lot of fun.

The first thing I noticed was that this isn’t the same pouch in the CX01 briefs. It’s a more subtle pouch, meaning you won’t put everything out there. This maybe a bonus for some of you guys out there. Also, another thing that caught my eye was the tag. There is no tag in the back, it’s printed on the pouch. I thought this was a great touch. I can’t tell you how many times I have gotten mesh briefs, to only cut the tag out of the back.

I wore this to a somewhat active day. As I said above the pouch wasn’t as bulgy. The mesh wasn’t as stretchy as I thought it was going to be. This isn’t a bad thing but I expected something lighter and stretchier. However, it still fit great, I was not let down at all. It was a pleasant surprise for me. The mesh brief held up well to my running some errands and working. It’s a sexy pair that is made for a date night but designed for everyday wear as well. And, isn’t that the point of underwear to feel amazing and sexy each day.

Another area that worried me at first was the waistband. Having the fabric not be as stretchy, I wondered if it would stay up. I have reviewed pairs similar where the waistband couldn’t take all day wear. My fears were put to rest at the end of the day. The pair remained in place all day.

Speaking of fabric, this pair is made out of a 95% Nylon 5% Spandex. I received the white pair. It’s also available in black and red. The white seems to be the one that shows off less on me. Depending on skin tone you may have one that shows less than other pairs.

Sizing was spot on. It’s rare that I have had a pair that felt too small. I received and XL and it fit me to a T. Their sizing has been pretty consistent over the years. If you check the size chart, you should be confident the pair you get will fit you well.

I really enjoyed the brief. It held up to all day wear. It made me feel great all day. It is definitely a date night pair. I just need someone to wear it for! If you’re a fan of Cocksox and mesh, this is the pair for you. Also, if you want to try mesh for the first time. This is a great starter pair.

1428-suspender

Gregg Homme is made for guys who want to feel sexy. It is especially for guys who want to wear something skimpy and fun. What is more fun than a see through mesh material? Imagine that on a brief, thong and pouch. Mix those styles with bright vibrant colors and you have the Gregg Homme Suspender Collection!

If you think the pair can’t get any sexier, you would be wrong. Each pair has a mini clip. This will allow for easy access when you need it most. This is probably the sexiest collection in the line up for me personally. The fabric is “This luscious and sensous delicate stripped knit will make you go wild. Ultra soft on your skin,”

Briefs and thongs have been staples in the Gregg Homme collections. I’m really glad to see the new pouch design. These can be hit or miss in the world of men’s underwear. Given the amazing fabric and design skills of Gregg Homme, I can bet this will be one of the best pouches on the market. When done right the pouch is one of the most comfortable designs on the planet.

The colors in this collection feature classic and fun colors. The classic colors are black and white. The fun colors are pink, purple and lime. My favorite is the Pink. Some of you out there may disagree but the picture above is super hot!

If you want a super sexy pair you need to get to the Gregg Homme site and buy it in every style!

JOR TAYRONA BIKINIWe introduced this bikini a little while back, but thought it was worth another shout out. What do you think of when you hear the underwear brand JOR? What comes to my mind with the brand JOR is their wide elastic waistbands with their name on it. That type of waistband is a turnoff for me when it comes to bikini or thong underwear. So I am excited that JOR has introduced a bikini in their line up that is to my liking. For those of you that are like me, you’ll want to check out JOR’s new bikini underwear called Tayrona (0314). It’s what I consider a true bikini.

This bikini is a low rise style with full frontal coverage and contoured pouch that supports and defines. The backside does show off a little of the cheeks. Always a great feature for a bikini. It’s made out of a super soft, stretch microfiber fabric that is 96% polyester and 4% spandex. They say it is soft and resilient and retains shape and color through wash and wear. The bikinis are handmade in Colombia of USA and Colombian fabrics.

I’m also not one that likes to advertise the brand I am wearing, so I like how JOR does the branding on these bikinis. They have a small tag with the JOR star and name, which is nice and subtle. You have the choice of three colors: Candy (pink), Orange, or White. All three colors have accent stitching that runs the outside edge of the bikini. I think it adds a bit of character to them. They’re available in sizes small to extra large.

