Welcome UNB Readers to my first review! Before I get started I want to encourage you all to provide any feedback you may have about my review. I want to make sure I am capturing what you guys want to know more about so if I miss anything don’t hesitate to leave me a comment! Onto the good stuff now!

UNB Tim knows my weak spots and sent me the link to the N2N Raider Singlet awhile back. I am working on a seperate piece to dive into my love of bodysuits/one pieces, but just know the obsession is real. Anyways, once I saw it, I immediately ordered it due to the nature of N2N products going quick. And boy howdy I sure am glad I did! Keep reading to find out why…

Rating: 9.2/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Daily Fit: 9/10
Sizing: 10/10
Construction: 10/10
Styling: 10/10
Daily Performance: 7/10

Pros:
Truly comfortable and unless you are wearing nothing else, you will forget it is even on!
Super soft nylon feels AMAZING against your body all day long
Mesh material breathes great during workouts and will get you noticed

Cons:
Bathroom breaks can be tricky
N2N products sell out fast
Too tight in some areas

I would highly recommend this pair (available only on the secondhand market now) but more broadly I would recommend giving N2N bodysuits a try in general. You definitely get what you pay for and in the long run I am seeing the durability outlast many of the cheaper pairs I have bought.

Specifically for the Raider Singlet, this bad boy is hot as all get out and no matter your size or cut preference, if you want a brilliant all-in-one look no further! Going from warm undergear when I am shoveling the driveway to only outfit I need when I work out; it is as versatile as it is sexy!

Introduction Being my first review – and my first recommended pair from UNB Tim – I was both apprehensive but nonetheless thrilled to get my hands wet! I classify singlets in the bodysuit family, so the style was a no-brainer for me. In terms of N2N overall, I have a few of their swimsuits but overall I haven’t delved much into the brand. I have loved the singlets and bodysuits they put out I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much – I mean how good could they be? My swimsuits from them are fantastic so it is nothing about quality or service at all. Quite the opposite in fact; it truly was me trying to justify the cost. Well, I am here to tell you to save your pennies because they aren’t charging enough.

For this review, and all others, I am a firm believer of putting each pair through its paces. From experience, it is one thing wearing it to bed but something else entirely to go about your day-to-day. I am a fairly active individual and would comfortably say that almost anyone could wear this on a daily basis. From grocery shopping to helping a friend move, it was a universal pair that I often found myself going for but it was already in the wash. What was a bonus is that if you get hot during whatever activity – you can easily wear this with shorts/pants and be totally comfortable.

N2N is no slouch when it comes to the quality of their products and the Raider Singlet continues that notion for me. I have had this now for about a couple of months and after repeated washings and wearings it still looks and feels brand new. The only true critique I have is that the elastic around the legs is firm so allow yourself extra time for the bathroom. That said, it tends to be a common issue depending on the type of singlet so I can’t fault them too much.

Being 6’2” has its goods and bads, and I want to let everyone know that with height comes the battle of size. I am a thinner guy and normally wear mediums in my underwear, but with bodysuits/singlets I have to go up a size otherwise bye-bye shoulders! I find mostly that the height stretches suits out enough to work but every now and then I notice extra fabric in places it shouldn’t be. This was the goldilocks however – no matter what position I bent myself into or stretch I did, this sucker held on in all the right places!

Needless to say, I fear anytime UNB Tim now recommends something as I know without a doubt it will be something I absolutely, positively, 100% must have and cannot live without! Just kidding, I love getting those messages, although maybe not my bank account… If you are able to find the Raider singlet do not hesitate to scoop it up for its flexibility and feel. It truly is a part of my go-to drawer now and have I said how good it makes you look wearing it yet?

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Fit: 9/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 10/10

Pros: The stretch fit hugs and feels excellent to me. I also really like how AC created a sexy cut to this singlet, with deep low reveals – offering a very hot look. The fit will be flattering to many shapes, which is something I find important to note.

Cons: While this is an excellent product in general, this pattern might not be my favorite. The $ theme is fun, but not my personal taste.

