Over the past week, I have had the pleasure of reviewing Joe Snyder’s Launch (LCH) bikini and it was the first time that I have worn any piece of Joe Snyder underwear. While getting the chance to try new and unique undies is always welcomed, there is always a slight fear of the unknown in terms of style, construction, as well as brand. This bikini certainly was different than any other brief that I have worn since it features an elastic ring within the pouch of the brief to provide a substantial front profile enhancement. Pictured above this review are images of myself in the review pair to give you, the reader, an idea of how the pair fit on me so you can further understand my perspective. I will attempt to do this for each underwear review that I do moving forward. Now, onto my review.

When I first opened the package containing the bikini, I had no preconceived notions on what to expect. In fact, when I first looked into the pouch and saw the size of the ring that I would put my junk through, I was honestly pretty confused. After three or four tries to snake my stuff through the hole, I was amazed by the profile increase. It is very drastic. In terms of comfort, the longer I wore the bikini, the more I got used to the feeling of the ring and grew to enjoy it. Along with the ring in the front, there are also two slits on each side of the pouch. At first, these seemed very unnecessary and I wasn’t very fond the of aesthetics of the front of the pair. Once I wore the underwear, I quickly realized that these slits make both positioning your junk through the ring and using the bathroom much easier. Featuring a fully covered rear, this bikini never rode up and the leg opening do not separate from my legs. Even after working out and putting the underwear through the paces of a normal day, the underwear did not change positions at all. Very impressive.

My favorite part of this bikini is the fabric. Using an 80% polymide and 20% spandex fabric blend, this brief is incredibly soft and smooth while having the ability to wick away sweat. I found its feeling to be very similar to the swim briefs which I have worn swimming laps in high school. When compared to the fabrics of all the briefs I currently own, this Joe Snyder bikini wins hands down. The fabric alone can make you forget that you are wearing any underwear at all, even though your goods are stuffed through the inner elastic ring.

Joe Snyder offers this brief in four other colors other than turquoise. Following this test, I intend to try wearing more Joe Snyder products and I suggest you do the same.

Pros-

  • Superior front profile lift
  • Lack of underwear shift throughout the day
  • Amazing fabric blend

Cons-

  • Other than my minor aesthetic gripe regarding the front pouch, none at all.
