The pair I got to review is the Pistol Pete Tease Jock. Having the feeling of support is most important when wearing a jock strap. But having the freedom is also important.
Mostly I have nothing but positive comments to make in regards to this jock strap. First of all, I LOVED the fit. It was very comfortable. At times, it felt as though I was wearing nothing. It was fantastic. The Sheer material was very soft and breathable which I love. The top band doesn’t cut off or restrict your waist. It has a very pleasant feel to it and it also cups your package very well. This Jock Strap feels like you are wearing nothing but yet I still have the support. Also the sheer material keeps you nice and cool down there so you don’t get sweaty as you can with wearing a regular jock strap.
The first and only con I have is that it is made of a thin material so I would be scared for it to rip easily or not being durable. Even though it moves well, if it was to shrink it may rip. But With the material being Sheer and pre shrunk, I don’t think it would rip unless pulled on very hard or getting caught by a sharp object.
Overall, This is a pair of underwear that you can wear daily or wear in sporting events. Just make sure the other boys don’t get too jealous of your jock! I would recommend this to any man that wants to try a jock strap that he can wear with any activity. Or for a man who is just getting into some gear wear. It is so good, that you can wear it wherever and whenever you want!

- Great Fit
- Soft Materials
- Great pouch

The saying usually goes ‘Now you see it, now you don’t’ … but the Bum Chums Sneak Peek briefs let others see it all day long! This particular pair comes in black and features mesh-body brief with their signature, logo waistband. The Waistband is elastane, while the body of the brief is made of nylon and lycra.
I tossed these briefs into my gym bag, knowing that I would be heading out straight from the gym that night for and event before a late dinner. Upon first inspection, I noticed that the rise was slightly lower than a previous pair of Bum Chums I had reviewed a week or two prior. I preferred this lower rise, and also how thin and light the fabric was, fitting nicely under my ‘straight from the dryer’ jeans that night! I always enjoy knowing that I have a fun secret under it all!
Who couldn’t resist a pair of mesh briefs? Especially in a black basic cut like this particular pair! The briefs were quite comfortable, with a soft waistband and elastic trip. I really enjoyed the fact that these had a single-layered pouch; I have noticed that many brand double layer the front of mesh briefs for some reason or another. There is a center seam that runs down the front of the pouch, while the rear is constructed of a single piece. The cut of the brief accentuated my assets quite nicely, however, the pouch didn’t have much of a contour to it, squishing my ‘gents’ quite close to my body … This didn’t look right, I have come to find that for a mesh brief to achieve a certain level of ‘sex appeal,’ they have to have more of a pouch to properly present things up and out, as opposed to compressing them.
Like with all Bum Chums, my only real complaint it the large tag fixed to the outside of the wait band on most of their garments. This tag is far too large, and doesn’t have much of a purpose other than carrying a logo. There is a size and care tag sticker fixed to the inside of the waistband, which is meant to be removed before use, however, I am the first to forget such instructions. The pouch was also not quite roomy enough.
Pros
- single layered pouch
- sheer, soft mesh
- soft waistband
Con’s
- uneven seaming
- small pouch
- front logo tag

Coming off of a very strong first pair, I’m now ready to conquer another Bum-Chums review. But will it fair as well as its counterpart?
Yes! I’m thoroughly impressed with Bum-Chums so far. Their underwear is sexy, stylish, unique, well built, and not badly priced. The Bum-Chums In2Cooler Air Brief is no exception. Made of a cotton/Lycra/polyamide mesh blend, and available in white, black, and red. This brief encompasses everything that I’m starting to feel Bum-Chums stands for.
Take for example the mesh. Other companies mesh can look trashy, either cheaply made or just being too blunt in what is shown. Bum-Chums (while showing off a great deal in this pair) has found a way to show off the mesh in a very playful and classy way. The mesh is well made, and shaped to show off, but not totally expose.
They are perfect for the average day of wear. I’m not sure I buy into the idea of the mesh cooling your lower bits, but they are quite comfortable even during an early summer picnic.
If Bum-Chums continues in this direction, I’ll have a new favorite brand. They’re fun, sexy, comfortable and always leave me looking forward to the next time that I can wear them (as well as my next pair that I get to review).

I got to review another pair of the Male Basics lace underwear. I enjoyed the last pair MaleBasics and was excited to try another. This time the review Male Basics Triple Lace Thong. Its a lace front pouch with thin multiple elastic straps that make up the waistband. A single thong strap attaches to all three waistbands in the back. The pair was black (which is my favorite color!). I think this is a very sexy pair of underwear
Since the last pair was so comfortable I figured I would wear them to work all day. Spending 9 hours of sitting at a desk in a comfortable pair of underwear and then test them out at the gym. Its not often that I find a pair of underwear to be so uncomfortable that I have to take them off. After 6 hours they came off. This underwear is very hot but it is not a pair that you could wear for a long time. They are more suited as a pair of lingerie that you put on with the intent of taking them off quickly. Hopefully someone else is removing them off of you. Wink wink.
I had to readjust the thong strap several times because it was too short for a comfortable fit. When elastic is as thin as it was in this underwear it has a tendency to dig into the skin more when it is tight and this to be the case with the thong strap. Some people would think I needed to get a bigger size but the waist fit perfectly. The pouch offered less room than I needed. Perhaps if Male Basics continues to offer this product they would reconsider the length of the strap and use more lace in the front for guys that need more room.
Buy this if you want to turn your partner on. Just don’t sit at your desk too long wearing it.
Pros-
- Sexy design
- Fun Waistband
Cons-
- Short thong strap
- Flatted pouch