I am a long time AC supporter, as I find they have a wide range of products geared toward guys looking for a good fit and a large variety of styles. They take risks and offer new cuts and styles of men’s underwear and other clothes that are unique and sexy and comfortable. I love many of my thongs and jocks, and they are the first brand I found with a jock/thong – something I found very sexy and a unique combination. Singlets, in general, are somewhat new to me, but I was very excited to give this one a try, as it was my first singlet from AC and was happy to find they lived up to their standards. Personally, being a thicker guy, I fear a singlet (traditionally) to be unflattering and call attention to all of the areas I was self-conscious about. But happy to see this was not the case.

I have yet to wear these out and about, as I think they call for a special occasion or play date but will bring them with me to PTown this summer and think they might make an appearance there. In the meantime – I spend the afternoon in them around the house. As a big undies fan, I was not sure how they would feel, but I truly enjoyed them! Feeling the shoulder straps stretch and tug gently as I moved about was a fun aspect, and the fabric was soft and comfortable. Having them snug on my rear end was great for good booty look, which always makes me happy. So while not daily wear, fun addition to a gear night or other fun adventure. The rainbow colors also make them a good fit for pride events.

True to AC fashion, this is a well-crafted garment. It withstood very well during my wearing and moving about. Snug fit on me could easily put some strain on the seams, but no signs of weakness for sure. And it washed well without any pilling or struggles. I’d also like to mention the very comfortable fitted pouch. I believe this is the Almost Naked style AC is known for, and always fits right and shows off a significant bulge.

For me, I had on an XL, which many of my followers are shocked to see me in. But I find AC sizing to be forgiving to larger guys and able to accommodate us with comfort. I can’t speak to smaller sizes or fits but I know this one worked for me. Also, being 6’ tall, and new to singlets, I was worried about the shoulders being too snug – but that worked great too and fit very well. The biggest area of concern for me was the belly region, but with this cut, it falls right above the pubic area and left my belly free from impact on sizing. Same with the skimpy back, allowing for the sizing to fit very similar to a pair of AC trunks, rather than a traditional singlet. I was also worried about my thick thighs, and while a bit snug, they fit well – similar to any pair of AC trunks.

As a bigger thick guy, I have had a bit of fear around singlets in general. While they are incredibly sexy on other guys, and I enjoy the sporty aspect, they have scared me on the fit. I was most pleasantly surprised how well they fit overall and good they made me look. The cute thick edge trim and side details added a sporty vibe that really was an excellent addition. Best of all is the flattering cut and the attractive package and booty they gave me. I’d be very comfortable wearing this for one special partner or showing off at the right themed evening. Therefore, I’m happy to give this a 9/10 for my first review. Very recommended!

  • PAIR: Andrew Christian Dirty Cash Singlet
  • COLORS: Dirty Cash (Rainbow $)
  • FABRIC:
  • SIZES: S, M, L, XL
  • COST: $29 (currently on sale to $14.50)

The Go Softwear AJ Team Singlet was bought for review. All opinions are that of the reviewer.

Rating: 9/10

  • Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 9/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Fabric: 8/10

Pros:
Singlet has a traditional cut/design
The blue and red are the perfect color combo
It’s made of a mesh that takes the design to a new sexy level

Cons:
The mesh may be too bold for some guys.
It doesn’t have the same give/stretch of spandex.
If tall it may be tight in the shoulders

Recommendation: If you love sexy singlets this one is for you. You can wear it under jeans for a night out or alone for a night in. The mesh isn’t as see through as I thought. It’s perfect for guys wanting to venture into the erotic world of singlets.

Go Softwear makes some awesome singlets. They have been one of my go-to brands for singlets. I have several from them and always super happy with them. The last one I reviewed was the AJ Team Wrestler is one of my new favorites. This made me super excited to try this one that was mesh.

Where do you wear a singlet? In my past its either out for a gear night or a night in for some, well fun. Since I wasn’t having either of those while wearing this one I just wore it around the house. Unlike the Wrestler singlet it was a little harder to get on. This is due to the fabric not being the nylon/spandex blend. It’s not as stretchy as the Wrestler. But it wasn’t super uncomfy. It just took me a few minutes to get on. After it was on only a few things reminded me the shoulder straps were tight. But it wasn’t too bad.

Go Softwear makes amazing singlets. They are always well designed and constructed. I have never had an issue with the quality of Go Softwear. They have always met or exceeded my expectations. This one is made out of an 88% Polyester 12% Spandex blend. I will say my favorite is a nylon spandex blend. But this one is just as good I think.

