Gregg Homme’s own website stated it best. This piece is “blisteringly sexy”. The Gregg Homme Hot Shot Booty Shorts are a statement beyond any other this reviewer has seen. With their criss-crossing elastic side panels, discreet metal rings, and ‘liquid touch’ fabric this gladiator style undergarment is more than your typical short. It is a magnet for attraction.
The beauty of the piece does have its limits, however. There are certain things anyone looking for a piece of sexy underwear should know. This type of underwear is not what I would call an everyday wear piece. Instead this is definitely designed and meant for special occasions. In a similar way that a woman buys a piece of lingerie, this is lingerie for men. I have to state this because after wearing it under a pair for jeans for a few hours, the elastic stitching popped on one of the criss crosses. That does not mean it was uncomfortable, it simply means I think the movement was too much for the stitching to handle.
Throughout the day of wearing, this piece stayed extremely comfortable. The brief style top to the rear in conjunction with the thong base took a little getting used to; however, after wearing for about 10 minutes it was extremely comfortable. I greatly enjoyed the hybrid style of the back. Not to mention that the hybrid was wonderful at showing off certain assets, in both the front and back. Add to that the fact that the fabric is cool and sleek and this piece is a pleasure to wear.
Coming in all sizes and 4 colors (Black, white, red and purple) this piece is a must have for any man that is looking to show off his Roman side and have a sexy piece to show off all of the important assets.

What were the inspirations for each line, is there a story behind them?
The inspirations of our collections come from all different angles: we travel a lot, we read a lot, we web-surf a lot, so we are constantly bombarded by thousands of images from fields that are not necessary fashion. We are also constantly solicited by our fans sharing their needs and fantasies and finally, we have an incredible creative team. All this put together reflects in our collections. As crazy as it may sound, a regular item from the day to day life could be the starting point of a new seem, a new fit or an extraordinary underwear innovative design.
Gregg Homme is known for its incredible use of super soft and stretchy materials, can you tell us about what you used in this collection
Our recent Liquid Touch Hyperstretch Microfiber that we timidly introduced in the KINK of the past season is making a definite statement in this new collection: there no words in the dictionary to explain the tactile sensation of that fabric. The sponginess and silkiness and that fabric is simply beyond words and to this day, everyone who ever touched that fabric looked back at us totally mesmerized, trying to describe that incredible sensation. If you get that feeling on your hand, you can just imagine what it feels like when you actually wear it.

There are no doubts about that; our videos are tattooed with fantasies and sensuality. Our fans not only appreciate them but keep asking for more. The pair I was lucky enough to review is the Gregg Homme Voyeur Brief. This is a first time we have reviewed Gregg Homme on the site. It’s part of our week long celebration of the new Gregg Homme line. There will be many fun things this week, so stay tuned!
I will say when I first took the pair out of the envelope I was a little worried. Because the pouch looked a little small and I wasn’t sure I was going to fit in it. This was a worry I should not have had, after many years of seeing them at Curve, I know their fabric stretches and fits your body like a glove!
This pair I wore to work to see how it would hold up during a day. The fabric really was form fitting and a bit sheer. Which to me added to the sexiness of the pair. There is nothing better then wearing a sexy pair of underwear to work to give you a little bit of extra confidence through out the day!
The Voyeur Brief has a very thin waistband and it held up through the day. I was very impressed on this pair. My only complaint and it was a minor one was the tag bothered me a few times but nothing too terrible. The sizing is pretty much spot on and I had no issues at all. If you follow the sizing guide on the Gregg Homme site you should be fine!
These would make a really awesome date night pair of underwear. It is super sexy with a hint of sheer. It made me feel sexy all day. I would definitely recommend this pair for anyone who likes sexy underwear that wears well! It goes back to what I have always said, “Gregg Homme does sexy and does it well.” Unlike some sexy undies these you can wear and are not made to come off after an hour of wearing!

