Man View Underwear

Hey all you fetish fantasticos! I hope you had a great week. Something really special to me arrived this week in the mail, but you will hear about that soon enough. This week, the hint (if you read last week’s post) was “WHISTLE”.

Did you guess correctly?

SINGLETS!!!!!!! (Whistle, like the way wrestling matches are cued…too vague?)

This week I wanna focus on a specific cut of singlet. The LOW cut racerback singlet. Essentially, what you get is a pair of booty shorts, with some pouch room up front, and then two suspender-like straps going up the chest, around the neck, meeting at the nape in a junction turning into one suspender strap leading to the back of the short.

N2N PX Singlet

As for wrestling, it’s a pretty dumb outfit, but when it comes to ticking the spandex sexytime box, and the sporty sexy time box, it wins. A subtle design aspect of the suspender straps, also ticks the box that “The Notebook” style shirtless hunk in suspenders fits in (come on, don’t tell me a shirtless hunk in suspenders doesn’t do it for ya).

I have a lot of singlets, but only a few of these, it seems like most companies make ONE of these, rather than a whole bunch of different styles. What I love about this style is the way it lifts up the shorts on either side of your pouch, so you get a very nice “weighty” effect to your bulge (no complaints here). The back being racerback also allows you to show a lot of skin, and give a very seductive lead down to your tush.

In my arsenal, i own 2 from N2N Bodywear (2 different kinds of the PX singlet), and one from ManView (a sexy mesh one with neon blue bindings around the edges). I am getting a new one from a different company but it’s still in the mail right now. You will be hearing more about that once it arrives. So many exciting things to share, but can’t do it all at once.

So tell me, do you prefer your singlets higher cut, or are you into the super low cut style?

Tune in next week for more Fetish Friday. As I said, something arrived in the mail this week that I’m very excited about. You will hear part 1 of my excitement next Friday.

Until next time,

TtheAmazing over and out.

MV8004 (3)

My second pair of Manview underwear for review was the Craven Jockstrap in red.  After a positive experience with a pair of briefs last week by Manview, I was anxious to give these a shot.  My first impression was that the fabric felt fantastic. andI liked the modern “fashion” styling rather than a classic jockstrap.  Jocks are not my favorite generally. So I was pleasantly surprised when these ended up being my favorite pair for review yet!

I decided to wear these on a run rather than as underwear since that’s how I typically use a jock.  I think these could easily be worn as daily underwear or for lounging around the house if that’s your style.  It seems that many jocks now are made for fun/play rather than to hold up and be supportive during exercise. So I was really gonna test these!

As a 31-32 waist, these mediums fit just right so I would say they are true to size.  Their chart says 30-32.  The pouch is 85% nylon and 15% spandex so there was plenty of stretch. It hugged everything nicely – both visually and for support.

When pulled these on, the thing I liked most was the fabric – being really soft and supportive.  The bright red color was great. Along with the contrast stitching and elastic around the pouch.  The back straps staying in place during a 4 mile walk/run with very little adjustment needed.  They actually held up as a jock!  I am not a huge fan of classic straps with the really wide waistband and basic elastic straps that scratch a bit.  These were a great modern take that also did their job and I have to say, made me look pretty good through my shorts.   🙂

One change I would make (and it is small) is that the front panel. It is a bit wide at the top and the navy blue elastic rolled under almost immediately.  It didn’t change the comfort level, but it is a nice design feature that got lost.

PROS

  • great fabric
  • fun color combinations made them unique
  • excellent support

CONS

  • elastic around pouch rolled under

This pair was furnished for review by Macondo Trading. You can find it at Candyman Fashion for $16.48

natureAre you a fan of ManView Bodywear? If so, they just released a new collection in late August. The new collection is more of a basic line. It could be considered a departure from their previous collections. Which is not necessarily a bad thing in the world of underwear. We are going to profile a brief, a jock, a thong and boxer brief of the new collection!

MV7002 (2)

Not all of the collection is basic. We are profiling the MV7002 Sheer Bars Brief. This has a traditional cut but not traditional fabric or accents. The fabric is solid and mesh stripes. Its available in black or white with matching contrast ti on the legs and pouch. The accent on the pouch is designed to draw attention to it. Its available at Candyman Fashion for $20.48

MV8004 (6)

The jock ManView MV8004 Craven Microfiber Jockstrap is the only jockstrap in the new collection. The available in just red and black! The jock has a great material that will give you some excellent support with a bit of fashion mixed in! It is a little more low key from them but still sexy! You can get the Craven jock at the Candyman Fashion site for $16.48

MV9003 (3)

One of the new thongs from the collection is the ManView MV9003 Stretch Cotton Spectrum Thong. One reoccurring thing in the collection is the color block. These thongs have four different colors. Black, blue, red or white or Blue, white, black and red. They have a full waistband that matches the rest of the collection. Find the Stretch Cotton Spectrum Thong at Candyman Fashions for $19.49

MV9004 (2)