If you like low rise underwear and want a lean cut with a sexy edge then check out the JOR 0314 Tayrona bikini. It’s the first true bikini underwear I’ve seen introduced from JOR. Let’s make this a popular pair for JOR, so they introduce more of this style without the thick elastic waistband.

1421-rococo

The new Gregg Homme line is a lot of fun. They always do something different and in their own unique style. One line they are doing their own style is the Rococo line. It’s their take on the lace trend in men’s underwear. Many guys out there are loving this style of underwear.

The ROCOCO line is a romantic baroque style with this one of a kind printed knit, Meaning that much of the fabric is a sheer fabric. Which, will show off all your assets. The styles in the Rococo line are the Pouch, Boxer, Thong and brief.

What makes this line different from all the other lace pairs on the market? First, Gregg Homme doesn’t skimp on fabrics. They use some of the best  fabrics on the market. Next, this pair is made to wear all day. You can wear it to the office for a big meeting or running errands. It will never feel uncomfortable or make you wish you wore another pair. They make sexy undies that are to be worn for everyday wear, not just special times. Underwear should make us feel sexy no matter what we wear!

The line is out now. This is perfect pair for the guy who wants to explore the lace side of men’s underwear. You can wear something that will fit great and look sexy. You won’t regret getting this pair!

1422-wild-westGregg Homme is back with a new fun and interesting new line of underwear. Gregg Homme is known for their unconventional designs that can leave little to the imagination. This new line is the Wild West line. When I first saw this collection my first thought it wow those look interesting. The thong with fringe is what really got my attention. The Wild West line is available right now for people to get their hands on.

The Wild West line is made to look like it has been crafted from deer skin. The pairs of underwear are all made with fake suede material. The line comes in brief, thong, and string. The briefs are made in a sumo style so they wrap around your body covering your butt and crotch. That makes the pair more interesting and reminds me of an older time before everything was cut perfectly to fit us. The string features a T-back, as well as a pouch that has a bow in the middle of the top. The thong is the most fun pair with fringe hanging all over its pouch. It features a similar back to the string, just more coverage on the front. The thong and briefs each feature faux leather on the waistband and a metal Gregg Homme label. The string features a fake leather waistband with metal Gregg Homme label on the side. The pairs all come in a tan and black color.

This line is going to be more of a novelty thing to wear when you are having a sexy night. The string and briefs may be able to be worn other places, but the thong with its fringe would be hard to go out in. I think a special someone would find these pairs fun if you were to come out wearing them.

I love that this line brings back the look of Wild West. The fringe on the thong seems really fun and unique. It would also draw your eye to your package for sure wearing the thong. I also enjoy the look of the briefs. They look extremely comfortable and have a style that is not seen anymore. The string looks sexy and fun when you want to show off and have some fun.

Overall this looks like a really fun and unique line of underwear. The sumo look of the briefs and fringe on the thong make these pairs fun to look at. You can get these pairs of underwear right now on Gregg Homme’s website.

shareyourAs most of you already know, we here at UNB are all about empowerment of guys to wear what they want and when they want. Without the preconceived notions of society. It could be a thong, lace, long boxer briefs, jocks, bikinis and the list goes on and on. UNB is open to guys of all sexual orientations, the only qualification is you love underwear!

We have a post called a Brief Tale. This is a post all about our readers. Where you guys can tell how you discovered underwear. You are able to share your personal story with readers who identify with and have lived the same story. It also helps us build a community of awesome guys! We here at UNB like to share but we love to hear from you guys. UNB is just as much ours as it is yours!

We have retooled the questions from two years ago. If you read Jayinca’s post this past week. This is the new format. Also, I had a few of you tell me that his story was very similar to their own. The best thing about underwear is we are more alike than we are different. I have learned that gay, straight and bi guys have such similar stories.

Lastly, this helps us fight the double standard in underwear. Showing all types of guys willing to open up about their undies, empowers more guys to be open with their love as well.

How can you share your story?

Email us at info@underwearnewsbriefs.com for the template. Then get it back to us! It’s that simple. Just be yourself and answer the questions honestly and tell your story. After it’s posted you will get feedback from other guys (especially if you share a social media account). And you just may inspire someone else!