Sizing for singlets is always hard to tell. It’s not like underwear where you can focus on waist size. If you’re 6’4″ and 180 you may not be a medium. You have to take into account height. At first, it’s a guessing game, and you have to experiment. After a few times, you should see what size fits you. I got an XL, and it fits me well.

If you want a super fun singlet put the GO Softwear AJ Team Singlet in your line up. It’s fun and sexy without being over the top. Where can you wear it? I’ll leave that up to you and your imagination. That’s up to individuals to figure out where and when is best to wear a singlet.

PAIR: Go Softwear AJ Team Singlet
COLORS: Navy/Red or Olive/Yellow

Pros: The print is freaking amazing, I mean Unicorns. It’s a low cut singlet. Has an amazing pouch.

Cons: legs could use a little more room. Being tall it was a bit tight on the shoulders. The print could turn guys off or the pouch may be too pouchy (but not for me).

Recommendation: If you love fun singlets this is a must (if it’s still for sale on the site). These are pretty much limited edition and go fast. But note that the style is made into other singlets. If you can’t get the unicorn you can get another in this form soon

Andrew Christian is no stranger to the world of singlets. When I was going through the site and saw the unicorn print I had to have this one! I mean it has unicorns on it! What is not to like about it!!! This is one of the more traditional singlets that Andrew Christian makes.

This was a pair I wore around the house one day. I mean there are only so many places you can wear a singlet, well outside of the bedroom. I usually use them to hang out in or keep me warm in cold weather. However, I have had friend mention doing a singlet game night. More on that if it happens.

Lately, I have been having the tall curse when it comes to singlet. Being 6’4″ the straps get a bit tight. This isn’t a design limitation more of they can’t make singlets to fit all heights and I”m on the upper end of the tall scale. But luckily it wasn’t too bad. The only other issue is if you have bigger thighs you may have an issue with the leg openings being a bit tight. I had this as well. But the print I keep coming back too. It made me smile as I wore it.

Sizing for singlets are a bit tricky. It’s not solely based on waist size. You have to think of a lot more issues. You may have a medium waist but be taller and need to go a size up. It takes a bit of trial and error when shopping. Taller guys may have issues. My two issues are above but waist wise the pair fit great

I LOVE this pair so much. The print, yes I am a bit obscessed and hope to see a lot more of these fun prints from Andrew Christian.

N2N Bodywear Power lifter singlet was not furnished for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Gruff Pup.

  • Fit: 7/10
  • Sizing: 8/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 10/10
  • Fabric:9/10

Pros: the cut of this singlet is pretty awesome. It has very classic styling. It’s super sexy design

Cons: Being tall it sorta felt constricting. Tall guys may have issues. They are limited editon and not sure if you will find them on the site.

Hi, my name in UNB Tim and I am a singlet addict. I have probably 15 N2N Bodywear singlets. They make some of my all time favorite singlets. So when I got these I was super excited! These singlets are super limited edition.

I think one of the reasons this didn’t fit as well as others is I wore it under my clothes to an Xmas party. I think had it just been a singlet event (aka hang out at home) it would have fit better. I”m going to give it another go but have been sick since that night. BLEH, a winter cold that won’g go aweay.

This design is super fun. It’s a mix of classic and sexy. I personally love the more classic cut one. The fabric is great and fun. The navy blue with the white trim is totally a classic color combo. One of my all time favorite ones I have ever owned was a real singlet in this color combo.

If you can get this one still check it out. You can’t really go wrong with an N2N Singlet. BTW I’m still writing this on cold meds so I hope it makes sense.

UNB bought the Gruff Pup IMPULSE SINGLET for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Gruff Pup.

Rating: 8.8/10 (Average of the ratings below)

  • Fit: 8/10
  • Sizing: 7/10
  • Construction: 10/10
  • Styling: 9/10
  • Fabric: 10/10

Pros:

  1. Very well made
  2. Will show off your booty and crotch nicely
  3. The fabric has an excellent feel to it

Cons:

  1. While the length was perfect for my body height, I found the thigh areas to be very restraining

Recommendation:

This is my first time wearing gear from Gruff Pup, and wearing a singlet that is made from Polyamide/Spandex as my previous singlets are made from Polyester/Spandex. This is also a different style of singlet than what I’m used to wearing as I’m used to the traditional high school/college wrestling singlet.