The boxer brief/trunk we are profiling is the ManView MV9004 Stretch Cotton Edger Boxer. This is one of the more basic designs in the collection but it’s still fun. The trim and contrasting solid colors make this pair pop against the black ManView waistband. Made with a body fitting cut with a supportive pouch! Available in grey and white. Find the Stretch Cotton Edger Boxer at Candyman Fashions for $26.48

manview-campus-gym-brief-6Before starting at UNB, Manview was not a brand I was familiar with.  They seem to be more under the radar than their competitors which is a shame because they have a very innovative mind when it comes to design.  They think outside the box which is great in an underwear world of so many different brands.  I received my first pair of Manview underwear and what came to my mind was “hmm this is unique.”  I immediately noticed the sporty inspired design of a lace up front.  I also wondered how comfortable all of that would be under a pair of jeans and if the laces would get caught up in your zipper throughout the day.  As for a brief, this pair is definitely on the wider side of the spectrum.  The overall coverage of the brief almost makes you think it is a short trunk rather than a brief.  This will definitely be a plus for the men who appreciate a fuller fitting brief!

The brief is made from a cotton and spandex combination that offers a nice comfortable, soft touch.  The black waistband features the Manview name in the center, which contrasts nicely to the white and green color of the brief.  The two toned front pouch adds a pop of color in the right place to accentuate the package.  With the color and laces, eyes go wear you want them to.  I slipped the pair on and prepared for a day of errands, chores, and dinner with friends.  I wear a medium and they fit true to size.  They were not too tight and looked good on.  I tend to go for smaller briefs than these but I was pleasantly surprised with how good they felt and how comfortable they were.  For my day, the pair held up nicely.  My initial concern was that there was too much going on in the front of this brief for a comfortable, functional wear but I was wrong.  Don’t let looks fool you on these!  The leg openings do not ride up, the back offers full coverage, and the front pouch has enough room to keep everything comfortable and in place all day.  manview-bodywear-campus-gym-boxer-brief-underwear-green-white-mv2002-303388959

All in all I have to say my first experience with Manview was a positive one.  I have looked through some of their inventory and their design scheme is amazing.  They really aim to offer something different to set themselves apart in the marketplace.  On a side note, I mention design as both a positive and negative because it can be very appealing to the eye but some may find it to be too much for a pair of underwear for daily wear.  Overall, I hope they continue to gain attention and spread the underwear love out to the men in need of some variety in their drawers!

Pros:

  • Innovative Design
  • Well Fitting Material
  • Color combinations

Cons:

  • Fuller brief (trunk like)
  • Busy front design

  • Sizing = 8.5

GDD World furnished this pair for review.

ManView_MV1001_Yellow_4The pair I am reviewing is ManView Bodywear Campus Brief. It is a long overdue review from when I was in Vegas in February. This is the third pair of ManView I have tried. The first was the 69 brief which ran way too small and the second was the Fire Brief, which was awesome and fit amazing! I loved this pair. I’m not sure where it is now.

The first thing about the Campus Brief that I loved was the colors. It has my two favorites Blue/Green. Green is my all time favorite color and it’s becoming rare in men’s underwear. The design has a color block design. I love how the pouch is a block of each color. If you aren’t a fan of blue/green it’s also available in yellow/grey for a more muted tone.

I wore this on not my busy day in Vegas but one where it was over 10,000 steps. The first thing that I liked was the pouch. It gave me ample support. The 94% Soft Cotton & 6% Spandex fabric was really nice. I liked the way it breathed and held it’s shape throughout the day. I have had pairs that didn’t offer support and on a busy day it just drives me insane. This pair felt great all day

ManView_MV1001_Green_1

The color block design is a big trend in men’s underwear. It’s a design that will catch your eye and can be used with any color combination you would want. This pair the blue/green just pops and looks amazing. I am not sure I would care for the other combo. I wished they had a few more color combinations. I think the blue/red or a yellow black combination would be amazing.

The sizing is pretty good. It fit me well in XL. The previous pair I had didn’t fit me, I think it was missized. This and the fire brief both fit well. If you follow the sizing charts you shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding the right fit.

Pros:

  • Color Block Pattern
  • Good Pouch design
  • Great for active use

Cons:

  • Limited colors

Ratings:

  • Fit – 8
  • Sizing – 8
  • Construction – 8
  • Styling – 8
  • Performance – 8

Our friends at His Trunks sent out an email about these yesterday. I think these are pretty awesome briefs. As you know I love briefs and prefer them over all styles. This pair I think is really cool and interesting. That is why we choose it as our Underwear of the Week.

These are by ManView, a company I haven’t tried before. I love the cut of these. They are a brief cut but smaller then a traditional brief. The next thing I love is that is like a tighty whity with the fly in the front. The last thing I love is the wider waistband with everyone’s favorite number “69” on it. The really interesting thing to me is the seam in the front. It looks like it has a fitted pouch. So it’s a mix of traditional and new!

This pair is available in four colors: Grey, Blue, White and Yellow. The sides of this pair is 4 inches wide and 2 inches of those are the waistband. Which I think it a good thing. It will fit well because there is 5% spandex mixed in with the cotton. They are available from His Trunks for $18. Check them out!