Gregg Homme Camo CollectionAre you a veteran, active military, a hunter, or just a fan of camo? If so Gregg Homme has a new collection for you of camo. The Camo collection offers you seven selections. These are chaps, muscle t-shirt, regular t-shirt, boxer brief, pouch (g-string), bikini brief, and thong. Gregg Homme is a luxury brand known for their quality and great fabrics, so you’ll pay a bit more for their items.

The camo collection features Gregg Homme’s newest Italian mesh fabric. First we’re going to cover some of the items teaming up with faux leather. The first item we’ll look at is chaps. The chaps are the only item that has the faux leather as the feature fabric. Then they are accented with a strip of mesh camo down the outside of the legs. These have a lacing closure at the back along with the classic Gregg Homme embossed patch logo in front. The muscle t-shirt and regular t-shirt use the faux leather for accenting around the armholes and neckline. The last item that adds the faux leather into the mix is the boxer briefs. It uses the leather to accent the leg openings and highlighting the pouch. The pouch is a black knit fabric, so will keep the family jewels concealed.

The pouch, bikini brief, and thong are made out of just the mesh camo fabric. These all feature the classic Gregg Homme embossed patch logo at the front center. With this being a mesh collection, there is sheerness to it. The camo print does do what camo is meant to do and does help some with concealment of what is underneath. This is the type of mesh I like, since it doesn’t tell the whole story.

For me camo brings back memories of my childhood pretending to be in the military. You know being on special forces going on secret missions. Did you do the same thing? If so maybe you should bring back those memories even more with some the items from Camo Collection. Go ahead get that camo on and treat yourself to some new covert operations.

1429-diablo

Gregg Homme is no stranger to Fetishwear. In years past they have used mesh, animal print, leather like, rubber like and actual leather in their collections. This year is no different. The fetish collection for this collection is the Diablo. Diablo is a mix of animal print and studs. That’s right, we’re not talking the guy in the undies, but actual metal studs on the undies.

You may have noticed I said animal print. But, looking at the picture above, it doesn’t look like animal print. The print is a subtle print that can be seen in the light. It’s a black on black print that many may not notice right off as an animal print. They have done this effect before and it’s perfect for the guy who has a bit of a wild side but doesn’t always want to show it.

Mix the print with the studs. Studs have really be part of the leather world for a while. They occasionally make their way into men’s underwear, especially more fetish underwear like Gregg Homme. “Paired with silver pointy studs along the front pouch and faux leather trims,  you will stand out.” The studs, I wouldn’t necessarily wear under work clothes. I guess you could but they could cause some strange bulges and such. It’s more of a “at home” or night out.

The Diablo is the line that has shirts as well as underwear. The styles available are Diablo Crop Top, Jock, T-Shirt, Boxer Briefs, Thong, Briefs and Tank Top. Each of them has the same print and studs fashioned to it in some way. I’m glad that Gregg Homme keeps the fetish side in their collections. Fetishwear can be uncomfortable after a while. This is not the case with Gregg Homme. This line is made to be worn our and comfortable for a night of dancing. As well, as a night in with someone or some people who are special. No Judgments here!

5283_grape_1Love Clever and don’t want to wait till February for a new collection? You are in luck they just dropped a new mini-collection this past week. They were sneaky in the release, I wasn’t aware it was in the works. The new collection features one thong, new boxer briefs and briefs. As you would expect they have the bright colors and prints you would expect from Clever Moda.

For a small collection, they did a good job in mixing solids, stripes, and prints. It’s more of an addition to the current collection than a totally new collection. One thing I really love about Clever is they create the same pairs in briefs and boxer briefs. Nothing worse than seeing a pair you wish they made in the other style.

All of these styles can be found at Clevermoda.us Clever Collection 2016-3 Page.

Here is the new collection:

1425-push-up-2-0Gregg Homme is back with a new line of underwear that will help enhance your body. This is the Push Up 2.0 line. When I first saw the line I was impressed with the retro sporty feel. I also noticed the line comes in almost every style which would appeal to everyone. This line is out right now for people to purchase. Gregg Homme makes great underwear that shows off the body well and fits snuggly.

