There is a new brand blasting onto the market. Sorry, I had to say that with the title. Which happens to be the slogan of new brand called Krakatoa Underwear. I found this brand on Instagram. They did a promoted post of just a pair of green boxer briefs. The pouch and design is what caught my eye. I shot them an email and within a few hours. They answered back! We have an interview coming very soon!
The brand is focusing on the anatomical pouch, wide waistband, awesome fabric, and craftsmanship. I had the chance to talk to them a big over the weekend. They have such an amazing energy and passion for creating a killer brand. On top of those things listed above. They are all about making underwear that improves guys lives. We all know what an amazing pair of underwear can do to your attitude, confidence, and self esteim.
The pairs they have are just three. A boxer briefs, trunk and brief. They are starting small but I fully expect them to grow over the next year or two. Starting a new brand in a crowded space is not easy. Each style comes in five different colors. Deep Black, Flat Grey, Forrest Green, Ocean Green and Polar White. The fabric is 92 percent Micro-Modal + 8 percent Spandex. Modal is the go to fabric for underwear. It’s fast become one of my favorites. Mix the modal with spandex and take my money!
Lastly, Notice the image above. Its of guys of different ages, races and sexual orientations. They are making underwear for all guys. Krakatoa is one of the few brands stepping outside of the traditional underwear models. They are showing their underwear on all kinds of guys. We definitely applaud that, readers of UNB range in age, race and sexual orientation. They prove our point great underwear is for everyone.
Thier slogan is “Put a Volcano in your Pants.” It’s a fun slogan for a great company who we will see do big things in the underwear industry.