We bring you a very cool interview with Eric Boisvert – President / Designer of Gregg Homme. Every year at Curve I get to meet with Gregg Homme and it’s always a highlight to see what they design. They have always mixed technology and fun. They aren’t afraid to push the envelope on men’s underwear.
Gregg Homme has had a few lines come out this year; could you give our readers a brief overview of the new lines?
This new collection is definitively certified provocative: our rubberlike fabrics, our smartly engineered transparencies, our ultra soft microfibers and our intricate trims all make this collection very eye catchy. With collection names like SCANDAL, TEASE, STEAM and KINK , I think that it is clear that we are working towards making men’s blood pressure go up (or it is their partner’s?). The “pièce de résistance” is irrefutably the XCESS collection: an astonishing ultra fine gauge microfiber (goodbye fabric, hello second skin!) with a brilliantly designed low cut front pouch enhanced with three light metal alloy X’s (yes, “XXX”). And for the most impudent, the XCESS collection gave birth to a bolder family member: the PIMP collection recreates a parallel “XXX” world where mesh and transparency work together to create a feast for the eyes.
Did you have an inspiration for this new collection?
It is my responsibility (with my team) to stay informed on all new trends within the fashion business. We read a lot, we travel a lot, and we listen a lot. But don’t let it fool you: our best inspirations do not come directly from fashion but from day to day products, accessories and experiences.
Which line was the most fun to create?
I have to admit that the KINK was a real challenge: I wanted to push that group very far with that unique fabric that we had developed (a hyper stretch liquid touch microfiber). The combination of that material with the leather like buckles was hours of pleasures. The result is simply astonishing. This is a top arousing collection…definitively.
Gregg Homme is known for making sexy underwear for men, but each year you innovate, how do you keep pushing undies further and further?
Men are evolving, getting more and more comfortable with their sexuality so we have no other choice but to rewrite the standards season after season. It is time to give back to men the sexy underwear they have been craving for. The men of today have stronger needs to seduce and they have the guts to express it: they are ready to move up one notch and it’s exactly where we are taking them
I have seen your undies at Curve you do some innovative processes in men’s underwear, why do you feel it’s important to bring new technology to men’s underwear?
The fabric and the fashion fields are in constant quest for newness. Bringing technology in fabrics (especially stretch fabrics) is playing an important part in the evolution of underwear. Let’s face it: we need to reinvent the wheel every day with a very small piece of material: it does not give us a lot of options when you get to think of it. Technology combined with the right level of creativity is the right path to deliver the sexiest underwear of the planet.
Is there anything in men’s underwear you will not do, either in style or materials?
I love that question! At Gregg Homme, we have no limitations when it comes to materials and styling and that there is nothing that we will not do if we know that our fans need it. Actually, we are trying to think of it before they even know they need it.

The videos for Gregg Homme are very sexy, how did the shoot for the two videos go?
The video shoot was a great time. Everyone involved was professional and fun to work with, which to me is key: 16-hour days can be gruelling, no matter what your job is, so it really makes things that much easier when everyone brings great, positive energy. I’m a bit of a perfectionist myself, so I totally understand the idea of things not being done until they’re done. It is important that I be satisfied that everyone is happy with a take before moving on, and that at the end of the day, someone’s vision has been brought to life. All in all, fun times. Shout out to all those involved!
The story line has a twist (which we won’t give, watch the videos) can you give a brief overview of the two videos?
Well, I’ll try to give my interpretation of the story without giving away any spoilers. At the start of the video, I wander into this private, Eyes-Wide-Shut-style party, complete with masks and racy cutaway leather lingerie. I quickly ease into my surroundings, getting undressed amidst the undulating bodies that surround me. In of a corner, a couple catches my eye; clearly I’m no stranger to this kind of thing, and I know exactly what I want. After a few exchanged glances in the service of an unspoken desire, the girl pushes me to the ground, where I’m left writhing with pleasure. It would seem I have quite the exhibitionist streak. So far, everything is going according to plan. Then, out of the blue, a pair of shadowy hooded figures seize me and bind me in leather handcuffs. I’m locked in what is essentially a large bird cage, presumably under the gaze of all the revellers, and so I decide to put on a show for them. When life gives you lemons… After this, there are a few twists and turns which I probably shouldn’t reveal, so let’s just say that my goal is to somehow make it out of the cage and to find my way back to the mysterious couple who led me down this path in the first place. Were they even real?
I think the video works on a few levels: there certainly is a narrative, however it remains loose enough so as to be pretty open to interpretation, allowing the viewer to ultimately read into it in any way he or she pleases. Really, to me, though, the video is a cross-section of different types of sexual fantasy, and hints at how they can come together or clash in interesting and unexpected ways. Things are not always as they seem!
Anything you can share about the shoot? (anything funny, or such happen)
I might have an NSFW story or two J… Let’s just say that Youtube has certain criteria restricting what you can show in videos it hosts, and a few scenes with some of the other scantily-clad actors led to me having to ice myself down before we could proceed with the shooting… Use your imaginations, folks!
Also, speaking of icing, by the end of the day my head was literally covered in bumps from hitting my head on that damn cage when exiting it… Seriously, I must have done this at least five times. The crew got to hear me swear in like 3 different languages!
Since you did a shoot for Gregg Homme, do you have a favorite pair?
I’m not gonna lie, I really liked the Xcess. Definitely something I would break out on special occasions. Also, I need to give the Stripper model a mention; it’s just so fun and quirky (and comfortable! trust me) that it is something I can see myself wearing very often.

Well, my long overdue website should be out early next year, my academic schedule permitting (it’s going to showcase my modeling work as well as my l33t blogging skillz), but until then, I’m usually out partying it up in various Montreal hotspots (and even not-so-hotspots) on weekends, so if you see me come over and say hi!