The Push Up 2.0 line features a retro look with a contrast color binding and pipping. The pairs are made with an ultra-fine gauge microfiber fabric. The company says the material will feel like silk against your skin but still give you support and shape. The line comes in briefs, a jock, a thong, or boxer briefs. Every style of this line is able to be worn with or without the padding that would enhance your shape. The jock will also lift you butt to give you a nice shaped booty. These pairs could be worn just about anywhere, but I think would be perfect for a night out to get some attention. All the styles come in three colors: Purple with a black waistband and white piping, red with black waistband and white piping, and black with black waistband and blue and white piping. The pairs all feature the Classic Gregg Homme waistband signature as well.

I really like the retro sporty look of this line. It is stylish and the colors are a perfect pairing together. I also like the fact the padding in the underwear back be taken in and out because there are sometimes you don’t want to be padded or enhanced. The jock isn’t your typical style either, it reminds me of more of a jock-brief which I like because it gives you more coverage. I love the piping is around the crotch to draw your eye in as well.

This is a fun line that is stylish and will help to enhance your body in the right places. The removable padding is a nice addition for the times you are not needing or wanting the extra padding. This line is available now Gregg Homme’s website. The jock is priced at $46, the boxer-briefs at $48, the thong is $37, and the briefs cost $41.

1423-affair

The new collection is out for Gregg Homme! This collection is pretty awesome. But, then again I think most of their collections are amazing. Over the next week or so our guys will be giving you our take on the Fall/Winter collection! The line I will be talking about is the Affair collection.

What is the Affair collection? Well according to Gregg Homme its “our newest retro look with contrast color binding at waist and leg opening to add more personality to your brief.” The contrasting waist and leg trim is a really cool touch.

The fabric is their famous six-way stretch fabric. Meaning, it will conform to you like a second skin. This is the most amazing fabric in underwear today. As you can tell by the pictures of the different pairs. It leaves little to the imagination but the fit is second to none.

The line comes in four different styles. The G-String, Boxer Briefs, Thong and Brief. The brief I would call a bikini. In fact all styles are super skimpy, which is a good thing. Each pair comes in Khaki, blue and black. Each with the matching and alternating trim.

I love this line. First, because it’s a skimpy line. The brief is my favorite in the entire collection. The cut and look is just what I want in a brief. Next, the fabric can’t be beat. It’s used in other lines and just fits and feels amazing. No matter the size in the front or back you the fabric will stretch to fit you. I can attest to the pouch looking small but being able to hold a lot!

Take some time and check out the Affair line. Also, all the other lines at the Gregg Homme Site.

Battle of the BulgeUNBTim did a post called “Showing A Bulge? Is It Too Much?” Before that post, Tim and I had a conversation on it, so it inspired me to join him with my own post. We both think there is a line where we personally think it is okay to show the bulge and not to. That line is pretty similar for us.

Like Tim quoted me in his post, Women have the push up bras for cleavage boosting, so why shouldn’t we be able to have some enhancement to our bulge. Now I do believe there is a point of too much for the public eye. For your partner, I say the more the merrier. I know my wife likes seeing some bulge coming from under my clothes.

I’m a bikini and thong wearer and I find that a good fitting snug pair will give a boost without them being an enhancing pair. The fact that they lift the sack up and out gives you a bit more of the bulge. Along with them keeping everything in place front and center.

Personally I don’t really pay much attention to my bulge factor. I haven’t come across any awkward situations related to showing a bulge. None of my pairs are what I would call enhancing. Yes, some of my underwear pouches do give more lift than others.

I think the bulge factor comes down to intent. I see giving yourself a little boost to the package as a way to increase confidence, which is an enhancement plus. If your sole purpose is just to show off and get the biggest boost possible then I see that as a negative. Yes, it is fine to show off to your partner or maybe clubbing. Most other times I don’t think it is necessary.

My biggest pet peeve with bulge showing off is with swim briefs or smaller swimwear. Enhancing the bulge in swimwear is one of the biggest things that I think is hurting their acceptance. People seem to have a hang up on the male anatomy being accentuated by lycra and defining it more is just making it worse.

To bulge? or not to bulge? is the end question. To that I say use common sense. Bulge at the appropriate times and places. Do not over enhance and hurt the image of men’s bikinis, thongs, and other undies along with the swim brief. There still is a long ways to come in their acceptability and inappropriate bulging can set them back even more.

ergowear-max-meshew0461-3

Ergowear has been a favorite brand of mine long before I started UNB. Their pouches are some of the best on the market. My preferences are the X3D and Max. Both have amazing pouches that fit me like a glove. Pouches are where Ergowear excels in the world of underwear. The newest is the Max Mesh Collection.

