British manufacturer Sulis use pure silk jersey to make luxurious underwear, nightwear and thermal wear for men.
Pure silk jersey is knitted from 100% silk threads to form a fine, soft and naturally stretchy material. This versatile fabric maximizes silks unique qualities:
- Thermo-regulating – Silk is remarkably warm for such a fine fabric, but also comfortably cool when the temperature rises.
- Moisture wicking – Absorbs and wicks away moisture keeping the skin dry and comfortable.
- Hypoallergenic – The natural protein structure make it kind to even the most sensitive skins.
- Antibacterial – Bacteria do not thrive in silk, keeping it odour free when compared to other fabrics.
The men’s silk jersey underwear collection includes briefs, thongs, boxers and vests. Key items include the Logo Trunks, a fitted boxer brief in pure silk jersey and the Logo Brief. Both in pure silk jersey with a comfortable wide elastic waistband.
The silk jersey lounge pants and top are probably the softest nightwear available anywhere. This fine material moves and stretches with the body for the perfect nights sleep.
Silks amazing thermal properties mean that no other fabric is better suited for thermal wear. Sulis have a range of silk jersey thermal vests and long johns, perfect for the cold and winter sports. Thermals are also available in a unique “heavyweight” silk jersey, a thicker fabric providing even more insulation and suitable to wear on its own.
Silk jersey can be machine washed with a delicate detergent below 40°C. It dries very quickly and will last for years if taken care of.
