I am calling it now, I think that 2015 is going to be the year of the swimwear brands! We have some amazing companies come on to the scene. One of those companies is Holas Beachwear.They have an interesting story on how they were founded. It started when three friends went on a vacation to Ibiza in 2008. They wanted to hit the beach but noticed their board shorts were out of place. “We didn’t particularly like what we found in terms of trunks so we decided to develop a brand which reflected our personalities and what we like in terms of quality, fitting and prints”. So they spent the vacation in their ‘out of style” shorts.
They caught up a few years later and That’s when one of the guys says: ” Why don’t design one? Seriously! We always wanted to find something to do together, we all love the beach and this could be it!“ Between nervous giggles and without saying a word, we knew we were going to do it. Create our own beachwear brand. The mission of the brand is “Uncompromising design with quality and comfort, reflecting the attitude of the modern man.”
They went on to tell us more about them and the brand:. “We are 3 guys with 3 very distinctive personalities with the love for travel,parties and all the good things life as to offer, which we try to reflect on Holas beachwear collections.”
We make sure that all styles on Holas beachwear make a statement, whether in terms of colour, print or a certain fitting.People search for Holas beachwear to find that certain item they don’t find on other places. We don’t intend to be plain… Our Slogan: “Holas beachwear, Only for those who dare”
Holas beachwear SS15 is in their second collection and they always have 3 lines on their collection. This year they have focused on:
- Montecarlo Bay: Renovated and attractive nautical inspired line.
- Miami Vice: All the fun and tropical side of Miami for a more confident type of men.
- Marrakech Express: Moroccan tiles inspire this line where sophistication is a key word.
When asked about the name they told us this was how the name came out. “Finding a name was easy. Holas beachwear, our way of saying “hi” to a new beachwear brand and
adventure.”