The Max Mesh collection consists a thong, bikini, boxer brief and long boxer briefs. Each made out of an 89% polyester 11% elastan blend. Including the amazing Max pouch. The Max Pouch has a 3-D nose form that is anatomically shaped. This allows for plenty of room and support for any guy.

This collection is great for those who love white underwear. Each pair is a white fabric and a white waistband. You may say, this is boring, but the design is anything but boring. They are perfect for the gym because the fabric is moisture wicking. Meaning it’s perfect for working out, running or any time of activity where you want to feel cool throughout the day.

Ergowear has one of the best sizing charts on the net. It’s easy to find your perfect size. As long as you follow their guide, there should not be any sizing issues. I have never had any with the brand. Note the size chart may not match US Sizing.

shop-theuk-websitesWe all love a deal in the world of underwear! One deal you may not be thinking is shopping sites in the UK. I was talking to someone in the UK earlier this week and they reminded me that the US Dollar goes a lot farther with the current exchange rate. That means you can buy more.

One company we love and have teamed up with is Dead Good Undies. They do our “What’s Hot in the UK” each month. They have some incredible brands. Each month they share styles and brands we don’t necessarily have here in the US. This will allow you to have something your friends don’t have in their underwear drawer. Our last post was the Sinfull Edition.

Another company that is amazing is Sukrew. They have expanded their styles to include boxer briefs. However, they are well known for their jocks and briefs. Especially with the U designs! One of their more recent pairs is the thong and jock. Each has received rave reviews from our readers.

Go shop some UK sites!

Underwear subscriptions are one of the newest ways to buy underwear. If you aren’t familiar with how it works. You pick a style you want, give them your size and once a month you get underwear sent to you. It;s a great way to try new brands you may not buy on your own. Or for that matter even know about. One that is new, well to us at UNB is called My Junk Trunk.

My Junk Trunk has something a bit different. They do underwear and socks. Many of our readers love socks as much as they love underwear. Myself included! If you aren’t a fan of socks, you can get a trunk without socks, but what is the fun in that. The current trunks include:

  • 1 Pair of underwear and 2 pairs of socks – $38.95
  • 2 pairs of underwear and 2 pairs of socks – $58.95
  • 3 Pairs of underwear and 2 pairs of socks – $78.95
  • 1 Pair of underwear – $22.95
  • 2 Pairs of underwear – $42.95
  • 3 Pairs of underwear. – $62.95

All the boxes except 1 pair of underwear comes with free shipping. As for underwear styles you can choose a brief, boxer briefs, and Jocks/Thongs.

my-junk-trunk-2

They sent me my own Trunk to check out. When it arrived it came in its own My Junk Trunk box. I was excited to see what they sent. The box came and when I opened it and the socks and underwear were wrapped in black tissue paper with a “My Junk Trunk” sticker on it. I liked the look. I opened the tissue paper. After this I totally forgot the socks were included. They were two pairs of Happy Socks. I love the socks they sent. One was a plaid and the other was dots. As for the underwear, they sent a pair of trunks from Skull & Bones. That were a blue waistband and tiny skull print. The name of the pair is Skull & Bones Trunk in blue.

my-junk-trunk-3

I really like what I saw from them and the socks. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants regular socks and underwear. I may have to join myself!

My Junk Trunk furnished this pair for us to review.

brief-talkThis is a conversation between UNBTim and UndiesFool. We explore the topic of underwear and confidence. How the undies we choose give us an extra boost through the day.

UNBTIM

Long before I created UNB. I knew underwear gave me confidence. Certain days I would wear my favorite pair. Especially if it was a big day or some special occasion. Now that I run an underwear blog, underwear gives you confidence, is reinforced by readers every day. One reader in particular is UndiesFool. Someone who is a supporter of UNB and becoming a good friend.

What does “Underwear brings you confidence” mean to you?