The Equmen Crew Neck shirt is the pair I was lucky to review. If you are a long time reader of the blog you will know I have tried a few different Equmen prodcuts. They are usually very well made and fit great!
If you are not familiar with Equmen they are made to strengthen your core and help wilt your posture. Which the shirt does nicely, it makes you pay attention to your posture. I noticed a few times how tall I was standing. Equemen are sort of shapewear but not exactly. I know that sounds crazy but it’s a mix.
The shirt I received was white and really fit in under my dress shirt. I don’t think many knew I was wearing a t-shirt that wasn’t a regular shirt. I wore this to work just to see how it would do in daily wear. It was really great. It didn’t ride up, bind or really be noticeable.
With that said, I am not one to wear undershirts on a regular basis. If you are like me if you wear another layer of clothes you get much hotter during the day. Here in Atlanta, that week it was a little warmer and it was a little annoying. The other thing that is a pain is getting it on after a shower. It’s like you are wrestling to get it on. I think if you turn it inside out and put it on you will be fine, but after a shower it doesn’t want to move.
Pros:
- Great Fit
- Increased Posture
- Strengthens your core
Cons:
- Made me hot
- Wrestled to get on

As an avid underwear fan, I’m always excited to try out new brands. However, I find it is so easy for me to just stick with my favorites on a daily basis, and I end up missing out on some great new brands that are out there. Like this bikini from Cover Male.
Launched in 2011, Cover Male creates sexy underwear that a man can wear on a daily basis. This is a goal of many underwear companies, I Cover Male has hit the nail just about on the head with this one.
I love the waistband on these. The name squarely centered on the front and back between the Cover Male logo, I didn’t feel any binding that is often the reason I don’t wear some of the briefs I own (I hate having to tug at the waist band of some briefs, and there’s nothing worse then a brief-induced muffin top). I reviewed a Medium size, which fit perfectly for my 31-inch waist. The fabric, 83% polyester & 17% spandex, feels great on the skin. With a center seam, the pouch does a great job of keeping everything in place. I do wish the seat were a little fuller, as I found myself doing the dreaded underwear pick a couple of times throughout the day.

Available in 11 colors. Furnished for review by Cover Male

There is nothing more patriotic than an all American made piece of underwear that only comes in red, white and blue. There is also nothing more patriotic than a great 97% Cotton 3% Spandex jock strap that just screams “please wear me on the playing field.” This strap from Pistol Pete is a true jock that is meant for its purpose, support and comfort!
Wearing this piece for a full day was not as great as I had hoped, however. It is a great piece minus the slight roll which the pouch edge seems to do occasionally. This role causes the sharp edge of the pouch (a striking design from a visual standpoint) to cut into the inner thigh. Once laid back flat, however, the piece returns to its wonderful comfort.
This piece provides comfort, sex appeal, support, and a striking image. Though it may only come in a few colors, it is packed with possibilities. This is a piece of underwear for the American athlete in all of us. A definite must for any playing field. Buy one for the low price of only $18 and play ball!

My second pair of lacey undies left a far better impression on me than the first. The lace jockstrap that I tried out last week left a negative first impression of lace undies. This very untraditional boyshort comes in red, black, and white (I reviewed red) and is made up of 85% nylon, 15% spandex.
The comfort level was the biggest surprise to me. They don’t look at all comfortable, and I thought I would spend all day itching at hair getting stuck in the lace and readjusting, but luckily I was very easily able to forget that I was even wearing them, a characteristic of every good pair of underwear.
Lookwise, it’s on the way to being attractive, but it’s still not quite there for me. I love the concept, but the execution lacks in my eye, the biggest negative being the metal medallions on each strap of the sides of the underwear. They look great on the package, but out of the package look more like plastic. I was unable to easily remove the medallions (I don’t have anything to cut through metal in the house), but they seem unnecessary. I have to say though that the way that the underwear hugs the rear makes a fantastic outline of the bottom of the um… bottom. The rear view is very hot!
Available from the MaleBasics website for $19.50, the MaleBasics Lacie Boyshort hasn’t quite given me the incredible lacey experience that I’ve been hoping for since I first learned about them, but besides the great price, they’ve started to leave me feeling positive for the future of lace undies.

- Comfortable
- Unique lacey design
- Rear hugging

Is it underwear or is it men’s panities? Made of materials which feel very similar to women’s underwear, you would think this 78% Nylon, 22% Spandex brief belonged to a woman not a man. However, the cut and fit are definite made for a man’s frame. The constructed pouch provides support only a good pair of men’s bikini briefs can offer. Add to that the low hip cut and the crossed pattern in the back and you have a wonderfully sexy and very comfortable pair. Speaking of that crossed pattern, it gives just the right amount of glimpse to the assets hidden underneath.
Available in four colors (red, white, black and turquoise) the piece has a decent variety for most people. It is also cost effective. It is only $18 per pair. It does have a downside though. The garment is not washing machine safe and must be hand washed and laid flat to dry. The material, cut, and colors may be reminiscent of women’s panties but these are definitely made for men and are definitely a great pair for any man to have in his drawer.
