Today’s Brief Distraction is from Go Softwear! This is part of their recently launched California Lifestyle collection. The model featured in this is a new discovery and we hope to have more about him soon!

The Joe Snyder Boxer in Wine was a great pair of boxer briefs in a wine colored fabric that was stretchy and shiny. I felt like the holidays had come early. The fabric consists of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex and makes for a soft feel with perfect stretch and conforming nature to provide fantastic support in all areas. The way the pouch area is sewn creates a supportive and stretchy pouch that is quite comfortable. Size Large was true to size as I am a true Large in undies. The area around the waistband is a piece of elastic covered with the same fabric as the body of the underwear and is approximately one quarter of an inch wide. There is a small Joe Snyder logo on the front right side near the waistband. The boxer is sewn together in pieced panels with the rear being on piece that conforms to the buttocks and feel like a second skin.
This boxer is more of a squarecut boxer that used to be the alternative to the longer legged boxer brief, but the same supportive nature of the regular boxer brief. I prefer to call it a squarecut brief. The quality was excellent, the wine coloring was beautiful, the fabric soft and conforming and the pouch was stretchy and supportive. After putting this pair on, I found the pouch to stretch and conform to the package. This fabric will be very supportive and keep the package close to the body.
I wore this Joe Snyder Boxer for a few hours one evening and a couple of days later to work. I began with working around the house a bit and ended with a nice dinner with my significant other. The boxer remained comfortable for the evening. I found the waistband to be extremely comfortable. The pouch was comfortable and I think Joe Snyder really thought about the fit and fabric. While at work, the boxer was comfortable and I never had a bunching issue with the form fitting fabric. I felt like the fabric was breathable, smooth, and supportive with a second skin kind of feel.
Overall, this was a great pair of underwear! I liked the look of the rear, the wine coloring, the feel of the fabric, the overall look of the boxer, and the conforming and enhancing nature of the pouch. The price is a bit high, but fairly reasonable for this type of specialty underwear due to styling and fabric. Hand wash only and lay flat to dry, please. In general, I have no major complaints about this boxer and I enjoyed wearing them. I will be purchasing more of these besides my review pair.

Today’s Brief Distraction is from Croota. They have really come out with a great set of underwear that was featured in our guide. We have reviewed them and have featured them many times on the blog. This is the Night Surfer Trunks. Check them out at the Croota Site

I have never had a pair of Joe Snyder underwear. I know that is very hard to believe considering I run an underwear blog. There have been many things I have heard over the years about Joe Snyder. There are some who swear that Joe Snyder is the best underwear company around. While others have said that the pouch is small, it’s tight and etc.
With all these opinions going through my head, I was a little worried how I would like them. Would the pouch be big enough? Would it fit? More on that in a minute. The newest line from Joe Snyder, it has made a big splash in the world of underwear. Joe Snyder is one to use vibrant colors and classic designs. The line has a black accent stripe that literally frames your pride. It will draw attention to the pouch.
I wore this pair to work and knew the minute I put it on that it would be an amazing pair. The complaints about the pouch being small are not true with this pair. When I first put them on it was like the pair was made for me. It fit so well that I didn’t’ want to take them off. It was like I wasn’t wearing any underwear through out the day. It is a line that I will get more of and put them in my drawer. These came at a good time because after loosing weight I’m in the market for new undies to fill my drawer.
If you have been a long time reader of the blog you know that a pouch is the most important thing to me in underwear. I don’t care what else the underwear has going for it, with out a pouch I won’t like it as much. The pouch on the Pride Frame has to be one of my favorites I’ve ever reviewed. Why did I like it so much, it was the combination of the fabric and design that has won me over. I want to get them in all colors now!
The Pride Frame is made out of 90% Polyamide, 20% Spandex mix, which is super stretchy and conforms to your body. The pair I wore was an XL, in typical American sizing it would be a Large. Meaning it would easily fit a 36 waist. The important thing on Joe Snyder is read the sizing chart at their site or the retailer to pick the right size. There is nothing worse then getting the wrong size of underwear!
Pros:
- Great pouch

Today’s Brief Distraction features another picture from our Holiday Guide! We feature Clever today and the Mesh Bars Boxer. We hope you have enjoyed the pictures so far!

It’s no secret to anyone who knows me that I am an avid fan of hot underwear. Most of my collection consists of various briefs. Everything from colorful low rise to classic tighty whities to a skimpy bikini or two. Briefs are my go-to choice for daily wear. But lately I’ve been wearing jocks more and more, not just for the gym or athletic activities. So I was really excited to receive this jock from Joe Snyder to review. I already have several other pairs of underwear from them and one of their jocks, so this makes a great addition to my collection. As with many of the jocks that Joe Snyder offers, it is “one size (28/38)”, and is microfiber 80% Polyamide 20% Elastane.
I absolutely loved wearing this jock all day. As soon as I put it on, I knew this was the start of a great relationship. The fabric blend is amazing and feels great. And the support…ooh the support. I cooked breakfast (doesn’t everyone cook in their underwear?), did some work in my office, and then took off on my day. The day included a little retail therapy, a coffee date, and a dance class. I had on jeans to start the day, athletic pants to wind it down. This jock felt great underneath both. I didn’t experience any chafing with the straps, and the pouch kept me in place all day, even while I was kick-ball-changing my way through class.
Joe Snyder loves to create underwear with something extra. This jock has a cutout in the front. Think of it as a little peek-a-boo, giving a hint of what lies beneath. This drew an inquisitive glance or two in the locker room. Which for anyone who wears things like this is not a problem. And I am sure if you wear this jock and get into an intimate situation it will definitely add some spice!
This jock fit me really well. Which leads me to wonder just how the “one size” fits guys with a larger waist. I imagine that the waist might be a little tight for someone with a larger waist size and that the straps might feel tighter and little more binding.