UndiesFool:

Confidence is an important factor in our lives, especially self-confidence. If you’re overconfident, you can send the wrong message to to someone. Furthermore if you’re overconfident with nothing to back it up, you’re just an arrogant ass. On the other side of the spectrum, if you lack confidence people will doubt you as much as you doubt yourself setting you up for failure after failure. So how could this possibly related to underwear? Very easily in fact. We choose what pair of underwear we are going to wear based on how we feel, whether it be how we feel about ourselves or how we feel about the situation we’re about to be in such as work, gym, date night, etc. Most of us probably do this subconsciously without thinking we’re making our choices this way, but we totally do. So with that said, I consciously make my underwear choices based on not only what I’ll be doing and who will see me, but also how I feel about myself and about the situation, which in turn will boost my self-confidence if I make the correct choice.

Does my thinking that make sense to any of you?! I’m not confident it does. Maybe I have the wrong undies on! Haha! Just kidding.

Let me ask you Tim, in addition to the initial question you asked, do you have any situations where you felt underwear gave you confidence?

UNBTIM
I have the perfect example where undies gives me confidence. I currently am in a job search. We all know searching for a job sucks. It’s endless back and forth. Plus interviews. Which I think I have come to see them as an interview for both not just them interviewing me. I always wear something that makes me feel great. I have tried to wear Cocksox in the past but it’s a little too bulgetacular. I stick with some tried and true favorites. Plus something with a little fun factor. I refrain from wearing something new or different style than I normally wear. Those can majorly distract me. So, no thongs or boxer briefs. It’s more bikinis and briefs. Some that I love to wear are John Sievers, Andrew Christian, Big Boy Pants, Gregg Homme and a few more.

What about you? Any experiences where you were able to increase your confidence?

UndiesFool:

Absolutely! I’ve had several experiences where I’ve found undies have increased my confidence in a situation. There’s one story that always comes to mind. I once wore my red Intymen Sport thong to a board of directors meeting. I was the VP of the board and the President of the board could not make the meeting, so that meant I was now in charge and had to lead the meeting. It was an important meeting because we had to discuss the future of the organization and possible changes to its leadership as well as executive compensation. I was nervous as all hell, so to help calm my nerves and boost my self-confidence, I decided I should wear a pair of power undies in addition to my power tie. I picked out my red Intymen Sport thong because it matched my red tie and it was the only red thong I had at the time. I slipped them on under my suit and immediately felt empowered. I sat at the head of the boardroom table amongst my fellow board members which consisted of CEOs, CFOs, politicians, and some other seriously high powered people, and I felt confident in everything I said and a true sense of power. After the meeting was adjourned, a couple of the members came up to the head of the table to congratulate me for successfully guiding the board through some difficult and stressful decisions. As I sat there listening to their compliments, I couldn’t help but think to myself that little did they know it wasn’t the red power tie, but my red power thong that made me so confident that night!

Personally I’ve found the skimpier the undies, the bigger sense of empowerment and self-confidence. It seems counterintuitive that a skimpy g-string, thong, jockstrap or jockbrief would give you this feeling, but for me it does and that’s why you might catch me occasionally wearing a jockstrap under my suit to the office. It’s a fun secret and it gives you a sense of power over the people you’re with because you know something they don’t

What styles do you wear when you need to boost your confidence?

UNBTIM:

My favorite pairs are bikinis and briefs. It goes back to the first pairs I ever bought in underwear. I ditched the bad fitting tighty whities for form fitting bikinis. I remember how incredible I felt in them. It was like nothing I ever felt before. I got the support I craved and in some great fabrics and styles. Who knew that just a simple pair of cloth would make you feel so amazing. I had the “Where has this underwear been all my life?” When I wear something similar now it takes me back to those days.

A few pairs that I put on to boost the confidence are Cocksox CX01, Mundo Unico, Erogwear and Big Boys Pants. When I really want to boost the confidence I wear the CX01 from Cocksox. I feel invincible in these. The only down side is that it creates a bigger bulge than normal in my pants. This can be good or bad. I try to compensate and wear pants that don’t enhance the bulge. Some maybe going “Why are you doing that? Flaunt it.” Well some times it’s business setting where showing off is not really encouraged. If it’s something out for my private life I don’t mind showing off a little.

On the other hand there are pairs that I don’t wear on days I need confidence. I rarely wear boxer briefs, thongs, mesh and new pairs. I need to rely on the true and trusted pairs. On days where i need to be top of my game. It’s not the time to experiment with underwear. Because, there is nothing more distracting than wearing an annoying pair of underwear. Your focus is on the undies and not your day.