While I did not have the opportunity to wear it out to gear night at any of the local bars or clubs, I did wear it around the house during housework and projects. I also wore it once out in public under a T-Shirt and sweatpants. This singlet can definitely be worn either at a gear night or just around the house.

This is my first piece of gear that was made out of this fabric. I really was surprised at how much I really liked both how the fabric felt on me, and how it actually looked. The construction of the singlet is very strong; it’s not cheaply done as you will see in the next paragraph. The fabric and stitching will stand up to a good amount of wear and tear. As someone who cherishes his gear, I can tell you that this singlet will be put to great use and I’m not worried it’s going to fall apart anytime soon.

As a bigger guy, I got the XL size. I found the straps to perfect length for me (5’10”.) As I was neither worried that I was pulling the fabric too much nor that it was too lose and looked sloppy on me. The problem I did have came from having very thick thighs. I found the elastic around the thighs to be very tight, almost uncomfortable. While the models in the pictures show them as a short boxer briefs type, I wore them as briefs. This made the singlet more comfortable. I will say though, the fabric held up well around my thick thighs. The fabric also stretched properly around my large booty.

I would recommend this singlet, but with caution that those who are a bit bigger and have big thighs will need to be ready to compromise a bit with wearing the legs as briefs. The sizes are S-XL with XL being 36-39. Like any gear, if you take care of it, it will take care of you, and I believe this singlet will hold up for a good long with normal to high usage. This singlet will definitely show off your booty and crotch area, and I believe would be great for a night at gear night, or just wearing it around the house playing video games, or doing housework. This singlet will remain in my collection and rotation.

IMG_2350Singlets have been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. I have written many times about my love of them. Now they have hit mainstream and a lot of companies are making them. Some are for more work out activities and others are more erotic in nature. While I wouldn’t say the LA Pop Singlet is an “erotic” singlet it is super sexy.

When I got to pick what I wanted UNB to review, this was top of the list. And luckily they sent us one to review. When I was in Vegas and met with them about the new collection. Their wholesale guy said there was one singlet I was going to love. I was curious as to which it is. The USA singlet had been released and it was awesome. When the model came out in this I was hooked. I had to have it. The print is amazing and fun.

Its always difficult to review a singlet to me. I mean I’m not going to find someone and best of 5 pins wins. Its not something you want to wear to work, because it’s not practical to wear under work clothes. So how do you review it? I wore it one night while I was watching TV and to sleep in. I figured that if it was super comfy to sleep in, any activity would be good in it.

The first thing I noticed was the great fit. Sometimes singlets can have really tight straps that were hard to put on. That is, some singlets you put on through the neck, through the side. Others can be just annoying when you can’t stretch the material to get it on. This singlet I put on through the arm opening. The shoulder straps went over my head without issues and fit snug in the shoulder.

The LA Pop singlet is made out of 83% nylon 17% spandex fabric. A singlet you want in thicker material, especially if you want to have it on during any athletic activity. The fabric is bright made out of blues, yellows, oranges and purples. It’s a more abstract print. The fabric is off set by black trim that frames it nicely. The neck, arm and neck openings are all black. Most singlets tent to be solids or color blocks. This is a breath of fresh air in the world of singlets.

I found this singlet super comfy to sleep in. I have slept in many singlets over the years. Sometimes the shoulder straps dig in or they loose their shape. This one did not do either. If felt amazing to wear all night. When I woke up I didn’t’ want to take it off. The pouch is great too. Its not defined like the Performance X singlets I have but its supportive and holds your goods nicely.

Sizing for singlets can be tricky. It’s not like underwear. You have to take in your height, waist size and build. If you are a medium in underwear but yet over 6’2” you will need to get a larger size. If you’re a more muscular or beefy guy you def need to look at a larger size. The singlet I received was an XL. The reason is I’m 6’4”, stocky and there is no way I would be in a large. Even when I was in better shape XL for my height always fit. This is true for a spandex material.

Pros:

  • Super amazing print
  • Great materials
  • Fits great

Cons:

  • Sizing for a singlet could be an issue
  • Some may not like a bright print.
