Our friends at His Trunks sent out an email about these yesterday. I think these are pretty awesome briefs. As you know I love briefs and prefer them over all styles. This pair I think is really cool and interesting. That is why we choose it as our Underwear of the Week.
These are by ManView, a company I haven’t tried before. I love the cut of these. They are a brief cut but smaller then a traditional brief. The next thing I love is that is like a tighty whity with the fly in the front. The last thing I love is the wider waistband with everyone’s favorite number “69″ on it. The really interesting thing to me is the seam in the front. It looks like it has a fitted pouch. So it’s a mix of traditional and new!
This pair is available in four colors: Grey, Blue, White and Yellow. The sides of this pair is 4 inches wide and 2 inches of those are the waistband. Which I think it a good thing. It will fit well because there is 5% spandex mixed in with the cotton. They are available from His Trunks for $18. Check them out!
 
 
I wanted to do something really fun for Underwear of the Week. After seeing so many pairs at Magic I wanted to profile a new company, Clever. This pair is the Tahiti Trunk. I love the design of the pair. It’s a fun pair with a solid crotch. It’s great to see some fun in men’s underwear and this is fun to me. I know it’s not the taste for everyone but I think underwear should be fun and add something to your wardrobe!

All this week Underwear News Briefs has been featuring exclusive content from the upcoming Gregg Homme 2011 Collection. This week we decided to feature one of Gregg Homme’s new styles as our underwear of the week. We Choose the Blue Leopard style because it will come in not just one cut, but four different cuts. For this week’s Undies of the Week, we are featuring the B*Boy Jock Strap Brief. The strap brief is offered in black or white and the straps are a cool combo of the two. Jock straps are a fun, sexy, and revealing choice to add spice to your life personally and outwardly.

Okay, if you have been following me for any amount of time here on the site you know I have a true affinity to anything sheer. This week’s Undies of the Week are no different. It is N2N Sheer Mesh Pouch Boxer N10. I love everything about this boxer. It has an awesome pouch, low cut waist, full leg coverage and IT IS SHEER! J

The Underwear of the Week this week is something that I think is a lot of fun, it’s the Ergowear Max Light Brief. I love a pair with a great pouch, and wanted to showcase some really great pouch underwear.
If you aren’t familiar with Ergowear, they are a company that is ergonomically designed to fit a man’s body. They have taken the time to really research and make some really great undies. They may look a little strange, and you maybe hesitant to try them, but once you put them on you will LOVE them. Ok, maybe I’m projecting that, but I think the pouch just fits really great. If you love undies that make you feel like you aren’t wearing any, these are definitely for you. .

It is snowing here, and we don’t get much snow in the town of Atlanta. So I wanted something that is really fun for the Underwear of the Week. Our pair this week is the Private Structure Pineapple Trunk and can be bought at UnderGear. I think this is a really fun pair that isn’t too childish. Some pattern underwear can get too crazy and if our friends see it, they will go, “What are you wearing?”
This is not a pair many would wear to the gym. It’s a great date night pair though, pineapples are not something you would expect to see. Underwear should be fun and not just something to wear. I think Private Structure is one that does a great job with underwear.

This week’s underwear of the week is from a brand you may not have seen much, Its from Puma. I haven’t seen this brand in stores, very often, in the States. I have a pair of briefs I got at Century 21 in NYC a few years ago and they are one of my favorite pairs. They are well made and just fit me like a glove.
Puma underwear is a brand that has a very sporty design. They are perfect for a guy that works out, plays sports or just wants some extra support. They have a more contemporary and modern design. I really like the look of their line and think they have made a great core line.
The Puma Active Leisure Trunk is our choice this week. I have, in the past few years, been wearing more trunks. I like them because they have the fit of a brief but more coverage. However, with me the jury is still out on boxer briefs… but enough about that. I choose these for the design. I ran it by John our Asst. Editor and he said “Ooo I Like” and those are “super cute.” I agree, I think they are fun, and I think Puma doesn’t get a lot of attention in the US. Not sure if that’s by design or they just haven’t gotten into the US Market.

Check out this week’s Undies of the Week. It is a new arrival at Go Softwear. An exciting new design: Mesh scoop thong. It is a scoop thong that is a hot seller for obvious reasons. Look how nice it is! It has a thong back with mesh side panels and a “scoop” pouch that gives it a European flare. The waist is made of soft elastic for your pleasure.
These are great looking with a little peek-a-boo key hole on either side of the front. It adds a great point of interest to this thong. Also, I like them because they are sheer. I just like sheer, what can I say? The look is awesome and interesting and my wife likes it a lot, too. It’s a win/win situation. It’s a great pick for Undies of the Week and a fun look for us to enjoy.