To wrap this up, what advice do you have for guys who need boost their confidence?

UndiesFool:

Be honest and true to yourself. You can’t be confident without knowing who you are and accepting yourself first. Stop worrying about what other people might think and wear what makes you feel good about yourself. When we are comfortable and feeling great about ourselves and our choices, we feel confident. For me, a skimpier pair like a thong or jockstrap usually gives me a boost to my self-confidence. For Tim, it’s a pair of bikini briefs that he’s worn over and over that has never let him down. For others, it may be a hot pair of boxer-briefs. The fact is that there’s no right choice in which style underwear to wear other than your choice! So I say go empower yourselves and pull up those sexy undies you want to wear and start feeling confident!

UNBTim:

I couldn’t have said it better! Thanks for taking the time to talk undies and confidence with me!

Looking for  a fun pair of underwear this year for Halloween? We may have just the pair for you. It’s also a pair you can wear year round and not just on the spooky time of the year. N2N had created the new Skull Bikini. I can’t remember if they have ever created a Theme underwear before. If they have, I haven’t seen it.

The new pair, I wish they made a line out of this because it would be super hot in a thong! Is a Skull print. As I said it’s not Halloween specific so it can be a funky print you wear year round. The second thing to know is its a mesh fabric. You can’t see it in the picture above, but it will show off more! It’s not going to be super translucent but you can make out certain things.

For those of you wondering, if it’s a true Bikini. I would unequivocally say yes. It has a think waistband, high cut and thin sides. N2N Bodywear knows all about how to make an amazing bikini! It is a pair I really want. Its very fun and sexy to me. Plus, I am a big fan of bikinis.

I originally saw this on Andrew’s personal Facebook page. He posted a picture of himself in them, as what is to come. I really loved what I saw. I am glad the pair is finally out! I highly recommend these for the fun factor alone. I would suggest a few places to wear them but hell you could wear them anywhere. I dare any of our readers to wear this pair to the gym. If you do tell us about your experience.

COLORS: As seen
FABRIC: 100% Nylon

to-bulge-orWe here at UNB tackle the most pressing issues in underwear! Just kidding, this post came to me earlier this month. We are all guys and all show some sort of bulge through out the day. But I have run across times when bulging is frowned upon. Being one of the guys who shows a bulge no matter what I wear, I thought it would be good to address this topic.

Why did I pick this topic? We want to empower you guys to wear what you want. But, with the recent (in the last few years) for enhancing technology in men’s underwear. Are there times when we should or shouldn’t wear them? We are not doing this to shame or criticize anyone but we’re curious as to what you guys do?

It all boils down to where do you feel its appropriate. My own background, if you’re a long time reader, I’m more on the endowed size. I show a bulge in just about anything I wear. Yeah, sometimes it’s very noticeable to me and other times it’s not. The perfect example was I went to a Professional Bull Riding event at the GA Dome, here in Atlanta. I wore my tight jeans, cowboy boots and a 2(X)ist Y-Back thong. A guy walked past me, Looked me in the eye, then to my crotch and back to my eye. I didn’t pay attention to how much I was bulging. But after that experience I realized, I could be showing off a bit.

Another incident, which I have recounted on the blog before, was going to an interview. I was reviewing a pair of Cocksox CX01 briefs. I looked down at my dress pants and it looked like I was smuggling fruit in my pants. I changed my underwear before heading to the interview. I didn’t think it was appropriate to show off that much to an interview. In more professional settings I am aware of what I show. Somedays there is nothing I can do, it’s just the reality of being an endowed guy.

I talked to The Bottom Drawer on here about this. He said “Fine to show off to your partner, but definitely there is a line that is too far. I think enhancing some is fine. Women have the push up bra to enhance their cleavage, so why not allow a guy to have some enhancement.” I agree, I think some enhancement can make guys feel sexier and confident.

Personally, I think there is a balance to when to bulge and when not too. When at work or in a professional setting I tend to go with underwear that doesn’t show off as much. If I’m going out for a night on the town I see nothing wrong with showing off the goods.

