aussieBum is a company that isn’t afraid to have fun with underwear or swimwear. Every pair of aussieBum I have had, have been amazing. The next on my list is to try some of their swimwear. I may just have to make the LowRider that pair I try. It is available in three different styles. In order from top to bottom is the Bullet, Optical, Perspective and Slash. We have full pictures below the fold.
aussieBum says: “This sexy, Sleek ‘low riding’ swimwear range is anything but low key! The striking designs range from op-art black and white patterns to high contrast custom prints. Featuring a light-weight elastane material that is quick drying with a smooth matte finish. Get sexy – get low.”
This range really reminds me of the 80′s. We are seeing a resurgence in all things 80′s lately. Brands are using neon/day glow colors and now aussieBum is embracing the optic prints. Back in the day, and I mean the 80′s, there were pants, shirts and more with fun black and white optic prints.
I love that aussieBum isn’t afraid to step outside of the underwear/swimwear box. Whether you like or dislike the design you can’t say they are boring. Find these on the aussieBum site for $53.87
aussieBum has released a new limited edition line of swimwear called the Glaze. This line is a line inspired by denim. Denim looking undies are starting to be a trend in the men’s underwear/swimwear world. Over the next year you will see a lot more pairs that are denim inspired. The aussieBum swimwear are one of the first to be released. It’s definitely a different look for the beach!
Unlike denim this pair is made for swim. I don’t know if you ever jumped into a pool or ocean in jeans but it’s not fun! The Glaze is made out of 72% Polyamide, 28% Elastane blend with an elastic waist and draw cord. This means that it will look like denim but not act like the cotton fabric. Also like denim you can get these in three different colors; blue, green and burgundy.
These are limited edition and will sell out fast. They retail for $46.25 at the aussieBum site.

Underwear of the week should be very fun. This week the search didn’t take very long to find a great pair. That lucky pair is the aussieBum Billy Galaxy Brief. It is very retro in the print, deigns and colors used. aussieBum has always taken pride in making underwear fun. A prime example of this is on the podcast we did a few years ago with Sean Ashby said they created the Fisherman series because the model had a nice butt. aussieBum is a company that like fun and doesn’t always have to take itself seriously.
The new Billy line has 9 retro style in each of the pairs. However, the pair we chose is the Billy Galaxy brief. The pair is very retro 80′s! That means the print of 8 bit video characters and the colors used will transport you back to the 70′s! You can see this in the picture to the right. It looks very Space Invaderish.
Reasons this pair is our underwear of the week:
Made out of 100% Australian cotton.
Material is super light weight
Great colorful 70′s inspired print
A bikni cut that is a throw back to the 70′s
Available for around $17

The one thing I love about covering underwear is that someone always comes up with new fun prints and colors for undies. By doing this it really adds to the fun factor. aussieBum has done just that with it’s new Billy Range. The range has 8 retro fun prints. As youc an see they have the 8 bit graphic, camo, floral and cartoon inspired.
aussieBum is one of those companies not afraid to take a risk. If you remember a few years back they had the Valentine’s underwear of bunnies, well for a lack of better term, doing it! Which really made me laugh. The 8 patters are as diverse as our readers. There will be one that you will love.
We posted the video this week but to see all the patterns go to the aussieBum site and check them out. The pairs retail for $16.75 and only available in brief cut!