Also, let’s talk about something gets a bad wrap. Swim briefs. There is a misnomer that because you wear a swim brief you will show a big bulge. Yes there are pairs that will show it all off. However, most don’t enhance what a guy naturally possesses. Most of complaints of swim briefs are they are too bulgey. It’s obscene. Well, guys have bulges, some bigger some smaller, you don’t expect women to make their breast size smaller in bikini. So why should we do the same for our bulge?

Sorry I had to go off on that tangent. It could be an entire post on it’s own. We want to know what you think on the bulge issue. Vote in our poll. And share your thoughts. We also have a comment section for you to put in comments. Let us know!

The Bottom Drawer's Top 8 Favorite Underwear PairsIt’s UNB’s 8th anniversary, so in honor of that I’m going to do a wrap up of my 8 favorite pairs of underwear in my collection. In normal fashion, we’ll count down to my favorite pair.

8. Doreanse Euro Thong (1392)

I finally bought myself this Doreanse thong this year and find it a great thong. For those that remember the Undergear French thong (A300), this is an excellent substitute. I think it is even better. It’s a super soft fabric and a great cut, which I like better than the French thong. It’s sort of a v-string, but with normal thong sides.Doreanse Euro Thong 1392

7. Prevail Sport String Thong Brief

I’m a big fan of the brand Prevail Sport, which you’ll see by this list. So this is my number seven pick from my underwear drawer. It’s basically a traditional cut thong, but a little less frontal coverage. Also these are a nice and snug fit, which is one thing I look for in a great pair of underwear. One thing different with Prevail Sport is they do most of their thong backs in a black lycra fabric.Prevail Sport String Thong Brief

6. Prevail Sport Rio Brief

Number six is another pair from Prevail Sport. The rio brief is again a snug fitting pair that has string sides to show off those legs. The back is a around ¾ back and has a contoured centered seamed front pouch the holds everything nicely.Prevail Sport Rio Brief

5. Fagioni Clip Thong

The Fagionu clip thong is one I have had for a while and it is a very comfortable thong. One I’d recommend for beginners. They’re made out a satin like material and you really don’t know you are wearing a thong. Only negative is they aren’t the snuggest fit, but enough support. The fun part is these have clips on the side for your partner to have easy access or for you to doing a strip tease.Fagioni Clip Thong

4. Dietz Joker Mini Slip

Dietz is a brand I’ve discovered somewhat recently. Of the four pairs I now own, the Joker mini slip is my favorite from them. It comes down to a nice snug fit that holds everything in place. I like the two tone front pouch and yellow just brighten things up.Dietz Joker Bikini Brief

3. Blueline T-Back Thong

Blueline is another brand I’ve discovered in the past few years and I’d say it isn’t a real mainstream brand. Now this is a skimpy thong, which pretty much molds to you. I consider it a v-string and not a t-back. It’s a very narrow v-shaped contour pouch, so may not be for the well endowed. I think it holds everything nicely and basically is showing everything you got off.Blueline T-back Thong

2. Blueline Microfiber String Bikini

This bikini is the first pair of underwear I ordered of the brand Blueline and got me into trying others. I wouldn’t really say there is something spectacular about it. I’m just a fan of a solid string bikini, since they are the first style that I tried when branching out from the dreaded whitey tighties. I love the fit of it and the microfiber fabric.Blueline String Bikini

1. Prevail Sport’s String Brief

I’ve been wearing this bikini style from Prevail Sport for about 15 years now. It has been my go to bikini ever since I discovered them. The cut of the bikini reminds me of the swim briefs that you see bodybuilders wearing. The ¾ back, narrow sides, and just the right amount coverage of the pouch along with the snugness fit make these my top underwear pick. They’re holding the position strong!Prevail Sport String Brief

168933_10150093447564375_23155374374_5870803_3900917_n

One brand that I know a lot of our readers miss is UnderGear. They are one of the main ways many of us got our underwear back in the day. Some of us called in and others shopped online. The BodyTech was a line that was exclusive to UnderGear. It’s still hard to believe one of the monolith companies in the world of underwear is gone!

UnderGear was a shop that shaped so many of us out there. A lot of guys were first exposed to underwear outside of Hanes and FOTL. It showed them that there were more than tighty whities and boxers. Bikinis, thongs and more were styles that were for men as well.

I reviewed these back in the day and still have them with the matching shirt. We definitely miss them and were hoping they would be revived in some way. But as of this post they are still MIA.
